Before I can give a true review, I need to order a size smaller. It was definitely a size larger and wider than the usual Reef's I've worn in the past.

These are well made; however the material used is ‘stiff”. Gives NO cushion. It was like walking of a shingle of wood. Too bad. They look cool.

it’s a nice sandal, but the bottle opener at the bottom can be felt through the sandal. tbh I’m just waiting for it to rip through. when I wear them for too long my heels start to hurt as well..which I don’t have an issue with any of my shoes or sandals… this has better colors than the newest version, but the newer version seemed to be more comfortable. i will probably never buy a sandal with an opener again.. it’s a handy idea, but in practice it’s dirty af

These were smaller when placed side by side with the Reefs size Mens 11, than the same size purchased last summer. Too tight and had to return.

Bought these for my husband but he immediately rejected them because of the metal bottle opener on the sole. He feared once the sole wore down, the metal would scrape the ground. Style was nice, but the bottle opener is not for everyone.

had to return, I wear a 12 in every shoe and flip flop I own. These are more like an 11, even smaller than my last pair of size 12 reefs.

I am a true size 7 but these had to of been a 8 and too wide.

I ordered these to replace some that I'd had for forever but broke. I liked these because they look to be very well made and I really liked the style. Where I ran into a problem was not with the physical size of the sole, that was a good fit but with the top strap that hold them on. The strap that runs across the top of my foot was WAY too tight and it feels like it is a size too small. I only tried them on for a few minutes and the tops of my feet were starting to get sore. I took them off and tried them on again the next day and the straps were still cutting into the top of my foot. Looking at the material they are made of I don't think that the straps will stretch enough, if any. Never had this issue with this style of sandal before so I had to return them... but they do look awesome!! Pros: - Style and looks. - Seemed like decent arch support for this style sandal. - Nice thick sole with an air cushion for your heal. Cons: - Top straps seem to run small or are for someone with smaller feet. - The logo in the heal does feel a bit weird but I think it'd be find it you got used to it.

Too small so returned immediately. Very nice quality and this flip flop featured something unusual:- a built-in bottle opener on the bottom of the shoe. One pictures the trash on the ground (or more!) that the bottom of the shoe saw and then using it to crack open a beverage. Seems a bit unsanitary. Even if one could argue that it's not, it still feels icky.

The straps looked a little cheap in material made when in person verse online

Amazing Zappos service as usual. The Fanning is a cool looking sandal that I've mostly enjoyed. My friends' dog (Maybelline the pit-bull) chewed one of them up last weekend as we were sitting in a small inflatable pool, most likely inappropriate for 4 grown adults. Having previously owned 2 pairs of the Reef Rover, I was a bit disappointed. These flops have much less heel and forefoot cushion than I expected. The air unit is incredibly firm. Also, the bottle opener created multiple chips in the fireplace hearth in my house. I occasionally step on it heading towards the fridge for a cold one in a feeble attempt to ward off the effects of 2020. Naturally, I blamed several others for the damage until I sheepishly realized what had caused it prompting multiple apologies. Although I don't recall opening a bottle, I did enjoy the attention I received when folks commented on the bottle opener. "Hey cool, those have a bottle opener!", " Yep sure do!!!!! I do think they look awesome and were comfortable overall. At 6 months, the neoprene lining has begun to wear through as all Reefs do. The heel air bag was softer, but still fairly stiff and the soles and footbed still looked great. I ordered some new sandals to give another brand a shot, but I will continue to wear these gnarled, dog-chewed things until they fall apart. They match my face-mask and if you're reading this, you know that appearances have never mattered less than they do this year. Much like a pair of sandals, 2020 can't last forever. Hang in there folks......
