The Converse Chuck Taylor Hi-tops are AAA. I am a woman and bought a Men s size 4 as instructed. They fit perfectly. I have a wide foot, but knowing these are made for men I knew they may be a little wider than Woman's and they were; so the Men s Medium fit perfect. No one can tell these are man's shoes. They are sharp looking and besides, men s shoes are made more durable. One reason I wanted them, plus I need ankle support. Rating these on a scale of 1-10? I give them an 11. Well-made, sharp looking, comfortable, perfect for ankle support. The leather is super. I recommend this shoe for men or women!

My boyfriend loved these shoes, but they fell apart within about a month of him receiving them. I was pretty disappointed in the quality. The soles quickly became separated from the leather (within just a few weeks), and have deteriorated to the point of not being wearable. He loves this style of shoe, and the leather looked very nice, but I am beginning to doubt the quality of Converse sneakers very seriously. I would also note that I had a problem with shipment, but Zappos was great in taking care of the issue.

My favorite pair of sneakers. I have had my current pair for 15 months. The leather upper is butter and with the softer insoles and black laces I added, my black leather Chucks are hard to beat. They often draw comments from those who have only seen canvas uppers. If you want a comfortable, durable sneaker with timeless appeal, this is a pair to consider!

Very comfortable shoes. Classic Chuck styling in dressy glove soft leather. An 8-1/2 in this shoe fits the same as my other Chucks in 8-1/2. Great shoe, but if you need arch support, don't buy it or any Chuck Taylor.

I always wanted a pair of high-top, black leather Converse. Thanks for having them. I think they are great. My partner wanted a pair also - she loves them too. They are so cool! We both put an extra insole in them for extra comfort.

They fit me great. I'm an 8.5. I bought separate insoles for extra support and they are perfect. Non slip for restaurant and bar work.

These Chucks are great. I thought at first they were a bit snug, then I put them on with thin socks and they stretched (I got caught in a rain storm) to perfection. I absolutely love them!

Great looking shoe, well made. The high cuffs were uncomfortable around the ankle, but nothing a pair Of ankle socks can't fix, other than that, they are very comfortable. I unusually wear a size 7, but a 6.5 fit perfect.

Surprisingly warm. If you're the type that wants to wear your chucks ALL SEASONS, I recommend these leather hi-tops to sustain you until it's officially canvas weather! Wish they came with an extra set of laces though, always get so DIRTY so FAST.

Well, they are Chucks, and then some. The leather really makes a difference for durability. The only drawback is that during the 90+ degree Chicago summers, your feet will sweat a bit, but nothing bad at all. I've had them for a month or so and they are way better than the typical canvas Chucks!

Leather Converse are very well made and look more expensive than the canvas ones. Initially I bought the canvas version but was disappointed with the quality; the canvas is thin and they look like they would fall apart after a few months. The leather version is perfect for winter. I live in CA and we have mild winters. I have an average sized foot with normal width. I followed the advice of others and ordered a 1/2 size down and they fit perfectly. I'm a girl and I didn't find these to be too wide for my feet. I bought the solid black ones, definitely the best Converse style.

I had been looking for these for the longest they were sold out everywhere and ZAPPO! Zapped had them I love the leather on these the style, fit perfection...you will not be disappointed buying these.

Ordered half a size down per instructions. Length is great, but after a day of walking around they squish my toes together. They're narrow. Think the actual sizing might be a better choice if you intend to use these for anything active.

It fits perfectly, but a good thing to know before buying converse shoes is that you ALWAYS go down half a size, or else they will feel too big and like clown shoes. My shoes came in two days even though I never paid extra for any special shipping. Absolutely love them, were well priced in my opinion (seeing as hey are leather and will last awhile) super easy to clean (literally just get a wet rag and everything comes off), comfortable to wear for a long time, I always get compliments about how cool they are and couldn’t be more happy with them :)

Design is really nice. The leather will break in super well. However, the sizing is tough on these. I would recommending ordering half a size down.

I bought these sneakers for my Architect son because he had experienced the comfort of another pair he has. The minute he put them on, he remarked how well they fit. I ordered his regular size and they are A-ok. He was happy.

Great shoes! I purchased six pairs of these for my groomsmen and they all love them. The classic Chuck style with a great, high end twist. As it says in the description, they all ran exactly a half size large, but other than that, such a great product!

One of the best looking and most comfortable shoes that I've bought. In fact, I own two pairs of these shoes, a black-on-black and a white-on-white. They look sharp, hug your feet, and are very comfortable.

I love Chucks. These are super Cute with fishnets. Chucks are horrible for your feet because they have no support at all. So buy a good arch support and youll be fine.

Love it! Just like all Chuck Taylor Converse, there's no arch support, so I don't expect it. The first wearing rubbed the back of my ankle, but I haven't had that problem since. And I usually expect the tongue of the shoe to slip sideways but in this style it holds in place. Must be the leather. Looks good, feels good. I can wear it all day. And I do.
