Finally a place to order extra wide shoes - My husband has a hard time finding extra wide shoes and we were so happy to find this site. He got the shoe and fit he wanted and Zappos.com shipped so fast.

Highly recommended - Excellent in all respects. Very stable and comfortable. Would recommend this shoe for any workout.

Service was amazing - ordered at 2PM one day and shoes arrived the next AM! I ordered the MX854s in (12N) and they were a bit snug in width initially (my shoe size is 12A), so anyone with a true B width may find the Narrow width very snug. They are considerably stiffer than other New Balance athletic shoes - the stiffness seems to be decreasing with additional wear, but still noticeably stiff - definitely not a running shoe! I have high arches and would prefer more arch support, but is acceptable as is. Good looking shoe - does not have the "orthopedic" look of many walking shoes. Will order another pair if stiffness continues to abate.

If The Shoe Fits! This was my forth or fifth time ordering New Balance shoes from Zappos and I am still amazed at how good the service is. I am a 60 yr. old male with diabetes and it is very important that my shoes fit properly and are comfortable. I have worn N/B shoes for several years now and they are my shoes of choice. Just can't beat the shoes or the service…

Great shoe and fantastic service! First time I have been able to find a 6E shoe for my extra wide feet. This shoe is perfect for my weight-training workouts, with a firm solid feel. Zappos service is second to none. The shoe arrived in one day, and although I am keeping these shoes, the return policy is the best I have seen on internet purchases.

Great Workout Shoe - Very high quality shoe with great fit and materials. Really liked the support for gym use doing weight-loaded squats and lunges. A bit stiff for running/treadmill work or aerobics, but otherwise great all around shoe. Expensive.

Great Shoe! I am a 285lbs. man that has a wide foot, and have been working out lately. I have gone through 2 pairs of shoes in the past 3 months due to the stress of losing 25lbs. At this weight, I tear up everything. However, after having these shoes for a month, not a sign of what I call the slouch that most of my shoes do, where the outside heels start to compress and cause me to tilt. The hard heels on these shoes are holding up great. Time will tell how they do.

New Balance stability shoes that have Rollbar with TPU post - I got my shoes on a Tuesday afternoon after ordering them on a Friday afternoon. They fit perfectly, very true to size. I ordered them for stability to see if I could wear them without my orthotic inserts, which I have worn now for two decades due to extreme pronation of my feet. Also my arches fell about ten years ago. My orthotics are built up a LOT on the inside of the device to compensate for the pronation. I have had the New Balance 854s about 2½ weeks now and have found them to keep my feet extremely stable with very little if any pronation. I have been able to wear them so far without inserting my orthotics in place of the removable insert that comes with the shoe. This makes wearing the shoe a lot more comfortable because this insert has some padding, whereas my orthotics do not. Plus this could save me about $400 if I don't have to go to a podiatrist and buy another pair of orthotics when these wear out, or at the very least send them in to get them recovered, which costs about $100. The New Balance Rollbar with TPU post technology is great. It does a great job of keeping my foot from pronating. I am going to order a pair of brown and a pair of black stability New Balance shoes to wear with slacks and jeans when the weather get cold. Right now I am just wearing my white New Balance 854s with jean shorts all summer.

NB Review - One of the better pair of training shoes that I've ever owned! I'm on my 3rd pair. Why switch when you've got something good. Works in the gym or as a walking shoe. Plenty of support. NB got it right.

Ron C from Bakersfield - Shoe fit right out of the box. That's a rare occurrence for me. Have walked several miles in them and they feel great. I would recommend them to anyone with wide feet like mine (EEEEEE).

I think this shoe is excellent all around. I broke my foot and know I need an extra wide shoe; 6e. I hope in the future you could have a larger selection of 6e shoes; maybe a golf shoe. Thanks for the great service.

Lower back problems alleviated - A physical therapist recommended going with a New Balance, "anything over 621," to help with lower back pain. To my surprise they seem to have helped. I've been wearing them about 3 weeks now and am very happy.

I bought this shoe for my son who is 13 years old. He was wearing the MX853 in a 6E wide and really liked them, but of course like everything else you like it gets discontinued so we decided to order these. He says they are little more stiff compared to the 853, but maybe they will come out of it he hasn't worn them very much yet, but we really haven't much choice given he has such a wide foot. He said that they weren't quite as wide as the 853 in the toe area. Zappos had our order to us the very next day after I ordered that was great.

Loved the shoe - I have come back to NB 850' series of shoe. I have tried NB cross trainer 300, 400, 600, 700 series, all do not compare to the 800 series. I had 851, 852, and 853 - just bought 854. Received them, took them out of the box, placed my orthodics in, and off I went. Great support, great fit, and great feel. I recommend them highly. As a matter of fact, I am going to buy a woman's pair for my wife.

New Balance MX854 - Great shoe. First time the width is actually right. I normally wear a 13, but ordered 14 so the width would be a little better. IF you have a width problem, order one size larger. This is not a problem in wearing the shoe. I ordered the 6E. Maybe even the sizes are actually one size larger than actual. Don't know. But neat shoe.

GR8! Great shoe. I've got a very narrow foot, so finding a shoe that fits properly is difficult. New Balance and Zappos makes it easy.

Good Shoe - I wear a size 17 and have difficulty finding shoes. I need to have a comfortable shoe as I am a Nurse in the OR and stand a lot! I have not been disappointed by NB yet. Shoe is just a tad narrow around the balls of my feet but break-in nicely.

They’re great - They were a little tighter than a normal narrow shoe. Which is great for me because my feet are more narrow than normal. A great fit!

NB-MX854 - Shoe is excellent for walking and comfort. Color combination could be better.

The best on-line stop for shoes - I recommend Zappos to anyone who is doing shopping for a regular foot or an unusual one like my choice--size 17 wide, wide, etc. Zappos comes first with me on customer satisfaction; timely delivery; product satisfaction; pricing and more of what we all want when we shop. If you are looking for any of these in your shopping experience--check with Zappos. I always do!

Comfort on the Run - A very stylish and comfortable shoe. New Balance comes with high recommendations from my foot doctor. The shoe fits true to size and is very comfortable with excellent arch support.

Finally a sneaker that fits - Tried many sneakers, but with very wide feet it's been difficult finding a fit. DSL-2 last fits me great.
