If it ain't broke, don't fix it! Until I bought a pair of 2110s, I felt I had no reason to subscribe to the common adage in the title… not when it came down to contemplating the purchase of a new pair of shoes anyway. I bought these back in early '06 and was hesitant to critique them until I felt they had demonstrated their usefulness or lack thereof over a reasonably extended period. I initially bought a pair of 2090s in '04 because they looked cool (something different than the status quo white running shoe) and because they had received good reviews from other owners. The 2090s held up well to the rigors of everyday casual use, regular treadmill running, and weightlifting. I replaced them mainly for cosmetic reasons. I was so impressed that I bought a pair of 2110s (the successor to the 2090 series). I had never bought a pair of shoes that were the same as the pair that they replaced until I tried these out. After an illness over the winter, I put on a few pounds and decided that I was going to try something different; let's see how well these perform if I exclusively ran for fitness (after all, they're running shoes). I started running on pavement and trails instead of the treadmill and was averaging 30-40 miles per week. Months later and following a race that I had completed in better time than I had estimated, the shoes were beginning to look a bit aged from all the dust and sweaty foot funk that I had subjected them to. I decided to replace them with a new pair of 2120s which I planned to use the majority of the time; for beach running or trail running, I'd stick with the old ones (2110s). Well, I still have 'em, they still work well, and MORE IMPORTANTLY... my knees, hips, feet, and ankles bother me MUCH less following a run than they did years ago when I was younger (sometimes not at all, seriously!) albeit with different brands. These are the best shoes that I've ever owned and I'm simply sold on them.

Great shoe, just not available for sale online - Great shoe and needed to replace my current 2110. Credit card ready, but shoe wasn’t available for D width. Bizarre as that is the most common choice. Zappos tried to recommend that I go with a wider shoe to get the sale. Not a good idea for the runner, maybe good for Zappos.

Great Running and Workout Shoe - Great shoes for running or walking for a great Zappos price compared to a local sporting goods store price. Great Zappos service as well, ordered one day, they were here the next.

White/orange/silver, size 12 - I purchased these because ASICS have always felt comfortable on my feet. They are great on the treadmill, grass, or pavement, providing good traction and comfort. I have always thought that running shoes were a little on the unattractive side, but these look great too.

Feels great - I have had at least 10 different pairs of Asics shoes. The 2110's I bought are very comfortable. They felt great from the first time I put them on.

Comfortable, feels like walking on a bed of pillows! One of the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I use it for running on a daily basis, this shoe provides great comfort. It has excellent arch support and feels great when running. This brand will be my running shoe brand for years to come!

Luv this Freak’in Shoe - I discovered the Asics 2100, bough a pair of the 2110, and can’t wait to get some 2120’s. I can’t say enough good things about this shoe. Excellent arch support, comfortable as can be, and plenty of room in the toe box area. I can run, walk, or just chill in these shoes. The style and look is excellent as well. I definitely would recommend this shoe for heavy runners and runners with wide feet. As long as they make this shoe I’ll keep buying them.

Great Shoe - Great shoe; got rid of all the pains in my shins, knees, hips, and blister problems. Highly recommended to serious runners!

Hard to beat - I've worn Asics for a number of years now, and the GT 2110 is another success. It's a good shoe for mid-pronators and has good cushioning. For Asics, the styling on this is pretty good, especially compared to some of their others.

Great value and comfort - This is my third pair... they're great!

One month of use. About a week to break in at 3miles a day. Very comfy. Support for the entire foot. I love this shoe.

Asics 2110 - Perfect Shoe - I have owned 6 or 7 pairs of this shoe line. I think it started with the GT 2000. For me, this shoe provides maximum comfort but is also light enough to do some serious running. More support than the Gel Kayano (and more weight). If you are over 170 lbs and run 3-5 times a week, this is the shoe.

Great shoe that helped eliminate bone spur pain - My husband has a bone spur, and when he wore these shoes for the first time to work, he was pain-free his whole shift. He likes that they are light-weight, but have enough support so that his feet hasn't hurt since he got them. He's very happy with them, and we were so pleased to receive them so quickly from Zappos! He wants his next pair of shoes to be another of the same, and from Zappos again. We're very satisfied customers!

Very Nice! These are great looking shoes and very comfortable. Also very breathable. I have had lower back problems for several years and rely on a good pair of shoes in my walking routine. I definitely recommend this style.

I've been running in these shoes for little over a month and I think they're great. I like the way they look as well as the very comfy ride.

Asics GT-2110 - I have worn Asics GTs for running for at least the last 7 years. For my money they are the best combination of value and comfort. I'm a heavy runner (200lbs) who gets knee pains once the heel cushioning breaks down and the Asics GTs provide long lasting cushioning. In that price range I don't think there's a better running shoe on the market.

Great Shoe, Bought 2nd Pair! Shoe fit great and felt great. Nice arch support. I ordered a 2nd pair while they were on sale! One for everyday, the other to workout in.

Great Shoes! I'm an Asic's kind of guy so these shoes were right up my ally. I was a little hesitant to pay the money for them but they were worth it. I use them just for my cardio workouts and they are great. They breathe amazingly well. You can’t go wrong with them.

Very Satisfied - You can never go wrong with any Asics running shoe. The support and comfort while running has been a lot better since I switched to Asics 8 years ago. 16 pairs later and still satisfied!

Wear rate for 2110 - I weigh about 215 and wear the 2110. I run about 10km 4 times a week. This shoe was great for about 4-5 months, after which I began to have some minor knee pain flair-up. When I bought a new pair, the pain went away. Expect this shoe to wear fast if you are an average to heavy runner with normal to slight over pronation.

A good shoe - I've bought four pairs, and used them for two marathons. So far, they're the only shoe that I haven't been injured in running long distances. I use SuperFeet in them. Great pavement/dirt road shoe, terrible for trails however.

Great Shoes!!! These shoes were a gift for my husband as he is in the military and an avid runner! He loved them and wears them every day. Thank you for a great purchase.

The gift that keeps on giving - I am on my fourth pair of this shoe and I love it. I am 6 feet, 170 pounds and run about 35 miles a week. I have had zero issues with the shoes. They maintain great support and comfort for as much as 450 miles, and have caused me zero blisters. Hopefully they will take me to my first sub 3 hour 3 minute marathon in one month! Totally recommend the shoe and Zappos!

Great Shoe! My wife bought me these shoes. I have really bad shin splints since my last knee surgery. After 3 years, I'm finally able to run again relatively pain free. Going to buy another pair!
