I'm disappointed with this jacket. I'd read so many great reviews about how warm and versatile it was. My gripes: it's very stiff & doesn't seem very breathable, not good for skiing or climbing. I'm 5'3", 110 lbs, usually a XS or S in TNF. The S fit, but if I roll my shoulders back, felt tight across the chest (I'm pretty flat), & it would definitely feel tight if I had any layers underneath. Thinner than expected/not very warm. Also, the cuffs are really tight, so you can't roll them up if you get warm. It's kind of short, so not good coverage in the cold. If you want a tailored spring/fall windproof jacket, it's good. I was looking for something more functional and substantial to use as an midlayer for winter that could also be worn alone for spring/fall.

This jacket is such great quality (as many other North Face jackets are) and is definitely worth the price. I ordered one size up (being 5'4" and 120 lbs I am usually a small, but ordered a medium) and I love how it fits. I was worried about it making me look bigger because I was sizing up, but since the jacket is already form-fitted, I still look slim in it and I have more room in it if I wanted to wear a sweater. The sleeves are a little bit long, but not too long, I like that so my hands are not freezing when I am walking. Overall, this is a great jacket and I am very pleased with my purchase.

I wanted a North Face jacket for a long time and finally purchased this one. I am extremely happy with my purchase I did size up as other reviews said as it runs small. I got a size large (5'3" 150 pounds) and fits perfectly over a sweater or sweatshirt. It has a nice fit and flattering not to mention warm in Minnesota weather! I also was offered free shipping and it was at my front door in less than 24 hours for free! Overall five stars without a doubt!

I tried both the medium and large, decided on the large even though it is a bit big in the shoulders, the medium was tight in the hip area. Great service from Zappos! ( 5' 3 about 140 lbs).

Love the Apex Bionic jacket! Beautiful finished material & style! I purchased this jacket to wear for Fall or chill days. This is my 6th jacket from TNF. This jacket is suitable for the Fall & Spring seasons. For Winter, it needs a vest or another layer would be good to go. I'm 5'1" and thin scale with short torso. I find this jacket fit me perfectly in Size XS. Would recommend it to all. Zappos has the best customer service and free overnight shipping both ways - no other companies can beat it! Period! I'm a happy customer since a long time. I always buy jackets & shoes from Zappos! I hope my feedback helps you decide better. Enjoy!

Love this jacket. Great quality. Runs slightly small. Not enough to size up, but if you're in between sizes, go for the larger size. Very warm without being bulky.

This is a nice jacket. If you read other reviews it tells you to size up. I'm glad I tried this on in the store before I bought it, I am a size small, and the size small fit me perfectly (except sleeve length). I am 5'3 120-125 size 4-6 pants, fit and somewhat lean. I put it on over my Nike sweatshirt (also size small) I had my phone and my wallet in the sweatshirt front pocket and I was still able to zip it up, although it was snug and weird fitting because of those items in my pocket. The sleeves are a bit long, I'm debating if I could get it hemmed without compromising the quality of the jacket. It is made out of Gore-Tex which is what the military uses for water-resistant warmth and it is very effective at doing both of those things.

Great jacket - lightweight yet kept me nice and warm. Runs a little small, so get a size larger. I wish it had a drawstring at the wrist because the sleeves are a little long for me, but this jacket is great!

This jacket ROCKS!! I love this jacket - it was a great purchase and a great price from Zappos. I like that it is slightly fitted (so I'd suggest ordering one size up if you plan to wear a sweatshirt underneath). The best part is that dog hair doesn't stick to it! We have a yellow Lab and a Springer so it's hard to keep their hair off of my jackets but this jacket does the trick. Perfect for that 'inbetween' late summer/fall weather.

Bought this for my girlfriend who is very cold natured. She loves it and wears it everywhere. She says the description is accurate and that the jacket does not let any wind through it. Seems to be of a very durable material and build. She gets compliments everywhere because of the pink plaid pattern. Again, she loves it!

Great jacket! Thin but very windproof. Excellent in the Las Vegas winds/light rain. Sleeves are a little long on me, but I like the length of the torso (I'm 5'3").

I love this jacket! It is very light but warm. I also love the material. It deflects water and doesn't attract pet hair like fleece. Definitely worth the money! I do think the sizing runs a little small. I normall wear a large (sometimes a medium) but I had to get an XL.

There is a lot of dispute about sizing of this jacket. I find it true to size. I'm 5'1" and 110 pounds. The XS is a perfect fit with room for layering. It is much roomier than the jacket shown on the model, though very feminine tailored.

I love this jacket! It's light-weight and comfortable yet warm and blocks the wind. I ordered a size bigger as recommended in the reviews and it fits great.

I read over many reviews of this jacket before going to try it on in store. Based on the reviews, I was set on getting the Medium. I'm generally a size small (5'4, ~130lbs, size 4) but reading the recommendations of going a size up I was planning on getting a Medium. When I went in to try it on I was surprised to see the small fit perfectly. There was even extra room if I wanted to layer tops! However if you are planning on wearing sweaters and layering tops underneath, I do recommend the Medium. If not, the small will fit just fine if you have measurements similar to mine!

The windy - snowy mountains of Colorado, Montana, Idaho and Washington in early winter was a good test of this jacket and once again, North Face passed the test!

Very warm coat that is not bulky at all. The material is very thin and you are able to move around well. It's very cute and I have received many compliments. I purchased a large and it just fits around my hips (5'3", 140 lbs). I think if I wore a lot of thick clothes under the coat it could get kind of tight. All in all a great buy!

I got two of these for two of my daughters for Christmas, they wear them all the time. They were a BIG hit! I got the mediums because they are tight across the chest, as I read in another review, and I was glad I did.

I bought this for my daughter. The jacket fits beautifully and is just the right weight. The jacket is quite fitted, so order on the larger size. It requires careful and continued washing, but that is to be expected with a white jacket. It washes well, and looks very good after washing. I would buy another for my daughter.

Great jacket. My wife is always cold and this coat keeps her warm in the rough Northeast winters. Zappos was quick and easy to navigate and fast shipping! Will be doing more business in the future.

Aside from the corny commercials that stick in my head, Zappos saved me! My daughter has wanted this jacket for orthodox Xmas. I missed an opportunity to buy it at a regular store. They sold out & I thought I would try Zappos. They only had 2 left! I thought they would contact me 2 days later & say "sorry we are out of stock".
