I usually wear a size 10 in boots. I ordered the 10 but my toes actually touched the end in stocking feet so they were just too small. Unless your plan is to wear these boots barefoot, I suggest ordering up half a size. Unfortunately they don't make a 10½ so I had to get the 11.

Very comfortable but not so easy to put on & take off. Also runs a bit small, unlike some other Uggs. I ordered in my regular shoe size but returned for a half size larger.

I moved back to NYC recently and wanted to be prepared for the East Coast winters, so I started looking for a pair of winter boots that would keep me warm, be good for snow, and look cute with regular outfits (i.e., not just a heavy duty winter snow boot). I'm a big fan of Uggs and loved the look of these, but had read that the sizing was off, so I ordered three pairs: my normal size (7.5), half size up (8), and full size up (8.5). The 8.5 were way too big. 7.5 felt great in terms of width, but were definitely too short in the toes, which would have been very uncomfortable since these won't stretch like regular all-suede Uggs (which I buy in size 7). 8 was perfect in length, but were considerably wider than the 7.5, which was frustrating - I had to cinch the laces much tighter at the top, and they still buckle a little in the ankles (although I do have small ankles, thin legs, and regular-to-narrow width feet). I decided to keep them anyway, because I couldn't find another pair of winter boots that fit all of my criteria as well, but that's why I gave them 4 stars instead of 5. I ordered a pair of Ugg insoles (in size 7 - the 8 didn't fit inside a size 8 boot), which help the foot area fit more snuggly, and that also allows me to wear them barefoot sometimes, but most of the time I wear a sock of normal thickness with them. If I ever wanted to wear a very thick sock with them (e.g., if I put them on after skiing or if it were REALLY cold out), I could take the insole out and the width would probably fit well. If you can find a size that works for you, these are super cute boots that work great in snow (I popped the tops up in our recent blizzard, and they kept my feet totally dry and warm!), and also look cute with skinny jeans. Since Zappos makes it easy to order and return, I'd recommend starting with your standard size, and also trying one half size up, and maybe even a full size up if you tend to be between sizes, to find the best fit.

As mentioned in other reviews, these boots do size small- I am normally a 7½, got the 8 and when I first wore them, I could feel the top of my big toe pressing against the tip of the boot (toes at the sides felt fine though). I debated whether to get the 8½, but after a week's use, the boots seem to fit better now - probably because I have tamped down the interior lining a bit, thereby giving me the extra fraction of an inch of breathing space my big toe needed. Overall, these are very comfortable, stylish and sturdy shoes - just get at least half a size larger than usual (or forget about wearing thick socks)!

These pair of boots are great quality just right out of the box, they are nice looking and strong; however, they did not feel comfortable. I ordered a size 8 and my feet did not fit comfortably, so I exchanged for an 8½ and unfortunately my feet feel to tight at the front of the boot, I do have chubby feet. Unfortunately, I will return them and keep looking for a different style Thank you, Zappos, for the great service!

Beautiful boot. Love the removable footbed. However, I cannot keep this because the back of the collar hits my leg in an awkward place. It is very uncomfortable, even when I loosen the laces.

I have a high arch. The North Face Chilkat 400: size 8.5 I couldn't get it on my foot. The Pajar Canada Alice size 39M went on but was too tight. The Columbia Bugaboot Plus III Omni-heat size 8B was too stiff and dug into my calf. The Keen Durand Polar size 8.5B felt good but the heel was square and so was not comfortable for walking. I have had the Adirondack size 8B on for a couple of hours in the house and they feel good.

Look woodsy on The size fit fluctuates with Ugg boots by the style. With these had to exchange the 7 boot for a 7 1/2. My shoe size is 6 1/2 M. After the aggravation of the exchange, another errand to drop off at UPS, the boots get a 4 star review. I do wish Uggs would uniform their sizings. I wear a 6 in their Classic suede pull-on boot!

Thought I'd splurge on these beautiful boots, but alas, maybe it's because I'm old - 61 - and arthritic, but it felt like I was wearing a pair of cement shoes. I'm sure a young person would love them, and they are warm, just not for me. Sigh.
