Awesome looking shoes, adequte skaters -
I've been looking for all white tennis-style sneakers that I could rock with skinny raw denim jeans and i could skate with at the same time. These are exactly what I was looking for, they're super stylish, light, felt skateable out of the box and even better when broken in. The impact is great as opposed to the usual vulcanized sole shoes. I assume it's the g2 system. It's not a fancy system, but it works. And if you like your board feel, you'll love these. I don't think these will be that durable for hardcore everyday skate sessions, but if you're tired of bringing 2 pairs of shoes to look good in and skate in, just bring these bad boys. They have no ankle support though; I broke my ankle in these. But they'll definitly be rocked again.

Leo Emerica -
These shoes are nice. They held up pretty good and the cushioning was excellent. I usually do big stair sets and they didn't hurt my feet at all. Good shoes for a beginner, okay for pretty good people so yea.

Emerica Leo -
This shoe is pretty much built for skating. It has a super nice sole and is the lightest shoe I have ever held. The toe cap is leather every thing else is cloth so it's not a boony ramble shoe but it does the job. A bit narrow and has a great price and looks sweet!!!!

These are pretty snazzy!
These Leos are pretty good I must say. They have really good board feel and you can do a lot more stuff. But the only bad thing is that after awhile, the sole starts to wear down and the big gaps and sets hurt. That is why I got the Bosses. Those are beasts! But yeah, good shoe.

Sweetness -
Wow! These shoes are amazing. They look really cool and they skate great! The vulcanized footbed really gives you great board feel which I found was perfect/easier to land a lot of tricks. They’re extremely comfortable, but they are a tad bit narrower around the toes but you'll get used to it. They’re a pretty tough shoe but since I skate more than the average skater its taking quite a beating BUT I’d definitely want another pair of these.

Swell.
These shoes are amazing! They last really long...I have had mine for 4 months now and they’re not even scuffed! Wow-ee! I can kick flip about 3 feet higher than I used to and I learned boneless 540's with these.

"Looks Great" -
I have purchased Emericas on and off now for the last eight years and they rarely disappoint! I had never had a pair I wasn't pleased with until these. I purchased them less than a month ago and the sole is literally falling off, like the glue is not holding it to the shoe. I don't know what the deal is. I got them in maroon and they look awesome, but their structural integrity leaves much to be desired.

Pretty good shoes -
Shoes were a little tighter than expected. Real thin with great board feel, it gets broken in at the first few steps. I got switch flips first try.

To chill, not skate -
I like Emerica and Vans because the models I buy are usually a half size larger than marked - which was the case with these. Buy these shoes only for fashion - not for skating. The edge in the heel area where the sole connects to upper came apart (but the sole itself isn't falling off the shoe), they need better glue for this popular item. I'm definitely buying a second pair soon.

Leos are a great buy I'll say, but when if there’s a shoe that u wanna have last awhile, these aren't your choice. They are comfy, although I have a hole through the ollie area and the grip is almost gone on both my pairs. They do have killer style and board feel but aren't a very durable shoe. I'd get another pair I suppose.

It depends from person to person -
A lot of people like the vulcanized thin feel. Some people can't handle it...but that doesn't mean it's bad, it just depends from person to person as all vulcanized shoes the gum wears down faster than if it were made of other material...on the other hand, vulcanized shoes have more grip (it doesn't slip) also, they're thin, but as if said before, it gives more feel.
I'd also recommend:
any other vulcanized shoe, unless it sucks

Leo -
The shoes have the coolest look I have ever seen in a skate shoe and it is almost impossible to find a shoe with more board feel. It almost feels like you’re skating in socks, but its thinness is its downfall as well. The shoes will absolutely slaughter your feet if you skate stairs. I'm talking bruises everywhere. The grip is amazing and the toe area lasts for quite a long time. I've had mine for awhile now and they’re still not ripping bad enough to where some adhesive can’t repair it. So get the Leos in a sick colorway and throw some thicker sole pads in there. They’re a good buy!

Killer style but sacrifice a bit of comfort -
These shoes are old-school beauties, spiffy yet not overstated. For proper fit I needed to go up a half-size, so consider that if you order them. For added comfort I suggest that once you break them in you purchase an in-sole.
I'd also recommend:
Lakai MJ-3 for similar striped style but much more comfort

Emerica Leo shoe review -
Shoes are very comfortable. Because they are suede, I sprayed them with suede weather proofing. Now water does not penetrate and/or damage the shoe. Also dirt just brushes off.

Emerica Leo -
The new shoe the Leo from Emerica is a very conferrable and affordable shoe. The thin vulcanized sole makes for maximum board feel and flexibility, with the G2 technology there is no worry about heel bruises.

Super comfortable but horrible to skate. If u just want a chill shoe or if your vert then these are great. But otherwise for hardcore skating (double set/and stairs higher than 6) these are not good.

I got these in the black/white color. They’re pretty comfortable but I’ve only worn them twice and they’re already starting to rip!! And I’ve only done a couple of Ollies and the laces are starting to rip. These shoes are more for chilling than skating. If you’re going to get these DON’T SKATE IN THEM!!

Leos are horrible, maybe if you want to skate in paper shoes its ok to have them.
Excellent board feel and great heel protection but the whole shoe is terribly too thin.
If you wear 11 get 10.5.

These shoes are too narrow. They are also way too thin, for a skate shoe. Also the toe cap has the worst durability I have ever seen on an Emerica shoe. If you want a thin shoe from Emerica GET THE REYNOLDS 3!

Leo Emerica -
These shoes were really bad and they ripped so fast that these shouldn't even be skate shoes. I've had better Emerica shoes like the Spanky's those were great they held up, they looked good, and they had good cushioning. Don't get these.

These shoes look fantastic and are comfortable, but they lasted me about two months before dying completely. The soles came unattached from the rest of the shoe. Never buying Emerica again.

First got the shoes and loved them, they were really comfortable and just felt great. About 2 months after I got them the bottom is almost completely peeled off and they wore down quick. Probably never buying emericas again.
