I bought this shoe because it reminded me of a Hush Puppy style that I loved some years ago. I was surprised to see that the box said that Soft Styles was a division of Hush Puppy! This is a great shoe for those of us who can not (or won't) wear high heels and need a dress shoe for career and office dress. It has lots of padding and is comfortable for all day wear. I bought a 9-1/2 Wide and found the toe area fit but the heel slipped so I added some gel like pads in the rear I got at WalMart and that worked like a charm! I did call Zappos to see what "Lamy" was exactly and got a velvet feel answer. I still wonder.

I've been wearing Angels for years. These are my high heel and my low heels. They look dressy enough and I do not plan to go back to a high heel that throws my spinal alignment off. I've had an old pair reheeled and use it almost over the new pair which I want to keep nice. I wore 9N for years, but about the time I needed bifocals, I discovered my feet needed more room. I moved to a 9 1/2N and now use a 10N. I find an insole helps in the toes. Narrow shoes are hard to find. Please do not stop making these. Bless you!

Very comfortable and true to size. I am able to wear these shoes all day and not have my feet hurt at the end. The only downside is that these shoes are not at all breathable, so my feet get hot on the warmer days. Would definitely buy more!

I needed shoes for a wedding fast...a friend told me to go to Zappos website and found these right away - the clerk was wonderful help and I had the shoes in 2 days. And they fit like a glove - and I wore them all night at the wedding. And I am very happy with them.

I got this shoe for my wedding. I had ankle surgery in the past and find it difficult to find comfortable shoes, let alone heels. These shoes feel awesome and I can stand in them for a long time without pain. They are a little bigger in length so I'm putting the heel inserts in but the width is perfect.

I ordered these for my 89 year old mother-in-law to wear to her granddaughter's wedding. They fit well. She has a narrow foot and was thrilled to have the Zappos delivered right to her door. She said they were comfortable, though wouldn't want to wear them to hike for miles. They looked very sharp with the rest of her outfit. She could pass for easily 10 years younger. She wore them around the house to break them in before the wedding.

Shoes are pretty comfortable.I wore them for 10+ hours with no problems of them hurting. Just enough of a heel to look nice if you don't like the look of flats. I would love to find more colors in this brand though such as yellow, pinks, blues, and greens!

These shoes are absolutely beautiful. A lovely, quiet shine and so comfortable to wear. So easy to walk in-- and this is coming from someone with problem feet. I will definitely be getting these in other colors!

I was excited to find a low-heeled pump when I found these. I ordered one pair (it arrived the next day which was great) and I proceed to buy two more pair in different colors. The fit was not perfect for me - a little tight - so they ran smaller than most brands I've purchased in the past. It has taken a few weeks of wearing but they are stretching out a bit. I probably should have tried the wider size but I was impatient for new shoes. These shoes were a great value and I love Zappos customer service.

I love this shoe. I have a very wide foot so I ordered more colors of this same style. Some I needed in the 7 and others fit better with the 7 1/2. It is a very comfortable shoe with a cushion sole.

Comfortable shoes! Based on others' reviews I went a half size up. Turned out I didn't need that. Fortunately Zappos makes it easy to exchange.

The padding in these shoes is totally insufficient. Instead of concentrating all of the padding in the ball of the foot area, it is spread very thin throughout the whole bottom. I needed to buy a pair of Dr. Scholls Extra Thick Foam Padded Insoles @ an additional cost to make these shoes somewhat comfortable and these innersoles will need to be replaced constantly. Also the soles of these shoes are made of some type of hard plastic that is very slippery and even after roughing them up on rough concrete I slipped and fell and am now going for therapy. I hope that some one listens out there to our needs. This style shoe is geared to the Baby Boomers; it's dressy without a high heel. Why can't this shoe style be designed better for comfort and safety? We Baby Boomers don't mind paying more, we have the money for comfort. Just make at least one style dedicated to us, in multiple colors and styles, with the same style toe and heel, in softer leather, so that we can use them for dress and professional occupations. We will buy them! We will tell our friends and family!!! Please just make them.

I was concerned about the shoe at first, it is not as flexible as it seemed in the video. I wore it around the house and while it's not wow this is comfy kind of shoe, it is super classy. Recommend for wearing it half-day at work, then slip into something more comfortable. But I'm almost 55 and well beyond the grin and bear it stage of my life!

WIDER, SHORTER - The overall feel of the shoe is okay. For a size 7, it is 1/2 size longer than I had anticipated and a little tighter on the toe side. In hind sight, I probably could have returned this one for a 6 1/2 WW but wasn't sure if the toe (front of shoe) would be narrower as well.

Customer care review - The shoe was too small and narrow and cut too low on the front. The shoe hurt my feet while walking in them. I feel I needed a wider shoe and one that was not cut so low and and narrow around the toe region.

The toe is very small I ordered an Extra Wide, but the shoes were very narrow- especially in the toe area.

Size is exactly what I normally where. I needed these as khaki uniform shoes for the US Navy aviator brown heels and these hit the mark. They are slightly darker than the brown Oxfords, but they were the best I could find. The insole is slightly funky, I think it is meant to be arch support but it feels uncomfortable. I may need to cut it or find a different insole. But for the price and what I needed, they are great.
