These shoes are fresh! This is my second pair of Telfords, and I think they are some of the most durable, comfortable, and stylish kicks around.

These are great shoes. I pretty much immediately laced them in neon and added gel pads to increase comfort. The tongue isn't as thick as I would like it to be, but they are very comfortable and have great ankle support. The style is excellent and I haven't had any issue with the soles. A great looking shoe and a great buy!

I'm not a skateboarder. I'm a fifty year old guy who always wore whatever high-top white tennis shoes that happened to be on sale at "Big Five" under a pair of blue Levi's and a long sleeved T-shirt. The new girlfriend convinced me to stop being so dull, and we found the Lakai Grey Suede shoes that instantly became my everyday favorites. The third day I wore them, a couple of guys in their early twenties stopped me in front of Safeway to ask me what brand they were and where I bought them. That's the first time in my life that a stranger complimented my shoes when I was just walking down the street. And that's a true story! And yes, since then, I've added 2 more pairs of Lakai Telfords to my wardrobe.

A match made in heaven! Its comfortable, has grip (I longboard), and goes well with my "blue" shirts (I bought the Blue/Black Telfords). Everywhere I went people where checking out my kicks - some even had the 'I want steal those shoes off this kid' look! LOL. But overall, very pleased with the purchase and exceptional service always with Zappos.

Good shoe for skating and they're comfortable. They have really good ankle support, but I’ve only had them for a short time and I don’t know how long they’re going to last. Overall I think if you want them you should just buy them – they’re worth it.

Absolutely wonderful -
I got these and was a little unsure at first put them on walked around and was pretty eh... after a day or so they were PERFECT the mid top is a bit weird feeling at first but its great once you break in. They also last a pretty long time... the suede lasts much longer than most other skate shoe suede. Excellent lace protection, until those things fall off but it's still pretty hard to break laces. If you are buying these for your kid and your sick of them ripping shoes so fast tell them to stop doing kick flips so much. Overall these are really comfortable, last a long time, and are just great shoes... a little pricey but TOTALLY worth it. Don’t hesitate.

Great shoes... have the best flick, board feel and look of any shoe I have had. The only 2 bad parts are the sole on all of them except the red ones and blue ones wear down super fast and they rip kinda fast... other than that they are great floor any skating style.

Lakai Telford, Black/White- I loved these shoes they were so great. This was my first Hi-Top shoe and I loved it. They were so comfortable and I loved the look. So did all of my friends...I impressed them so much. I wore them with the tongue out to give it an "old-school" look. Buy these shoes before everyone else does!!

Second pair now, after a hard knock on ankle started using Mids and these are hands down best out of all Mids you can get. So right up, also comfortable as all hell; ten out of ten and protection is prob eight out of ten. Took me about two months for them to rip. So a must buy for all skaters.

I got these after a pair of Fallen Chiefs and they are amazing to skate in. The ankle support is really good and they have a good shape for flip tricks. They break in really fast and as long as you Shoe Goo the stitching they should last awhile...I’d at least try them.

Are these good?
I hurt my knee and the doctor said to lay off it. These high tops should help because more ankle support means less knee work, which I need. So as soon as I can skate, I'm going to get these. I can tell from all the reviews they are GREAT.

Well I don’t even know where to start with this shoe. It is absolutely, hands down the best skate shoe I’ve ever had. I rolled my ankle very badly in a pair of eS Accels. I couldn't sk8 for a couple months. It was awful! Then I bought these shoes and I was doing tre flips the first day I got them despite my injured ankle! No joke. Buy these shoes!!!! Now.

Seriously, best shoe I've ever bought. They take about 3 days to fully wear in even if you wear them all the time. They might hurt a little the first day but once they've formed to fit your foot they are perfect. Super comfortable if you don't like the look at first it will grow on you, looks great with anything and stay together for a while as long as you don't treat them horribly. Don’t waste ninety bucks on Dunks, spend seventy on these, they'll last longer and don't get that torn apart look that Dunks do.

I liked the shoe it is a bit hard to heel flip in though. It has amazing padding and I haven’t rolled my ankle once. No matter what you skate this is the shoe for you. If you don’t skate don’t buy skate shoes. My only problem with these shoes is that they are a little tight on the sides at first but once you break them in thy feel fine. They are awesome.

I really don't know how these feel or how they skate, but they look durable and probably have some good support. But I have no clue., all I have to say is these shoes look tight...

Pretty good -
I love these shoes for there perfect balance of a great shoe and an original look. They are sick and protect your ankles. I recommend these shoes to any skate that wants to do stairs or has bad ankles. They feel funny at first, but become your favorite shoe ever. Unfortunately they do wear away fast and are expensive.
