Kitchen Worker @ Local Restaurant - Love the shoes and the comfort that comes with them. They stay dry, but the only problem I have so far is that they trap dirt in the grooves under the shoe and when walking in my house, I always leave the dirt here. Not good!!!

Nice kitchen shoes - I find they are the most comfortable shoes I have worn in the kitchen, and trust me I have been through a lot of pairs, and they last the longest.

I wear my Birkenstock Professional Clogs everyday to work at my restaurant. I am a chef and I am always looking for a comfortable shoe to wear. Now that I have tried the Birkenstock Professional Clog, my search for a comfortable work shoe is over. I recommend this shoe to anyone in the food service industry in need of a comfortable shoe that supports your arch and does not slide.

Chef - I have been wearing my Birkies for around 15 months for 6 days a week, 10 hours a day. I have worn boots, shoes and I find these are just THE most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. My feet are never sore, like they used to be. I endorse these shoess 100% and push for all my apprentises to buy them. I never slip, never slide, and can hose them off when they get dirty. You can't get better shoes. Race down and buy them now!

Too expensive. Compare to other brands with same or better comfort.

Love these for working in the hospital. They started squeaking after a while, so I didn’t like that very much.

Not my favorite - I took a previous reviewers advice to fit these shoes to my feet by adding layers of felt to the insert. The shoes were very big. They now stay on my feet but I couldn't really walk a long way in them. I really should have returned them but I needed them right away and I use them mainly for standing and that works okay.

Zappos rules - I didn't buy my Pro Clogs for looks, I bought them for barbecuing and yard work; just wipe them off and you're ready to go to the market or what have you. Zappos' customer service is absolutely second to none. Thank you

The shoes look very comfortable and easy to break in...they are a full size bigger than I expected, but for standing they are great, walking around constantly is another matter until the clog is mastered.

Didn't finish the shift - Well these are the best contender to my old sling-back Burkies, but they don't give as much as leather so in about 6 hrs, my couple of hammer toes wouldn't let me wear then another minute. So, they will be great around the house, garden, maybe shopping, but not for a 12 hr shift...

The shoe is great, but is a bit large. We're going to try big socks.

I wear a 6.5 wide, and I tried the two smallest sizes, 36 and 35, and both were huge in width and length. If they made a 34, I don't think that would have even fit correctly.

Great working shoe - I'm a registered nurse and this clog really holds up well to long hours on my feet. Lightweight and easy on and off. It's not very pretty, but comfortable. Would like to see this clog in some prettier colors or even white would be nice.

I have flat foot so I have to buy shoes based on comfort rather than looks, but when I saw these on the internet I thought they looked cute. When I received them I was very disappointed in that they looked like the Dutch shoes. However, I must point out that they did feel comfortable although, very huge for my size. I wear a size 8 and when I tried these on they felt like a 9 1/2. Now Birkenstock shoes are suppose to feel roomier but I would have to wear 3 socks on my feet just to have them not fall of my feet. If your looking for comfort, these are the shoes for you but buy them a size smaller.

Ordered these in a size 37. I wear a 6 or 6 1/2 and they were huge! The removable insole was the right size, but the shoe was so large that I couldn't even walk without them falling off. I'll have to return them. Very good arch support, however.

Don't waste your money! I bought a pair of Birkenstocks after hearing co workers rave about them. I was very dissappointed that they never felt comfortable, my arches constantly ached, and my feet became very painful and sore. The shoes failed in less than 4 months, and split to the center cork. I took them back to the reputable Birkenstock Dealer where I had purchased them, they then in turn sent the shoes back to the factory, I expected to at least get either a new pair of shoes of my choice from the line or at least get some kind of reimbursement, but their customer service was horrible, even though I had not abused the shoes, and had only worn them for my work as a nurse. I will never again waste my money on anything from Birkenstock, and would recommend that others do the same. Very Very Poor customer service!!!!!!

I have plantar fasciitis in both feet and these shoes are a Godsend!

I ordered my usual Birkenstock size and these felt larger. Almost too loose and large. The footbed also did not feel quite as good and supportive as my regular Birkenstock sandals. I took a pair of Vionic inserts out of my old work shoes and put them in these on top of the inserts that came in these shoes. They are perfect now. They have all the support I need, they don’t feel like they will fall off my feet when I walk yet they are not too tight. My feet don’t hurt at the end of a 12 hour shift.

Am looking for a washable clog to wear in hotels and hospitals. I tried the Professional Birkis (which this review is for) and the Super Birkis. They are both great. The main difference is the back of the shoe. With the Professional Birkis, the back of the shoe comes up higher on the heel, whereas the Super Birkis have a lower back more like a classic clog. The Professional feels like it might a bit more stable than the Super (especially walking up a steep incline), but takes a second or two longer to slip on and off. Also, the general form of the Professional seems a bit clunkier than the Super, and the Professional's insole is all PU whereas the Super's insole is a cork composite. Both Birkis are comfortable, roomy but stable, feel safe and easy to walk in, and have the typical Birkenstock shape. I will return these and keep the Supers Birkis, simply because I prefer to be able to slip them on and off quickly, and I am partial to the cork sole.

These are great shoes for professional kitchen work. I just realized that I've gone through a pair every two years since about 1994. I've also purchased a few pairs for employees that were wearing rags on their feet.

I bought my first pair of rubber Birkenstocks about 1994. I was working long hours in the kitchen and waring Doc Martin's. I looked very cool but suffered from back fatigue. My back pain went away immediately after receiving my new shoes. I just looked at my account and see I buy a new pair about every two years. So I guess I've been through about 15 pairs of these or a similar model.

LOVE these! Great for working as a nurse. I usually wear size 37 with sandals but the 36’s fit so much better (I prefer a more snug fit at work moving around so much)
