Beautifully designed backpack! It is rugged, spacious, mostly waterproof, incredibly durable, and best of all it's awesome! I use it as a school pack, also a snowboarding pack for day trips, and even bringing climbing sometimes, overall great bag and can be used for anything.

Superb quality out of the box. Would benefit from addition of elastic bands to secure excess shoulder strap lengths. Looking forward to field testing.

Absolutely love this thing. It can literally fit the whole kitchen sink. Great for stuffing my laptop and books with hardly any feeling of the bag being heavy. The weight distribution of the bag is flawless. Just yesterday packed the whole thing with my entire lunch box full of paints, paper towels, illustration boards, and water. Had no problem walking with it. The only gripe is the way in which everything zips open. All the zippers are situated to zip down so it can be awkward opening and closing, but this makes it a lot more secure than traditional backpacks. The side zipper for the laptop is super convenient also.

I'm totally loving the bag! I'm a doc student so I have to carry a huge amount of materials (books, binders, laptop, etc.) to school every day. Not only do these materials fit wonderfully, but I can store all my gym clothes and sneaks in the bottom pouch. The bag fits comfortably so it is no problem when I'm riding my bike or on the metro. I'm also a frequent weekend vacationer, and this bag is the perfect size for a weekend get-away. The top flap is somewhat cumbersome, as it does not stay open easily. I'm somewhat nervous that by bending the top of the bag backwards too often that it'll diminish the quality. Overall, though, I'm very psyched to have gotten the bag.

Oakley Nails It! I waited a long time to be certain I really wanted a $175 backpack. I needed a business solution to provide function, comfort and maybe a visual statement. I got all that and way underestimated the visual impact- it gets noticed! Most of us haul a lot of heavy crap in a briefcase with soft handles and a too thin shoulder strap. This backpack makes much more sense- it has ergonomic features to make impossibly heavy loads easier on the back and arms. It is far better designed than any other case or BP I've looked at or tried but then again, that's kinda how Oakley rolls isn't it?! I haul a 15" mac in a sleeve easily and well protected. There is room for everything and expansion options nothing else comes close to. I need to also mention how great the Zappos team is to work with. I am completely satisfied with the entire experience which is why I took the time to write this to share with others.

Eye catching bag - Just love it. Gets attention that's for sure. Fits all my books, and laptop, but the more you put in logically the heavier it gets, but put it on your back, very comfortable even with heavy books. I worry about the quality of the inside lining. I'm not sure if the inside stands up to its high price. The hard case and back collects lint like a magnet, and hard case makes it tough to access the large pocket, keeps trying to close. The clips and metal look heavy, but they’re not, that's a plus. The large front clips pull open with red tabs so easily and is so impressive.

We are just returning our Oakley Kitchen Sink. The reason for this is the "lid". It doesn't stay open by itself, so when you are trying to fill the backpack you have to somehow try to hold it open which is very awkward and annoying. Otherwise, the bag is awesome, very nice quality, tons of pockets. Loved the compartment for putting your wet stuff, that you could fill from the bottom of the bag.As always, great service from Zappos people; always talk to you with a smile in their voice. Love that!

Very sturdy and very roomy. Love all the pockets and compartments. Zippers are very strong. The main compartment has a smaller mouth than you might expect, but this hasn't been a huge problem. Everybody tells me howuch they love this backpack...never really thought of a backpack as an attention getter before.

For a backpack called the kitchen sink it rocks! I used it for the first time thanksgiving weekend to fly home. I had my 17 inch laptop in it and all my things to travel with plenty of space. It has the best set of shoulder straps i have ever used. The overall design is just what you would expect from Oakley, no short cuts! Very satisified with my purchase and top notch service from Zappos!

It's a lot of well positioned pockets, and I like the bottom pocket which keeps the backpack from ballooning out of shape when traveling.

I freaking love this backpack! It literally does live up to it's name, I have thrown damn near every thing into this bad boy and it just takes it! I have had mine for 3 glorious years and I am looking forward to more years of use!

This is a great find! I am not a back pack kinda guy but, when I realized I can haul my iPad, 15" laptop, all my cords, chargers, clothes for a night or two plus a hard pouch for sunglasses and lined area for wet clothes, someone stop me...this bag has replaced my computer bag and overnight bag! I can travel with one bag now and carry over my shoulder. I was always the guy going into a meeting with too many bags and could never find anything, all that has changed. I would recommend this back pack to anyone who needs the space and pouches for different items and by the way, it looks better in person than it does in the photo. Do yourself a favor, save the agony and grief of shopping around and looking for the right bag, this is the only bag you will need.

I have had a lot of Oakley bags and this one has been my absolute favorite! It has such a unique design and is very functional. I use it for work, school, travel and the outdoors. It really works for everything! I woudl highly recommended this!

This backpack is great for the road warrior. Good build quality and functionality. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is due to the lack of an external water bottle pouch (a "must have" for frequent flyers). I love all of the other hardware & features.

This pack seems to almost have too many options, some hooks I can't even imagine a use for. It is comfortable but I deducted a star due to the ease of access to the inside of the bag. The pack is sturdy, well made, nice looking and gets a lot of compliments.

Had this bag less than 4 months and the shoulder strap threads began unraveling. Overall it was a decent bag but it's much more style than substance. The overhead flap is heavy and awkward, and the front panel is difficult to access when the bag is full. I'll be returning it.

I don't like it. Here are a few hints why: My 17" laptop does not fit because the openings are too small on both the top and side. I have to force it in. Once inside, it fits well. Shoulder straps are uncomfortable and set too far apart. It will not stay on my shoulders unless strapped. The lower compartment snap broke on the first use. The backpack hangs so low on my back it actually pulls me backwards. My back started hurting. One of the quick release latches for the main lid lasted one day before it started malfunctioning. It has lots of compartments, but not one of them to put a pen. In short this is a stuffing backpack. It is not build for books. I mean they fit in there, but they are not right in there. Do not buy this for college unless you just want to look good. It is not practical. I will stick to my swiss-gear cheapo...
