After careful research I chose to purchase these shoes as my general use travel shoes, and I couldn't be happier. They slip on and off very easily, are extremely comfortable, and after going to a convention for a week, walking 20 miles a day in them, at the end of the day my feet weren't tired at all and a new first for me! These shoes are awesome and I recommend them for any heavy traveler! The only one nitpick I have is I should have gotten them a half size or so smaller. Once they broke in some, it felt like there was a little too much 'sliding' in them as I was walking, but it never caused a blister or anything so I'm going to keep them as it is. :)

Bought these shoes as a gift for my husband because he has been wanting some slip on shoes but does not like the suede looking ones. I was hoping all the reviews were correct about the comfort because he is on his feet a lot. Well, he loves them and says that they are super comfortable. They must be because they are his go-to shoes. He wears them all the time. They also are a great looking casual shoe. Great for traveling if you have to pick one shoe to take.

I have owned 3 pairs of these shoes yet this last pair did not last. I have owned this pair for a little over a year. Yesterday, where the leather and the tread on the side meets, it split. From my pinky toe all the way to the heel, completely open. I think the leather was weak there and it finally gave out. I won't be buying another pair.

I already won a pair of Roper PSO's for casual wear and really was satisfied with the fit and look of the shoe. I wanted to try a pair for work as I am on my feet for over ten hours a day - five days a week in a rough production environment. I needed a roughout finish and these looked like they would fit-the-bill. I have worn them a month now and they feel so much better on my feet than the heavier work boots I have worn all these years. I was so impressed that I turned right around and bought a second pair of the same shoe. Zappos.com delivered my order in less than three days. I am very pleased with both the product and service thus far.

Nice looking shoe, however, it fit rather tight, although I have a high instep which may be the problem.

Comfortable, easy to slip on and off, good support. It's a great over-all work shoe. Tough enough to handle construction sites.

Excellent shoe for overseas airline travel - I bought these shoes to wear for overseas flights. They are extremely easy to get on and off for security checkpoints, and easily slipped on at the end of the long flight. Although I wouldn't recommend them for hiking, the shoes are very comfortable for travel.

Roper Slip On shoes - This is a nice looking shoe and feels as good as it looks. The excellent service from Zappos is always a major plus in buying shoes. This is not my first or last purchase from Zappos.

Great value - I had purchased the other color and was pleased with this shoe. My order from Zappos was my first but it will not be my last. Service was excellent! The shoe is easy to slip on and off which I like. I am glad that I have both colors as I can rotate depending on where I am going. I originally thought that they might be a bit heavy because of the substantial sole, but I was able to wear it all day from day one.

Roper - These are the first Roper's I've owned and they are great, comfortable and get lots of compliments. They only thing - Zappos accidentally sent me the wrong color - but my wife really liked how they looked so I didn't send them back. I'm thinking about getting the darker color now too.

Great Shoe - Purchased for my trendy adult son who won't be caught in athletic shoes. He reports terrific support, great comfort, and the great look with Dickies or jeans. They fit his high instep - a nice surprise for slip-ons. Very well constructed and sturdy. Excellent value!

WOW! First pair of Roper's. Normally use sole inserts, may not have to. These have a lot of cushion and support. I should have purchased two pair! I am very hard to 'fit'. Very impressed and my feet are very happy! I'll be back.

Cowman - The best footwear I have ever worn.

I have never had more compliments on a pair of shoes before, guys and gals. These shoes (tan) are great looking with faded jeans or khakis. More comfortable and durable than deck shoes. Slip them on and off without missing a step. GREAT SHOE!!!!

Well stick my head in the sand - The faux ostrich looks cool and you can wear them for dress or casual also very comfy and as always Zappos service is the greatest thanx C.D.

My first pair of roper shoes - I have just purchased my first pair of Roper shoes. I have been wearing Clarks and Rockports at a greater price. I just put these on and they felt wonderful. They fit perfectly and feel like house slippers.

Purchased this shoe for a 9 hour plane ride to Europe and for walking around cobblestone streets. Exceeded my expectations in terms of comfort, support and looks. I would buy other Roper shoes and Zappos delivery was great. I received them promptly at no extra charge.

Unfortunately the shoes did not fit. I believe the size was a little narrower than I had anticipated.

These are way cool - Love these Ropers. Very comfortable. I get tons of comments on how cool they are. People think they are boots till you pull up your pant legs. Give them try you won't be sorry.

Wide in soles - I just received my new Roper slip ons. I have another pair and have loved them. This pair however has begun to fray at the elastic connection in only a few uses. If you have a high wide insole this might not be the best shoe for you

Comfortable travel shoes - I bought the Roper Performance Slip-Ons mainly for dealing with airport security. I wanted a slip-on to deal with the shoe inspection and also needed something that would be close to the comfort of athletic shoes. I am very pleased with these shoes.

Pretty good, but not great non-slip - The shoe is very comfortable, but I find the 'non-slip' aspect of the sole to be mediocre.

My husband has loved the fit and comfort of this shoe for years. But the finish of this one is just plain ugly. It is a rough mottled finish that we never would have bought had we seen it in advance. We will make sure to get a smooth finish next time.

OK Shoe - Relatively comfortable, but unattractive slip-on.
