Great boots - I'm a UPS driver and I am very picky about my shoes since I'm on my feet all day. These shoes were great right out of the box! No painful break in period I wore them the fist day for 10 hrs. I'm thinking of buying another pair in brown to switch back and forth to get more wear out of them.

Keens are the BEST! This is my third pair of Keen's and they did not disappoint this time! I first bought the brown waterproof leather shoe-sandals that they don't make anymore, then bought the Newport sandals and they both have been the most comfortable, durable shoes I have ever purchased! They don't need any breaking in at all, and the water-proof material with the durable soles are the best. This time I have tried the Brooklyn Mid shoe-boot in the brown waterproof suede and as always ordered a 1/2 size larger than usual which are always a perfect fit for me. They came sooner than the time given, and upon trying them on they looked and felt great. I don't agree with the person on here that complained about them not being a good hiking boot because they are NOT hiking boots! They are fashionable shoe-boots for walking and would be good for cold weather, but they are not made for hiking, that is definitely apparent from the start. They are well made, very light on your feet but are still durable enough to wear on the tough NYC streets and also the worst NYC winter rains and snows. Keen has always come through for me and I will continue to be a loyal customer! They are worth every penny!

Love Keen shoes - This maker tops them all. I love a wide toe box, sturdy arch support and overall toughness. I stand all day and these are perfect.

Mail carrier's dream - Comfortable right out of the box for six-hour walking mail route. Long lasting, really waterproof. Great for orthotics users. My favorite work shoe ever.

Quality construction and incredible fit - This is my first Keen shoe and I am very pleased. It is well made, buttery soft leather, stout stitching, and durable sole. I love its looks. Best of all is the anatomic fit. Why shoes weren't always built anatomically is beyond me. Lightweight, incredibly comfortable, and nice looking. What more can I say?

Smaller than sized - Great looking, good quality. Just a bit smaller than expected. Order next size up.

A Smart Purchase! I was interested in this boot because I felt it would work in the warmer months while riding my motorcycle and yet be stylish enough to wear while trollin' for babes. My foot measures 11.5 on the standard foot measuring device. My foot width is D. I had called Zappos sales to get an idea of the exactness of fit, because frankly, I get a tad annoyed when I have to return a product for exchange. The rep recommended to try the measured size, 11.5 D, first. I received the boots. I attempted to insert my foot in the boot, but it did not fit all of the way in. OOPS! Forgot to remove the packing paper in the toe area. Duh.. Well, I slipped my foot inside. The fit was perfect! The boot is so light, and yet solid. The style.. amazing and comfort like a sneaker.. The boot works well with casual or dress jeans. If you like the Keen design concept and style, BUY THIS BOOT!

Comfort Right Away - Keen shoes have always impressed me with their comfort and durability. Yeah, the toe might look funny, but they are among the most functional and comfortable shoes I have ever purchased. These Brooklyn Mids are no different! Now I own the sandals, the flip-flops and the Brooklyns. My whole life is Keen!

So Comfy! My wife bought these for me as a birthday gift. They are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned!

Comfortable casual shoe- This is the first pair of Keens that I have purchased. I am pleased with them. They are well made and very comfortable. Beware that if you are use to accurate sizing of your shoes (high end or dress shoes) you need to increase your size by 1/2 or you toes will be to close to the end of these shoes. They are sized in the same manner as Dr. Martins and Nike.

A winner - I was looking for a good all weather boot when I came across the Brooklyn Mid, and man am I happy. This is my 4th pair of Keens, and they never disapoint. The Brooklyn is very, very comfortable - a great all around walking boot.

Another Winner! Every time I purchase a new pair of Keens, I think I am up to 6 pairs now, I think this is better looking and more comfortable than the last... but this is really a GREAT boot. It looks and feels so great. I just purchased another pair in black... Keens are the number 1... And so is Zappos... fantastic products and fabulous service, the ONLY place to purchase shoes, as fast as going to the mall and coming home with them. BUY these!!!!

The best- These are the second pair of Keens that I have ordered and gotten from Zappos. I don't know what I like best, the shoes are the great service from Zappos, but anyway the first pair was the Boston and now the Brooklyn mid. Man these shoes are great. If you’re looking for any shoe in this type, be sure and order these.

Keen comfort without the crazy center seam! I've been a Keen fan for 2 years now and this is my favorite so far. They are rugged, but not too aggressive for everyday wear. Very waterproof. If you only own one pair of shoes the Brooklyn Mid should be it!

Great Shoe/Boot- Two days after buying these shoes, I wore them on a ten day trip to Paris. They were the only shoes I brought and even after walking hours all over the city, I did not have any blisters and my joints and feet felt good. The inside leather is extremely soft and the construction very rugged.

Keen quality with a more mainstream style- This is the fourth pair of Keen’s I've bought in the past year. Nice rugged boot that's not as "funky" as other Keen styles. Lightweight and comfortable. Waterproof is always a plus. Typical with Keen is watch out with sizing as you might need a half-size larger.

Happy feet- Hats off to Keen! I have had back and ankle problems and because of the foresight of construction on these shoes I can wear them all day without complaint. I now own two pair of shoes and two pair of sandals. I only wish they would make a golf shoe. An improvement I would suggest would be to seal the tongue to prevent water leakage. I couldn’t be happier with Zappos lightning service and customer support team. Most companies and governments should use you as a model!!! Thanks big time, Len... PS- order 1/2 size larger for comfort.

Keen Shoes - The shoes are wonderful. I like the comfort, fit and construction of these shoes. I appreciate the shoe manufacturer didn't put a deep lug sole that will hold mud,dirt and debris. They are also light weight and do not feel like concrete blocks on your feet. If you are marginal on buying a half size - opt for the bigger size as these shoes are sizes exact.

RC in Dallas - When it comes to looks, you know what you are getting into when you buy these shoes. They're funky looking, but they just might make you look cool. But let me tell you about the comfort. Right out of the box these felt wonderful. They may be the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. I just came back from a long football weekend with lots of walking and constant standing. My feet never tired. Running shoes don't feel this great. I ordered a half-size larger and wear nice and thick socks. This was my first pair of Keens, but I plan on trying more. The comfort is amazing, and I hated for the weekend to end. Not just because I had to go back to work, but because I have to wait five days to wear these boots again.

Love this boot - Great mid height boot that's comfortable and supportive. It looks good with shorts or with khaki's so it has a versatile look too.

Comfort on Keen Brooklyn Mid - I waited a while for Bronx Mid, but found this one day. Not bad looking shoe. Very comfortable! Remember to order a half size larger than your normal size. Keen's the best! Zappos customer service is top notch also!
