Light for a full boot, very comfortable and fairly warm. Out of 9 pair of boots, these were the only ones from the shipment I kept. Love 'em!

Great! My husband loves them. I bought these boots for my husband, who never does his own shopping! He is a wide width, which can be hard to find. Thank you Zappos for carrying wide! Hubby is extremely happy with these. Ordered them on Thursday, had them on Friday, in time for a weekend getaway. He wore them all weekend, and said they were very comfortable, no break-in required, no blisters. He likes the lower height on back, for ease of movement. Thanks Zappos, for the great service as usual. Best online shoe seller I have found. I continue to come back to you, as no one can beat your service. Highly recommend these boots.

So far so good! Very nice shoe - I immediately put it to use while doing remodel work on the house, working in the garage and clearing the driveway of snow. Comfortable fit, comfy standing on cement, and grippy in the snow. Amazing fast shipping from Zappos, even during the holiday rush!

Superb value. Use them primarily for working outdoors and don't know they are on.

Best Hiker I've Ever Owned - I have wide feet and find most work and walking boots unsatisfactory for working in the mountains where we live. The Hi-Tec has proven to give me stability, traction, and comfort whatever I'm doing. Work or play, in it all day, and it's wonderful. I love it and bought a second pair for when my first pair wears out.

Comfortable right out of the box - Ordered these on a Tuesday, arrived on Wednesday, great shipping as always. Bought two pairs of these, one for each of my sons. We spent the next 3 days hiking on rough, rocky, wet trails. They said perfect fit, comfortable, good traction and they liked the looks.

A Great Boot - I purchased these for my son, who hates boots, to wear on a ski trip. He loved them for their comfort, he work them for 1 week straight without a complaint. I thought that they looked great on him.

5 Stars All-Around - I've worn HiTec's since `87, so I knew what to expect when they came, LESS THAN ONE DAY later. Sometimes when you order something online you get "seconds". When the shoes came there was no bad stitch, no cracks in the soles, and no discoloration in the leather. Perfect shoes. They were exactly what I ordered. Thank you.

Good Hiker for the Price - Most comfortable boot I ever got right out of the box I am hard to fit 14 EE I liked it so much I ordered another pair!

T.J.s - This is a well formatted and fitting shoe to the foot but I wish it was waterproof and I do not know how to remove the sock liner but over all it is good fitting and grips good.

Great Light Hiker - I've liked Hi-Tec for fit and comfort since the first day I wore one over 5 years ago. I took a brand new pair on a 2 week hiking trip and they were awesome. They are my daily work boots, too. I walk on gravel all day and they really give me comfort and support.

Comfortable everyday hiker - Purchased for my teenage son who hates to shop, he gets Hi-Tec's every year. Always comfortable and he says they don't need breaking in.

Great shoe - This is a great hiking shoe. True to fit, lightweight, very comfortable. It has a large toebox area and I have had no problems with blisters or pain. Of course, excellent Zappos delivery service.

Finally, a wide hiker that is actually WIDE! I have tried many other hikers labeled as wide, but they never really had a roomy toe box. These do! I gave them 4 out of 5 stars for comfort because I need more arch support and cushioning. The addition of a sole ultra footbed has helped in this regard. This is a good lightweight day hiker, but it would need a stiffer sole and more cushioning for longer hikes or backpacking.

Great, comfortable, and affordable boot. I went on a hiking trip in the White Mountains wearing these boots and had no problems with blisters or sore feet. I was actually surprised to find how comfortable they really are. Not only did I find this boot to be extremely comfortable, but the price is amazing as well.

Great Boots! These boots fit great right out of the box. They are comfortable and exactly as described. These are hiking boots but I purchased them for work. Very happy with purchase and Zappos.

These Shoes are great - Comfort, easy on and off, warm on ice.

Comfortable & good looks! So far so good! I have had these hiking boots for a little over 2 weeks now and they feel good on my feet. I haven't had the opportunity to put them to the test hiking in all terrain but they have been on the treadmill at the gym and were comfortable while I walked a few miles. The real test will be working in them in the more rugged places that I survey in.

Best for your bucks - I consider these to be the best for your money in this price range. They also stand up to a lot of abuse.

This was the best fitting boot that I have worn in a long time. Price of the boot was dead on.
