Boots are great I've had mine for 4 years now and steel is starting to show but over all boots are sturdy and comfortable to wear.

Awesome boot's. Wasn't a fan of the price lol, but you get what you pay for has never been truer. All around great fit.

Aside from the price the only thing I hate about these boots is the break-in. These things kill your feet for the first week or so. Once they are broke-in, they are the best boots you can buy.

Excellent work boots. Worth every penny. Takes a little getting used to since they are heavy, but that’s to be expected since they are built like tanks.

I love these boots. I’ve had Carolinas to red wings. Neither of them compare to this American made Chippewa. I’ve been wearing them for prob 3 months now and still water proof. Very comfortable to wear and really warm. I work in the woods cutting trees. Constantly in the weather and these boots by far the best I’ve had yet. The boots are wet in the picture from working in the snow today so they looks very dark. But the tan color does go away but that’s a given with wear and grease/oil getting on them. All said I love these boots and won’t go back to any other boot. Chippewa is now my all time favorite and look amazing right out of the box and I will be buying another pair of these whenever I’ve worn this pair out. Expecting them to last awhile they are holding up very well

Best work book I've ever purchased!

Bought these as a gift for my son in May. He didn't wear them to work, the stitching started coming apart on one the boots with little wear after only 6 months. Called Zappos and they replaced the boots! The is great customer service. I always shop at Zappos for the easy ordering and speedy delivery. Couldn't get better service anywhere!!

These my friends are hands down the best boots I've ever owned. And, at this price point it's a win / win. Make your feet happy BUY THEM!!

I have had a pair of these boots in my life for over the past 20 years. Not much has changed and that is great. Even the price is relatively close. When I purchased these it was for riding a motorcycle originally and a heavy winter boot combo. I had that pair for 3 years. Wore the sole out from riding. Second pair I had for almost 12 year before having to retire them. I just bought these pair. I highly suggest for anyone who is looking for a good winter boot, or doing a considerable amount of outdoor work, light to moderate construction, or light machinery work.

Bought these for a diesel mechanic that's on his feet all day. He says they are really comfortable and we'll never buy anything else. The waterproof will be great for the winter when he's out plowing.

I have the steel toe non insulated super loggers model #25407. This style is the 25405 if I remember right. I just purchased my 2nd pair. All I can say are these boots are amazing. My first pair lasted two years of hard use. Only reason I replaced them is the steel toe was showing and was allowing water and snow to get inside my boot. Otherwise I'd still have them. Excellent build quality and superior comfort. I can't recommend these boots enough. The only drawback I have is the chipatex waterproof liner is a little hotter to wear than say an e-vent brand or Gore-Tex but shares the same reliable performance of those brands. Also these boots are heavy, heavier than some other loggers I've had in the past due to the thickness of the leather and also the fact the sole and heel of these boots are taller than many other loggers by about 1/2-3/4". They do take a little getting used to. But again I can't recommend them enough. And don't be scared away by the initial stiffness. Once they break in it will be the best logger boot you will ever own, unless you go all out and buy a pair of custom Wesco's.

I bought myself a new pair of these just a few days before Christmas, they are the most comfortable boots I have ever worn and easy to break in! Yesterday I wore them to go cut firewood and my chainsaw slipped and cut into the leather other the steel toe, so now there is about a 3 inch cut on my right boot toe showing a good bit of the steel toe. I would never go anywhere without these boots!

I bought these boots about a year ago, I love them. I use them for every thing. The steel toes are now showing through, and do leak now, but I have been rough on them. They are well worn, but the flags are still on under all the gunk that is on them. Going to buy some new ones soon to start all over again!

I knew these boots were going to be big, but WOW! I almost returned them just because of the size until I tried them on. It's like wearing 10# clouds... they are so comfy. USA made quality, you could probably kick a hole in an armored truck. I'm glad I bought them.

Amazing quality, not the most comfortable boot but the style will get you a lot of attention. Feels kind of like you're wearing massive high heels. The craftsmanship is unparallelled.

Just got my Chippewa super logger boot today 25405. They are comfortable out of the box and seem like a well built boot. They breathe good and are warm with 400 grams. Will have to see over time how they hold up. Shipping was fast ordered on a Thursday night and boot was here at door on Tuesday of next week.

Switched to these from Redwing 608's 3 years ago. When I purchased them from a local store, the guy told me see you in 3 years. I wear these boots everyday, all day. Sure enough, its 3 years later and the soles are just starting to separate. Best boot money can buy. I used to go through 2 pairs of the Redwings every year.

These are pricey, but they are well worth it. They provide great support, keep my feet warm and dry. They are a bit stiff, especially in the collar, but if you lace them up loosely, they will not constrict and will break in. They have thick soles and heels for great traction in slush/snow/mud (that is also nice when you are under 5'7"). They are a bit heavy, but, hey guys, you do not wear them to a dance hall. My only complaint is that I am a traditionalist, and I expect black loggers to have yellow laces (nylon or rawhide). If I get annoyed enough, maybe I will swap in some new ones. This is an awesome pair of boots!

The king of boots from the king of boot companies. Frankly, I wouldn't have needed a new pair had my new puppy not taken an afternoon to rip the tongue out of my last pair. Sniff. At 6 years old, they were just "coming into their own." Anyway, I wasn't going to take any chances with inferior boots, so back to Chippewa I went. If I had a single complaint is that it takes a full season before you feel that the boots are broken in. Keep them away from teething puppies!

Well, I'm in love with these boots, very rugged and tough! I love the support they give my feet. Been wearing cheaper boots for several years now and after finding these, no more! These are great boots!

I bought this boots about 5 months and ago and they have been tho hell ad back and the still are good boots they protect and keep your feet warm!

Just received these boots and love them. The only problem is the toe is sort of narrow for a wide width. As it is steel I don't think it will be stretching any so am returning them for extra wide. But a great boot for all around rough stuff - not just logging!
