Shoes are great - getting 3 emails a day from Sperry makes me regret buying from you

While lighter weight is nice, I'm more concerned about durability. This Sperry Topsider seems to have thinner leather pieces. If the sole material has changed or is manufactured differ, will be watching to see if these last as long as the previous pair as well as performance on a wet boat deck. If this pair does last as long, would increase my ratings of quality and overall.

Beautiful shoe, but way too big! Have to exchange for a different shoe because the size down is not in stock

I should know better by now, that any shoe that is made overseas is made smaller than any shoe made or used to be made in the USA. I ordered an extra wide and received possibly a medium at best. Rather than send the shoes back I thought I could break them in to fit after wearing them awhile. That was a mistake. I now have sore feet and can not wear my new shoes nor return them for credit. At my age you would think I would have learned by now.

The shoe soles could be thicker, they hurt my feet when I wear them to long. Going to try Dr. Shoals shoe soles to see if that helps.

I purchased the "Wide" version of this shoe and it is as narrow was a typical non-wide shoe. I am amazed they would consider this to be wide. Extremely uncomfortable and not to size at all. This is a nice looking shoe. The last pair I had lasted 20 years!

size was not true to previous Sperry products I have bought. To short, not happy with size.

Disappointed that the shoe color is close to sand rather than the richer brown depicted.

My husband has loved this style for years, and I got him these to replace his worn out pair. The leather is lighter and waxier than pictured and there were numerous scrapes and scuffs in the shoes, so I had to return them. Easy return!

Great shoe but not as comfortable as the Billfish design.

Nice look. Notwithstanding, as it's leather, there's a bit of stretch after a few miles of walking.

I'm buying the shoe for my grandson's wedding. All the men in the wedding party are wearing them. I was pleasantly surprised by the comfort as I would not have chose these.

I did a lot of research and comparisons before purchasing my first pair of Sperrys. I finally decided I wanted to have the best boat shoes in this price range. These shoes look great. They appear to be well made. They are even very comfortable with one "minor" annoying exception. I wear them with socks. I know many of you are moaning about that. I wear them to work with jeans or chinos and socks. That's where the problem results. They like to eat my socks. The zig zag stitch down the inside of the heel is what I believe to be the culprit. I guess I should have sprung for 50% more and gotten the lined ones.

This shoe was listed as pale red and shoe was shipped not looking like photo. It is a pink shoe and NOT pale red. Kept shoe but not satisfied.

Makes a wooshing noise every time I take a step. Other than that great shoes.

The tan of these boat shoes is an orangish tan; not my preference. I also thought I was purchasing Top Siders that don't have to be tied. I was looking for ones with a criss-cross of laces on the top of the shoe with no hanging laces to tie (illusion laces) but these you have to tie the leather in a bow on top (or a knot, whatever). I've had them before and they're awesome. I've returned these and will keep looking for the slip-on ones that don't actually tie. Also these run small and can slip on more easily if bought a bit larger.

I knew to order a a size and half down from what my son wears based on his other Sperrys. However, plan on exchanging them. The white sole looks cheap.
