A really beautiful shoe, and very comfortable. I wish they were cheaper, though. Great with navy or grey suits, but I will say this: they are almost too formal for some settings, e.g., an academic conference or for teachers. Would be good for weddings, business people in interviews, lawyers, etc., but not for those of us who actually have to try to look a bit nerdy and less formal.

Classic design, great quality, supple leather and very comfortable. This shoe can be worn with any color jeans or a well tailored suit. Just a great black shoe.

I ordered these shoes for my father-in-law to wear to my daughter's commencement. Because he wears a narrow I went straight to Zappos and I found this shoe on the first try. He loved them and they fit perfectly. He was in them for 10 hours and said they were so comfortable and felt like he'd already broken them in. They looked so good, even better in real life. It was his first time shopping Zappos and he was so impressed with the way you could view the bottom of the shoe since he wanted leather soles. Also the speed of service, and of course his shoes. Thanks for saving the day! (We used over night shipping, that's how fast we needed them and you came through!) Thanks again!

An excellent shoe with a timeless look and feel. Break in was minimal and the quality is outstanding.

This is my first pair of oxfords in a long time, and these Bostonian's are a comfortable pair. I normally wear a size 7, but tried these out in a 6.5 W (EE) and couldn't be more happy. Worn first to a wedding, they provided plenty of comfort.

The Andover provides an excellent fit and look. I was very impressed with the quality. Having B width is challenging when it comes to finding a good fit and selection but the Bostonian Andover was perfect! I would recommend anyone with hard to fit sizes to Zappos.

Nice shoe. Is a bit tight, and I think that is because it is narrower than marked. (I did order a narrow shoe.)

In a way, the shoe is beside the point. No one can go wrong with a shoe from Bostonian. The service is the key. Without fail, you get delivery well ahead of time, every time. I buy all my shoes - dress, athletic, etc. - from Zappos. And, I use Zappos as a best case company in my service marketing class.

I am totally pleased with the quality, service, price and delivery of the shoes I ordered. I wear a size 15 and it is hard to get the style, make of shoe in any store. Especially Bostonian shoes which is high quality. My shipment came ahead of time. I could not be happier with this order and plan on using this site from now on when purchasing shoes.

Great looking dress shoes with an immediately comfortable fit. As usual Zappos service is outstanding with delivery within 36 hours of order! Plus Zappos staff is hilarious!

This is my third pair of Bostonian Andover shoes. These are great shoes and wear like iron. They shine up great with polish and a horse hair brush, tough to beat the shine. I have a pair that is over 10 years old and on sole number two and they still look great. Keep them in trees and keep them dry.

My experience with Zappos was excellent. My shoes were exactly what I wanted and were delivered rapidly at a reasonable price. It is hard to find shoes that fit me in my local area because I am a small person, so the Zappos option is really appreciated.

I bought two pairs of these shoes at the same time because I knew they were going to be good. They have style, class, easy to wear.

Shoe's surface scuffs and marks easily. And the original laces are very stiff and rigid; they keep sticking up in the air when they are tied. The price of the shoe seems too high, but other than that, it is an okay pair of shoes.

Class, comfort, style... This is a good mix of class and comfort...I recommend this shoe due to the style and comfort along with a good shoe life...My last pair lasted 2 solid years before being retired...

Bostonian Andover - Really good fit in the narrow size. I have a hard time finding shoes that fit my narrow foot but this really fits well. As with any dress shoe, it took a few long days to really break in but once they did they are comfortable as well.

Great shoes for the money - This is my second pair of these shoes that I have bought from Zappos. I really appreciate the reviews because it was helpful to know that they did run true to size. They are a great value for the money. I have big (13), narrow (B) feet that are very hard to buy for and these shoes, just like my fellow reviewers found, fit perfect. It is great to have these shoes just a "click" away. It saves me the pain of going from shoe store to shoe store and then having to settle for something that they have in my size and close to the style that I want. Zappos is fantastic and the prices are great.

Great shoes! I've used Bostonian Andovers for over 12 years and hope to continue buying them. The Bostonian shoe store shut down in San Antonio so I had to go to you to find them. Thanks for the great service. I received my order in less than 24 hours.

Nice shoe - I have wide feet with a high instep. This shoe fit well and was comfortable out of the box. I wish this was carried in Brown.
