Most comfortable shoes he's ever worn! So stylish and goes with everything...jeans, slacks...shorts! They don't have to be sneakers to be comfy! Get these. Totally worth the money!

The bulbous look of the shoe in the pictures had me a little concerned, but the simplicity and reputation of these shoes led me to buy them. The upper was very comfortable, but I was surprised that the shoe initially lacked cushioning and had very little arch support. So given the fact that I did not break them in I give them a 4 for comfort. That and the fact that I was looking for a slightly more "dressed up" look, I sent them back.

Camper Pelotas are, unequivocally, the best shoes I've ever owned. I've purchased two pairs - one more than a decade ago - and both have proven to be durable and comfortable. I wore my first pair of Pelotas five times a week for ten years (and they're still in rotation!). They're indestructible...if you think Dr. Martens last forever, you're in for a huge surprise. Pros: Exceptional build and materials. The leather is supple and the stitching is top-notch. I've worn my Campers in sand and salt water. I've spilled gasoline on them. I've tromped through mud and left them in a hot car. You cannot wear these shoes out. The sole is likewise very durable. The signature Camper "bubble" tread takes awhile to wear in - for the first few months they are very slippery on wet floors - but ten years later the tread shows little evidence of wear. Cons: They tend to run a bit narrow for my taste. I order a size up to compensate and wear them with thick socks. The Peu Cami tends to run a bit wider, and is perfect to wear without socks. This may seem like a steep price for a pair of shoes. But you'll fall in love instantly and have them forever. Do it! Your feet will thank you. They deserve every accolade.

Best shoes I have ever owned, and I’ve owned Ferragamo, Cole Haan, Dr Martins, etc. I’ve had this pair for several years and they are best fitting shoes I’v e ever worn. They actual fit me better than my other four pair of Camper shoes because they are narrower, especially across the ball of the foot. Highly recommended.

Casual, Comfortable, and Cool - Comfortable. Not much arch support if that's a concern. I'm used to more arch support. After a few days my feet adjusted. Now my arches feel healthier. It is a very good feeling. Very casual and comfortable. A very cool look.

We had a bad experience with the Camper Pelotas. For full disclosure we bought it from a Camper Store instead of online. But we feel compelled to share our experience here because these shoes can be dangerous! On July 27, 2016, we purchased the product after being informed by a Camper staff member that the Pelotas Ariel is one of the most comfortable and best-selling walking shoes. We decided to purchase one pair first for my man to experience it. We were not informed of any potential issues in wearing these shoes. However, our experience with the Pelotas Ariel turned out to be a nightmare. The shoes tend to SUDDENLY BECOME EXTREMELY SLIPPERY once there’s any water on most surfaces. The second time he wore it, there were some water drops on a restroom floor, and the shoes suddenly became slippery as he tried to exit the restroom. The shoe slipped again as he walked out of the restroom towards the door when there were also some water drops on the floor. I then walked in the exact same spots and didn’t experience any particular slipperiness with my shoes (rubber soled sandals from Birkenstock). We realized that the slips were not coincidental, and concluded that the shoes probably should be returned ASAP. Thus we decided to walk to the closest Camper Store to return the shoes and to buy some other shoes. On our way to the shoe store, it started to rain. Suddenly, on a regular sidewalk his shoes lost traction and he fell on his back. I was walking besides him on the same surface and did not feel any slipperiness (nor did it seem to affect the many other people walking on the street that day). We discovered that the ball-shaped bubbles on the bottom could cause people to suddenly lose balance. In addition, when we searched Google with “Pelotas Ariel Slippery” as keyword, we found that this was actually a known problem. Due to the fall, he scratched his elbow and suffered multiple bruises on his lower back. The fall also caused significant damage to our property since they were in his backpack when he fell. After this we tried to find out the contact information of the Camper corporate headquarters and was told over their customer service line that we should submit a complaint over their website about the incident. However, we have never heard from the company in the next couple of months. When we called the company about our experience, every time we were told that someone will get back to us on the same day. No message or reply ever came from Camper. When we asked them about the corporate headquarters contact information (an email/phone number/mailing address), their customer service people told us either that they don’t know or that they could not pass the contact information of their employer. We could not believe that this is how an internationally famous company treats customers so we feel compelled to share here our experience about this brand of shoes and this company. Stay away from Camper Pelotas Ariel for your own safety and well-being!

Instantly comfortable, leather is soft, style is low key but original. I usually wear a size 10.5 and the 11 in these fits perfectly.

Extremely comfortable shoes. They hug the foot and provide great support. They are excellent walking shoes. Also they are made with tremendous care and last. The sole wears out long before the upper does. You can do little better than Campers.

I got these for my boyfriend. He is 6' 4" and wears a size 14 so many shoes in his size are heavy to walk in. He loves these shoes, says they are lightweight and a pleasure to put on after a long day of wearing heavy work shoes. I noticed that he doesn't wear his athletic shoes anymore when we got out for a walk. He has taken to wearing these most of the time. He likes the styling. Somehow they make his big (though narrow-ish) feet look small.

Great shoes... time after time - This is my fourth pair of Campers, and they are one of the most comfortable shoes I have owned. However, if you have big and flat feet, these shoes are not for you. They run a bit narrow throughout.

Owned a pair of these in 2001. I'm happy to see Camper is back on the scene. The quality of these shoes is top notch. Thin, soft leather that feels very nice to wear with no break-in period. Warning: very slippery on wet surfaces!

This is my 3rd pair of Pelotas. Excellent comfort and durability. I generally wear a size 10.5 running shoe and sometimes a 10 in casual shoes. Camper size 44 (11) are the correct fit for me. If you are in doubt on size go one size larger. I have found Camper sizing to be very consistent even between different model shoes.

I've been a Camper fan since I saw them in Tahiti in 1997, and although some of their other models can be a bit flimsy, the Pelotas is solid and comfortable. I've had three different versions (I do wish they would bring back the high boot version, my absolute favorite shoe of all time). This Pelotas version fits snugly but with lots of toe room. Its looks are unconventional dress-casual. Good for long urban walks.

I have owned the same pair of these shoes for 15 years. Extreme longevity with these guys. Comfort has sort of faded over time, but all that means is that I wear them less frequently. Quality material, quality construction, these shoes have been with me for 1/3 of my life, through many pets, 2 kids and 10 years of marriage.

So far, in the house, this shoe has the feel of ultimate comfort (hard to describe)...if these turn out to be as comfortable as they feel right now (and perfect fit to my ordinary size needs), I will be ordering other colors, if available. Thanks Zappos for making them available and for your fine, professional, service! As always is the case.

My husband loves these shoes. This is his second pair. He has crazy flat feet which results in lower back pain, and currently moved his desk at work so he stands literally all day long. He says these are awesome. Worth every penny, twice now!

This is my second pair of Camper shoes as my first pair is still holding up minus the sole wear. This is a well made quality shoe and it shows. What I love about this particular style is you can wear them with jeans or dress pants, they go with my whole wardrobe! I also like the fact that no one around me even knows of this amazing company so I am the only one for miles with these stylish shoes, yay!

I've been wearing Camper Pelotas for close to 20 years. They are always comfortable and perfect for everything from long walks to biking to work. A great, all around shoe that looks good with casual clothing without being as casual as a sneaker. I've gone on vacations where all I've taken is one pair of Pelotas and I've been able to wear them with everything. It can take a few days to break in these shoes, as the leather is stiff when they're new, but they break in nicely and feel very comfortable in no time at all. Easy to keep clean with a little neutral polish, too. I hope Camper never stops making these shoes!

Very comfortable shoes. This is my second pair. They look great and work well with my custom orthotics. My only complaint is that they squeak!
