These are beautiful! I tried to find boots that were beautiful, waterproof and available in a wide width that were less expensive but I gave up after numerous visits to local shoe stores and two returned orders to Zappos. These are expensive, but will not go out of style and I hope to be able to wear them for years.

La Canadienne Blanche - This is my first pair of shoes ever from La Canadienne, and I am hooked! I based my purchase on the excellent reviews from Zappos customers. Not only are these boots styling for winter, they are warm and comfortable. Also, they have excellent traction on slick surfaces. I live in Anchorage, Alaska. So the boots are a complete package for me; style, comfort, and safety all in one! This pair of boots is worth every penny. I will definitely buy again from this vendor.

These boots are wonderful! Great wide toe box, yet not frumpy! Accommodates my bunions well. Also like the short shaft height as a change from higher shaft length boots. Lady in my 50s who wants to look stylish but have feet that are more advanced in age.

These boots rock! I have had the cherry patent boots for 4 years and they still make a fashion statement when I wear them with a dress or with pants. They hold up very well and I am hard on shoes and boots. I am seriously thinking about getting these in black. La Canadienne makes good quality boots...i own 6 pairs and they are well worth the money!

Great boots for skinny jeans or skirts. Fit nice around my calf. I didn't want a slouchy look on my petite frame. I own another pair of La Canadienne boots but had to order the Blanche one half size larger.

Excellent boots! These boots are truly comfy and look great! I get compliments every time I wear them. They fit my largish calves perfectly and the soles are nice and cushy. Overall, a great buy!

Awesome!!! These could be the best boots I've ever worn. As a hairstylist I need shoes with support and to be fashionable. I found them, finally!!! I wear them with everything and everywhere. I also have the red pair only in a half size smaller. They are a little deceiving at first. They seem like they might run a little small, but they definitely stretch with wear. I would say they run true to size. Get these boots....you won't regret it.

These boots are like wearing slippers! They have a delightful amount of cushioning inside so they are not only fun and stylish but great for everyday wear and long days on your feet. Adorable with skirts!

Beautiful no-room-to-spare boots! Gorgeous shade of red, however I had to exchange for a half size larger because the fit was too true -- no room for wiggling toes (or wearing socks). But otherwise very happy with this boot and can absolutely recommend!

Too cute for words - These boots are so much better in person. I got the cherry crinkle patent and they make me happy when I look at my feet. They are super comfortable. I wear a 9 1/2 and had to exchange for a 10.

Perfect boots, best I've ever owned - To the reviewer wondering if the sole is decent on slick surfaces, my answer is yes. I live in the Colorado mountains, and these boots can hold their own on our snowpacked, sloping sidewalks. I also wore them in England this past November in incredibly cold, wet weather. My feet were not cold once and I am always freezing. They're versatile enough that you can wear them with skirts or jeans. I wanted to get the Cherry Crinkle too but they're out of my size. So, I just ordered the La Canadienne Jen, and can't wait to get them. I'll be a longtime customer of this brand. Incredible craftsmanship. Worth the money, without a doubt.

My favorite boots - Loving these boots-- not only are they so much fun to look at, they are one of the most comfortable pair of boots I've ever owned. I bought the cherry crinkle color (my boyfriend thinks they are really cute) and went back for the black pair, but none were available in my size. Why am I not suprised?? I'm still checking to see if someone returns a pair so i can buy them.

Super-boot! I LOVE THESE-- so comfortable!!! and they are so cute!! I bought the red and the black! I love that they are waterproof and not too bulky--still super stylish:) The squarish toe is exactly what I wanted!

La Canadienne's Blanche - These boots are very comfortable and warm. I got it in cherry crincle which is very eye catching. It is also true to the size. I am 8 1/2, but ordered size 9 and it fits exactly how I wanted - with some room in there to wear with socks.

Get the red pair and turn it into your best accessory this season. They are comfortable and stylish, worth the $$$$. Buy this ona pair instead of chepaer versions; you'll be happy!

Absolutely fabulous - These shoes are so comfortable and toasty. And they don't look frumpy!

Boots to live in! These are not quite as sleek as the photo implies, and they hit low on the calf (I'm 5' 5"), but are still stylish enough to wear with trendy skirts or jeans. These are incredibly well made and unlike many boots, have comfy padding and warm insulation throughout. They're also waterproof and have good grip in the soles. If you live in a cold or drizzly place and need a good everyday walking boot, these are the ones. The only negative is that on me, the arches hit me mid-heel. I will be replacing the insoles, but they are worth keeping. These will be around for years. I'm thrilled.

The shoe is great, it just looks a little sturdier than on-line. It felt true to the size but even the W ones are not that wide...they are pretty normal.

The boots are nice, more expensive than I like to pay. I bought the extra wide and thought they were a little smaller than most extra wides thinking I could wear a heavy sock, but they just seemed more like wide. Also tight in the calf area so I would never be able to tuck my pants in the boot. They are comfortable to wear all day. Length I felt was a 1/2 size larger. I am a 6 1/2 double wide and they seemed more like a size 7 medium. I own other La Canadienne shoes one 6 1/2 medium and the other 6 1/2 wide and they both seemed just as wide. They are such a beautiful boot I just wish I could tuck my pants in the boot.

Super cute, but runs a little small and narrow. I have two pairs of La Canadienne boots in one size, and in this style I had to go up a size. Very shiny and adorable, in red I feel like a super heroine when I wear them.

Extremely comfortable at the feet. Tip: if you need more toe space, you don't have to go up a size-- just trim the front off the removable insoles. My one complaint: they are too loose in the leg, not as slim as they appear in the picture. These are definitely NOT 13 1/2 circumference as the description claims-- it's actually closer to 15".

Got them in black, and they're as cute and comfortable as promised by all the reviews below. Also, I'm 5'1", and the height is great on me, not overpowering. But I'm on the fence about keeping them ONLY because I don't trust the sole on ice in the winter. Does any previous reviewer have comments on their traction?

La Canadienne Blanche- Ordered them in the Cherry Crinkle and they are definitely REDDER than what the photograph show... so make sure red is your color! The comfort is awesome and they seem to run a little large. I used to wear a 9 1/2 to 10 but after my pregnancy my foot stretched to a 10 or 10 1/2 so 10's seem to run smaller on me sometimes but this 10 is just great and has room to spare!! So downsize at least 1/2 a size! The quality looks and feels great and after debating whether to order it in the black instead, my neighbors thought that the red, overall, was just "it". So I’m keeping them! And I'll be ordering more from La Canadienne just for the comfort issue, amazing!!

The Canadians know how to make a warm, comfortable, and cute boot. They look great with skirts or pants. The patent leather is really shiny, but that is growing on me. Definitely recommend them.
