Great shoes - I got these shoes a day after I ordered just like Zappos promised and I couldn't have been more pleased. As soon as I saw these shoes I had to have them because I love "The Sandlot." The shoes are great although I ordered them a little too small. Just don't try to run in these shoes in wet grass b/c there is very little traction and you'll end up on your butt every time.

Better than Chucks - Long time Converse wearer, now PF convert. Fill the same niche while being all around a superior product. More comfortable, better built, and less likely to be seen on every single foot at the mall.

PF Flyers's Center Hi Re-Issue - Definitely looks better than Converse Chucks, but Converse Chucks a little bit better in quality. Chucks run one full size larger than marked, while PF Flyers run true to size, so don't order one size smaller as you would with Chucks. If you are looking for better overall quality go with Chucks. If you want sufficient quality with better looks, go with PF Flyers.

Excellent, classic and essential shoe to own. A must have, especially if you love The Sandlot and aspire to one day be Benny "The Jet" Rodriguez. You will successfully pickle all beasts in your life while wearing these shoes. As a PF Flyer owner, you may experience some or all of the following: -Increased confidence -Increased speed in all directions (Linear, Lateral, and "To the Edge") -Increased ability to pull chicks and dudes -Decreased anxiety and depression -Improved chances to make the MLB -Decreased time spent alone, unless, of course, you want to be alone -Improved cognitive functioning (IQ boosts have been reported as high as +50) -Increased jumping ability -Increased chance to become Michael Jordan, Babe Ruth, Walter Payton, Wayne Gretzky, Roger Federer, Pele, Usain Bolt, Michael Phelps or any other world class athlete You will find little to no therapeutic benefits or arch support from this shoe. All benefits are strictly cognitive. However, if you buy this shoe you will never regret your decision and will obtain a supermodel spouse in little to no time. BUY THIS SHOE!

I like them over all but the durability is in question since they are all ready starting to delaminate where the rubber meets the canvas after one day of wearing.

These shoes are nice looking. However, my son has only had them for one three weeks and we can see couple of tears. My son uses them on a daily bases to school. He does not play sports with these shoes. I would only recommend these shoes if you plan to use them on a few occasions they are not good for daily use. Like my son says they are only for show. They are true to size and they are comfortable. It does not provide any arch support but shoes these styles almost never do.

Loved the look. But were way too narrow for my feet. Left blisters on my pinky toes.

Are a fun style. My son wore them out in less than 2 weeks though; they tore out along an inside seam and the rubber gave him a blister. Not for everyday wear.

The shoes were too narrow - also, they had nice arch support, but the heel was not cushioned at all. It's very hard to buy shoes online. I'm not going to do it anymore.

These shoes look way cool! Just wish I could say that they fit as good as they look. The size is right on but my pinky toe starts rubbing against the shoe and feels really uncomfortable after a while and my foot is very skinny/not wide at all. I've had these shoes for a few weeks now and I’ll still wear them cause of the cool factor only not for extended periods of time...

Good shoes, but not quite PF Flyers..... Being a fan of The Sandlot, I was hoping to actually get a pair of PF Flyers like the ones in the film. Of course, I could not find those anywhere, so I had to settle for these "re-issues". They are sure comfortable and they fit well, but as for the look, it's just not the same. The PF patches are on the wrong sides, and the sole has a redone pattern that is nowhere near as cool as the original checkered pattern. Hopefully, someday, I will be able to find an original pair, or the manufacturers will re-issue the original style. Until then, I'll be left overall disappointed, and these will "have to do".

Only 1 flaw - Hi-tops ankle patch, wrong side - Great shoe, faithfully copied, except that some bonehead decided to mount the ankle patch on the outside - why? The problem with this is that it looks like you have your shoes on the wrong feet. When you cross your legs (guy's style), the hard rubber ankle patch digs into your leg.

These are fantastic shoes, they are very comfortable. They provide good arch support and padding in the sole. They are leagues ahead of the Converses in comfort and fit (I used to wear Converses). However, after having worn through six pairs over the last two years, I just cannot recommend them due to the lack of durability. Every pair fails in the same way. The side rubber starts to separate from the fabric at the flex point behind the toe box, and then from the sole on the bottom. The bottom rubber is then no longer sealed and a tiny 1/8" of water will get your foot wet. The rubber side also detaches from the sole in the heel area later on. If they did not wear out like this I would keep wearing them. I tried different materials like this canvas, and the gray nylon, to see if the rubber would adhere better. It usually first starts to separate around two months. The nylon is lasting longer. My feet are not too wide in the shoes, and I wear a size 10½ and weigh 155 pounds. I am going to try a few alternative brands that are leather and have a stitched on rubber side to see if they last longer.

I love the look of these shoes and the comfort. I received many compliments. Many people said that they were better looking then Converse and I agree. However, after only a few weeks the rubber (white) around the shoes started to peel off. The logo started to come off as well. I am not usually a person who wears out shoes or sneakers quickly so I was quite surprised. I contacted Zappos and they immediately sent out another pair. I figured it was a defective pair. I actually did not wear these sneakers until school began on August 18th. I am sorry to say that I wore the second pair for only a few weeks and the same thing happened. The soles are peeling off and so is the logo. I even tried to crazy glue the soles but that did not help. I would be curious to know if anyone else had this problem. I have never worn out a pair of shoes or sneakers so quickly. In fact, my sneakers usually last four to six months. I cannot recommend these shoes based on my experience.

I bought this shoes when its on sale on Zappos. After a few try inside the house and 2 days for normal wear, the glue that connects canvas and white trim started to come off. I was very disappointed. I called Zappos Customer Service and they acted fast to resolve the issue. The shoes are comfortable and yes they are more comfortable than Converse. But due to the quality problem, I do not recommend and I will not repurchase the brand.

I've owned 4 pairs of PF Flyers and have had quality problems with 2 of them. One the circle badge came off and on another the whole sole started falling off. It's a shame because the removable insole is a great feature as compared to Converse All-Stars.

I bought a few pairs of theses. They fit one size larger than your normal Chucks. They are much more comfortable than Chucks. The sole has more padding. I was extremely disappointed when they started to fall apart just after a few weeks. The canvas starts to separate from the rubber pinstripe and its only a matter of weeks before the rubber pinstripe rips downwards right where you toes/foot bends. Style wise, these things are great. For durability I would give it one star. I've had Walmart converse rip-offs that lasted 10x longer than these. On a side note, I think converse switched factories where they make their chuck taylors because the ones I buy now fall apart just slight slower than the PF Flyers. I have older Chucks that are holding up much better than my new ones. If you can, buy these when they are on sale. If they would last longer I would wear these for life. Classic and cool. But they just don't hold up. Keep in mind I've had 2 pairs end up like this and I still have one brand new pair in a box. PF FLYERS, please step up your game. If you do I would definitely start wearing your shoes again.

These shoes have a sole that is partially felt, much like what Converse has done with their shoes. If you are trying to get away from that, these aren't the shoes for you. It's too bad, because I like them otherwise. I feel that the soles make them dangerous, though. I ordered three other PF Flyer high tops with these and these were the only ones with this problem.

I bought these as an alternative to my aging Chuck Taylors and loved them from the moment I tried them on. However, they sides of the shoes completely fell apart after six months. The rubber completely cracked and peeled away at the flex point and the canvas now has a holes there. The rest of the shoe is in perfect shape. Looking at the other reviews, I must have gotten a bad pair, but there's no way I can return them. Despite the faulty rubber, they're one of the most comfortable pairs of shoes I've ever worn.

The shoes were great up until 6 months worth of use. The rubber is creasing in the sides were the canvas meets the sole. I also have a tear in the canvas on the heel where the canvas meets the sole. If you get these, I would limit them to nights out as they are not made well for everyday use. I am going to switch to Chucks to see if they hold up better. I would like for Zappos to get these back in the leather version size 12 as I hear they hold up better. I had another pair of PF flyers in canvas low that were torn up after a couple months worth of use as well. 'All American' shoe made overseas. What a joke.

Last Christmas I got a pair of these and loved them. However, once washed, they come apart. I am very dissatisfied with the experience. I remember Flyers being better quality than this. I considered asking for a refund, but decided against it. Sorry, but until the quality is increased, I will not buy anymore.

I really wanted to like these shoes because they are not Converse but they really are not made very well. After just a few months, the rubber on the side will begin to crack where it flexes. Soon after the canvas will separate from the sidewall. Zappos was amazing, sending me another pair but the second pair had the same issues. With almost 400 favorable reviews, I cannot believe that I am the only one that experienced these problems.

P F Flyers - After seeing "The Sandlot" I had to have these. Well, anyone who knows these shoes knows they were made by B.F. Goodrich and I use the term "WERE". These are Chinese knock off"s and in no way the P.F. Flyers of yesteryear. The sole quickly separates from the canvas at the edges and you can not walk all day with these. Save your money. If you want cheap look-a-likes then buy these but I'm afraid P.F. Flyers of old have gone by the wayside.
