I bought these as a gift for a 16 year old girl and she loved them (she picked them out herself so I couldn't go wrong)! She said they fit great and are really comfortable.

These are super comfortable and super cool. It takes a certain person to rock 'em so they are not for the fain of heart. Velcro rules!

Fit perfectly, daughter loves them. Had traveled to too many Van stores, and they only had them in black. Thank goodness for Zappos! Thank you, and service is awesome.

I had been lusting after these shoes for a few years (it was the Velcro). My feet are slightly wide and these fit comfortably. Not the most supportive shoes, but still relatively comfortable and definitely better than Chuck Taylors. I can run around in these all day and my feet don't feel any worse for it. But most importantly, Velcro.

These shoes took a long time to break in. I usually wear some sort of flat Vans, but wanted something different. They actually hurt for a while on the sides where the holes for the strap are and near the front. I kept wearing them, though, and they're extremely comfortable now. Just had to get through that awkward phase! Also, I don't know if it's like this for everyone, but where the straps are longer than the velcro, the edges curl up a bit.

These look very good. And I love Velcro. They gave my feet some blisters near my toes. But that is OK. These shoes are not meant for hikes, just strolls.

New twist on the classic Vans. My daughter was concerned that they looked like Toddler shoes, but really, they look fresh.

These are great shoes. They look good, and feel good. They fit perfectly like every other pair of Vans that I have bought.

These are a little stiff to begin with, but they break in. My feet are average width, and I didn't have any trouble fully fastening the velcro straps. Appearance-wise they're exactly what I expected; I just wish there were more colour options.

They are indeed bulkier when you receive them, but after all, they are skater shoes. I have no problem getting the straps over all the way. Very nice shoes but you will need a couple days of breaking them in. Also I would recommend you buy these shoes a half size larger than your normal size. I was excited when people said they received their shoes in a couple days with the free shipping option, I too chose the same option but didn't receive mine until the full week. Well, it was free so I can't complain! Overall great service.

Awesome shoe. Great to wear with shorts. The velcro straps really come in handy for easy on/off wear. Just make sure you order a 1/2 bigger. I normally take a US 9.5 mens in Vans footwear; however, I needed to move up to a US 10 for a better fit. Unlike the slip-ons, these won't stretch no matter how long and hard you wear them.

These are so easy to wear, they go with everything casual and are easy to put on and not too flat if I'm walking too far.

This is my second pair and love them. Goes great with anything from jeans, shorts and skirts (yes skirts).

I love these shoes. This is my second pair. They are comfortable and stylish. Zappos was so convenient. The Vans store did not have my size and said it could be 1 to 2 weeks to get them in. Zappos had my size. I got them in a few days and I got free shipping!

Probably the best shoes I have ever owned. They are extremely comfortable (a bit stiff to begin with, but is expected) and extremely cool. I still get compliments wearing this bad boys around. And no laces, but still stay tight, which is a super bonus. If you have any hesitations, buy 'em, you won't regret it.

I love Zappos! I bought these yesterday at 3 p.m. and received them this morning at 10:30 a.m. They went from Kentucky to Oregon in like 8 hours last night, for free might I add. I really like these shoes. I ordered an 8.5 which is usually just fine, but these shoes feel unusually wide and about a half size too big and I own like 6 pairs of Vans. Oh well, I don't think a half size will be enough to send them back for and I can just tighten the velcro straps extra tight.

LOVE this shoe! Just got them in the mail and I'm gonna buy another pair just in case they stop making them. Not as stiff out of box as some were saying. They look awesome and I'm already getting compliments.

Vans has commissioned a fine shoe. I am not sure why this model called "Prison Issue #23." Is it made by prisoners? I doubt it. Surely it is mere coincidence that it's made in China. Whatever the name means, I love this sneaker. There is more than a hint of Chuck Taylor aesthetics but it still has a nice "Vans" feel along with some velcro. A+.

Love them! They are lightweight and great for breakdancing. I would recommend it to everyone. I get plenty of compliments, too.

Great shoes. Take a little while to break them in (I previously purchased a red pair and learned this quickly), so don't buy them with a specific event in mind if you don't have the time to break them in a little bit first. The soles of them are true to size, but the uppers do require some TLC. They are well worth it, though.

Got these for mom, who cannot handle tied shoes anymore. She loves them. Very good for those who need a flat, dependable sneaker.

Love Zappos! Always a shipping upgrade and free returns. What could be better? I rarely ever have to return anything! These shoes are my all-time favorite. They're comfy and cool looking. My daughter used to make fun of them until her friends started wearing them too!
