Great edges and heel make the shoes good for sport and gym climbs; the standout here is the downturn though. Very downturned makes picking out pockets and clinging to the wall on overhung routes much easier than with my previous shoes. There is a ridge on the front portion of the ball of the foot that arches the toe, and focuses even more power on you toes. You can really feel the heel and arch of the shoe pull when you pressure down with your toe. The whole shoe is designed for an advance climber who wants to stand on dime sized edges. Works great, can be a bit hard on the foot (especially at first) though.
I'd also recommend:
Miura's: same feel, not quite as aggressive and a bit more comfortable.

Powerful shoe for powerful climbers -
Great shoe, super technical shape, sucks itself to your foot. It will stretch a lot (almost as much as a Mythos), so fit it small and suffer for a week until it forms to your foot.

I'm very picky with climbing shoes, but this one is very good! My heel doesn't slip and it has a really nice nose. I climb very often, around 5 or 6 times a week. That's why my shoes only lasted for a half year, but I orderd new ones just jet! I would recommend it to professional climbers and people with narrow feet.

Ok- This is going to be a simple review. This shoe is one of the best high performance shoes of all time. Don't use it on easy terrain but if you want a Ferrari this is it. The best limestone or steep sport shoe ever made. Nuff said!

If this shoe fits your foot, then it is a must-have in the quiver. Somehow they are sensitive and powerful. Put these on and you will crush.

Best climbing shoe of all time. Period. Incredible heel for a narrow heel profile, P3 platform for edging in the steepest caves, and powerful on vertical terrain if needed. I've never climbed in such a dynamic and brilliantly created shoe!

An absolute classic, and one of the best built shoes of all time in my opinion. I size mine the same as a Solution and my Skwama. For steep climbing on all rock types these things kick ass - they can smear and edge, grab and push. The only thing is that it won't perform like a Skwama, Genius or Solution for the toe hooks! Try them, you will be sold!

I love these shoes! Beautiful design, soft and overall very worth the price for high quality climbing shoes. I was hesitant to buy the Testarossa because they are expensive and did not know how they would fit if I bought them online. I tried on the Miuras for a size comparison and decided to go with a whole size down in US sizing because natural leather technically stretches a full size. They were painful at first when I tried them, but now that I am breaking them in more and molding to my feet - they are amazing climbing shoes. I love them!!! Very happy with my purchase.

GREAT shoe. Edges fantastic. Steep terrain? No problem. Heel hooks? Easy. I've got wide feet and haven't had much luck with many La Sportiva models, but the low toe lacing allowed the toe box to expand nicely and fit my hobbit feet. Very little stretch, maybe a 1/4 size. Not great for toe hooks, but not many heavy down turned shoes are. Overall, I really like this shoe. Getting mine resoled.

I think the Testarossa is a great shoe for someone with a wider foot. The combination of the lacing and the leather allow the fit to be customized to any foot size though someone with particularly narrow feet might find them a bit boxy. They have great sensitivity so I really like them for steep climbing and gym climbing.

Great for pockets and bigger edges. If you like to feel what your foot is on, this is the shoe for you. If you have a high arch and a narrow foot these shoes will become your best friend. It could feel really tight and uncomfortable for somebody with a wider, flatter foot.

The Testarossa is my all time favorite shoe. Stripped of all padding, lining, and extra seams, the Testarossa fits my foot like a glove, which is difficult to find for my narrow feet. I feel like I have a ton of precision with this shoe because of it's minimal nature. If you don't like a soft shoe, the Testarossa probably isn't your best choice, but for strong feet this shoe is perfect. The only terrain I wouldn't wear my Testarossas on is anything under vertical, but for steep climbing of any sort, this shoe excels.
