I love the bag for the most part. There are a few short comings. The materials used are more for style than durability. Within 2 months, the computer sleeve ripped and the shoulder strap started to fall apart. In spite of the size of the bag it doesn't accommodate much cargo. The materials are all thick, and padded so even when empty it's hard to fit much inside it.

I bought this bag because it holds a 17" laptop and it looks cool. It holds my laptop just right. I have a big Studio 17 from Dell. The bag looks awesome and is very well made. BUT: I am not crazy about the latch systems. The front flap isn't easy to open. The shoulder straps have this pull tab that when pulled ejects the strap from the holder. Watch out the bag will fall. Also for storage, I'd like to see another compartment. I'd like to have a rear compartment for note pads and files. The quality and look I am very happy with. The use, I will learn to enjoy.

OAKLEY SI Laptop bag - Cool looking bag, I really like it but a few glitches though, the big strap buckles are really cool but easily accidentally disconnected, these should be the type used for the main top pouch. It is a hassle to get those loose down between the front pockets. The 3 side velcro straps are a real hassle to undo every time you need to drop the front of the bag but look terrible if left undone. The laptop compartment is way too slow to access. The square metal trim on the shoulder pad is hideous. The top handle is downright uncomfortable. At this price there should be no compromises. It is almost a little too paramilitary looking for office use but I like the uniqueness. And if I have to jump out of a plane on the way to work I'll be prepared! In spite of all that I still really like this bag for its uniqueness and looks, it gets a lot of comments. Do not get this bag if you don't want to draw attention.

This is a gorgeous bag: covered with pockets and loops and snaps and stuff. The metal hardware is butch and the overall vibe is one of grim determination. A few niggling points, though, that made me return the bag. First, it is huge! Like big, unwieldy, knock-people-over-on-the-bus huge. Because of its size, I always felt unbalanced when it was filled with my computer and stuff and it was hard on my back. The strap was too long, so even when I wore it over my shoulder and around my back to compensate for the weight, it whapped into my butt with every step. I ended up using the carry handle most of the time, which seemed to defeat the purpose of making it a messenger bag. Lastly there was so much space that I lost things in it: so many secret hidden concealed spots that it was easy to lose track of where I put stuff. That said, if you want a serious looking bag that means serious business this is a good choice. Hopefully you have a better back than I do!

This bag is gorgeous. Looks wise, and material wise, it's great. But, the strap! It has two adjustable settings: Long and very long. For someone of average weight, the top of the bag fell down below my left hip, and would constantly bang into me. And the only other setting would make the bag longer. If you don't care about this, buy this bag! And buy it from this company. They are amazing with returns, and offer very fast shipping.

The pockets and interior of this bag are accommodating and just what I need to stay organized. I was apprehensive of the decorative stuff, but it gets plenty of compliments. The dealbreaker: I'm 6'-0", and with the strap at its shortest setting, the top of the bag is level with my waist. At the longest setting the bottom of the bag is inches from the floor. It reduces my entire purchase to nothing more than a bad joke.

Let me start off with a few things. First of all I, have owned Oakley bags in the past, and they were excellent for quality. This bag, however, did not stand up to my expectations. This bag looks amazing, and it holds things great, however, the quality was unbelievably bad. I had the bag less than four months, and it was falling apart in multiple places under completely normal use. Unfortunately, that doesn't work for me in such an expensive bag, but Zappos was awesome enough to refund me. I can't at all recommend this bag to anyone.

Awesome bag, it is able to carry my brute of a laptop and all my accessories, with room to spare. Plus it just looks cool. My friends always ask me about it and several have purchased one for themselves. It's just a great bag.
