I own a pair of Dunham Burlingtons, and they've worked well for me. I haven't quite broken in the Battery Park Oxfords, but they are attractive and show every sign of being as comfortable and practical as the Burlingtons while being slightly dressier in style.

Great Shoe - I wear a 4E and have a high in step. This is the first time in a long time that a good looking dress shoe has fit to the point that I have room in a shoe. Delivery from Zappos can't be beat.

Classy Shoe - This is a classy shoe, that in my opinion could easily be worn either as a dress or casual shoe. In short, it is roomy, comfortable, supportive, and looks great. And the great price makes it a slam dunk! Why look anywhere else?

Great Fit - This is the most comfortable shoe that I have worn in my 54 years. Would recommend it to anyone. The only drawback that I can find is that it seems to scuff easier that other shoes I have worn. This shoe fits so well I find myself wearing it around the house rather than my sneakers.

Nice Looking shoe. Too wide. My foot slipped around inside. Had to return it. I may try a more narrow shoe next time.

Good Shoes - Overall a nice looking shoe. It is a very plain style but I have a narrow foot and am limited on my options for styles. The narrow width feels a little wide in the heel.

Nice shoe, not great - I've been wearing these for several days. They do require some break in; I thought they would be ready to go out of the box based on similar styles from other makers I've worn. The internal heel construction is a bit sloppy and is different in the right vs. left shoe, causing a slight bump in the left heel. They look great and are good for 'casual Friday' days and other times when you don't want a 'dress' shoe but don't want to wear tennis shoes either.

Excellent work shoe - This shoe is sized well and you can easily put in support orthotics if needed. The support is excellent and cleans up nicely.

Look great new - I love the way these shoes feel when I wear them, but I dislike how easily they scuff, and I have had no luck getting all the scuffs out. Other than that they are a great shoe.

Very good shoe - These shoes fit the bill! I added a tongue pad and heel pad, and that helped with a typical problem—riding up in the back as you walk (causes blisters). Simple solution for a few dollars. The only problem I've noticed is that the shoe doesn't breathe very well, so feet get a bit damp if you wear heavy socks or use a Dr Scholl’s insert. If you avoid those two things, it's not a big problem. Really, for the money, these look to be handsome, functional, long-lived shoes.

Not Bad. Not bad at all. This is a good shoe at a good price. It is indeed waterproof, and it takes a good Kiwi shine. The first week the back of my right heel got sore and I needed a gauze pad as a cushion. But I healed, the shoe "broke in" and it's fine now. I won't say it's like walking on a cloud, but it's certainly not an uncomfortable shoe. So that's it. Good shoe. Good price. You would not be wrong to buy this shoe.

Too wide - These were too wide for my husband, but they do look nice. We'll try a slightly narrower pair next.

Battery Park Waterproof Oxford - I was a great fan of the New Balance dress shoe/casual collections as those shoes had the comfort of trainers but with classic looks. This isn't up to that standard. The shoe is comfortable and provides good arch support but it has a clumpier feel than I would have liked and the styling could be improved to make the lines cleaner and more classic looking. However, it feels solid and is certainly waterproof.

NIce looking shoe that was too wide in the heel for my narrow foot. Very disappointing since I have several other narrow Dunham that don't present that problem for me. I thiink the shoe would have been comfortable except for the sliding up and down heel which would have worn out socks with every wearing. Zappos return was virtually painless.

These bad boys killed my feet !!! Nice looking shoes, rugged exterior, not built for comfort in the least.

Color was far from the picture. Color was a light brown I would call tan and not the dark brown in the picture that I really wanted. Also too big for its size.

One day after I bought these shoes I had an active day at work (walking around and standing for 4 hours). When I got home I realized I had developed blisters on my calf from the unlined edge of the shoe rubbing against them. As such I strongly suggest you reconsider purchasing this shoe.

very comfortable shoe

10.5 / 6E - sizing was consistent with other Dunham shoes I have had. They are a little stiff on arrival, so expect a break-in period. They are heavy shoe, but they give good support and inserts change out easily. I was on my feet for two days for a trade show last weekend, and was still able to go to dinner each night and be nice to people. That says a lot.

I ordered these for my husband and they are great. He requires a wide, sturdy shoe with good support, and this fills the bill perfectly. I ordered 1 pair each in brown and black for dress and nice casual occasions. He has already worn them a few times and found them comfortable without needing break-in time. Thanks.
