I have not been able to find any boot that properly fits my 13 EEEEE feet until I tried these Docs in 14 wide. They are a perfect fit and very comfortable when I wear them all day.

Amazing fit, broke in within a few hours of walking around at work. Great for very cold morning motorcycle rides and being in business attire at work!

This dress is completely adorable. I recently had to find a cocktail dress for a formal event but I wanted to look young and fresh while still being sophisticated. The blue is a bit darker than portrayed but the fabric is perfectly smooth and silky. The bodice also has boning underneath for extra support, and the bow in the back is too cute.

First off, no complaints for Zappos. They do have very good customer service. A+ in that respect. With that being said, I'm not thrilled with these boots. They aren't bad by any means, but they aren't really all that special. Originally, I wanted to find a comfortable slip-on boot; these seemed to fit the bill. So, after waiting a little bit, exploring the competition, I decided to go with good ol' docs. I mean, what could go wrong, eh? Wow. Dr. Marten's quality has really gone down hill. Granted the vast majority of them AREN'T made in the UK anymore, but I didn't think the difference would be this drastic. Now that's not to say I hate these boots by any means, but they aren't at all like oldschool docs. I'm convinced the right boot was manufactured incorrectly because it is MUCH tighter around the instep and ankle than the boot on the left. Given that both my feet are nearly identical, which is rarer than most people think, it seems to me like there was some production error. Nevertheless, after a breaking in period, these boots feel pretty good; certainly well enough to get by wearing regularly. All in all, I'd do them again.

I work in the Oilfield and I have tried five different types of boots and then found these. I will never buy anything else!

Excellent boots. Bought these on sale to use as motorcycle boots. But they were so comfortable, I now wear them around as well. Thick leather, sewn-on soles, top-notch construction. I was very pleasantly surprised. A real deal, and handsome too.Rugged looking, without the all-black statement.

This is a great leather work boot that offers terrific ankle support. I have been wearing this same style of Dr. Martens for over five years!

I am a HVAC tech and I use these boots everyday in any weather! Great all around boot with day-long comfort. Very durable and keep your feet dry.

I love this boot! I am 48 years old and all my life have never been able to wear a pull on boot due to a narrow foot (C width). I can wear this boot in a D width and it is very comfortable , I think the padded ankle helps reduce heel slip. The soles seem a little softer than other boots I have owned which makes them even more comfortable. Great boot!

Ok, my wife got a pair of the 2295 steel toed version of these boots for me to wear when riding my motorcycle, and while I thought the look was the bomb, walking a full day in them after a decent break in period still brought tears to my eyes. Luckily I was able to return those to the local shoe store and get these boots from Zappos. I am a big fan of Dr. Martens, but I have noticed sizing issues since they stopped being produced, for the most part, in England. These ran true to size, I am a 10.5 American size I ordered a size 10. I recommend ordering the half size smaller like I did since the leather will stretch to fit quite quickly and comfortably. I’ve found this to be true of all my Docs except the "for life" versions which feel nearly a size larger than labeled. The look of these boots is great, very similar to picture. A very dark oily brown nearly black in dim light. It will lighten a bit when scratched or rubbed, but if you get the Dr. Marten wonder balm it puts them right back to original condition. The leather is a nice mix of stiff and supple, they broke in within evenings wear. They are stiff enough to be supportive in the right places, but the bend where they should without painful stiffness or rubbing. I rate the comfort at 4 only because they come with Dr. Martens typical nearly nonexistent insoles. A decent set of insoles make these every day all day boots for me.

Good Boots - The boots fit good, a little tight across the top of my foot. Real fast shipping, and priced right.

Vermont lady – This boot is what a boot should be. I have worn them on my motorcycle, hiking, walking my dog, with Levi’s, and even to a party with a long skirt. These boots are the perfect all around look for my life. A little snug in the beginning, I thought I was going to have to wear them with a thin sock. However, I graduated sock thickness every few days and now find that I can wear a medium thick wool sock. Warm, comfortable, waterproof, and perfect for my Vermont lifestyle. Thank you.

Great Work Boot - Feels true to size, was very quick to break in, all around good work boots.

Very excellent boots - To start with the boots were a bit tight across my high instep, but they are breaking in very nicely. I can now wear them all day with no problems. I like the traction and the looks. I have worn them on the motorcycle and to court. Thanks to Zappos for a great boot and great service.

Fantastic boot. Best you can buy. I wear boots every day, all year long, and for walking, work, and riding motorcycles this boot is absolutely perfect. I have owned 3 other pairs of Docs, and this is by far the most comfortable. It takes about two days to break these in, but it is a very easy two days compared to other boots I have owned. The leather is thick and sturdy, and the boot is so comfortable a fit I didn't even need to put additional insoles in them. I ordered one size smaller than I usually wear, since Docs run large, and they fit perfectly. Hands down a great product and Docs last forever.

Best Boots Ever! I bought these boots for my husband. He is very picky about boots and only wears the step in kind as opposed to the lace up. The last pair he bought lasted about 8 months, that should tell you how rough he is on boots. He works on the pipeline, so he has to have a good boot. I saw these on Zappos and told him he should try them because of the ankle support that is built into it, in addition to the fact that I have always heard good things about Dr. Martens. He LOVES these boots, said they were the best pair he has ever worn, just like wearing a pair of tennis shoes. Comfortable and lightweight, durable and tough. Do not hesitate to buy these boots, they are worth every penny spent and you will not be sorry. You can't lose by purchasing them here either, we ordered at 6pm one day and they were here at 2pm the next with no extra shipping charges! You can't beat that for service!

Best boots ever! I would like to start by thanking Zappos.com! You guys ROCK! These are the most comfortable boots right from the start!!! If they hold up like the other Docs I've had, then I will enjoy these for many years to come! I am thinkin' about buying another pair for when I finally do wear these out! Tight Squeeze - This boot is tricky to get on. I needed the old bread bag trick to get into them. Once they're on, they are all day comfortable. I'm hoping they get easier to get into the more I wear them.

Gotta love those Doc's - These boots were excellent, exactly what i have been looking for. They give you that rugged cowboy boot look but feel like a tennis shoe. The people at Zappos were amazing as well, quick service and delivery, can't say enough good things about them.

My husband thoroughly enjoys wearing these boots and will no longer wear anything else.

Dr. Martens are Excellent as expected - Zappos! Great service! Highly recommended! Always fast! I have had several pairs of Dr. Martens and have never been disappointed; the look, the comfort, the fit; its all there and they do a great job of making a shoe that works for me with many different uses. I bought these looking for a boot that looks good with jeans or khakis, works both ways and is extremely comfortable.

Awesome! I have worn these boots almost every day since I bought them and they are awesome. I am an outdoorsman and these boots are the toughest boots I've ever had. I can walk in them all day without any sign of discomfort. I would recommend them to anyone with feet!
