I really love this Mephisto Sydel. It's comfy and adds just the right amount of kick to any outfit. I'm not a very glitzy gal and this is just enough. Not really silver but almost a shiny charcoal color with texture...cool!

I am now on my second pair. I must have walked more than 150 mile in my first pair in my travels. Up rocky hills, city cobblestones, out to dinner - they go everywhere. No slip, great support. My feet never got sore, even after nine or ten miles! My first pair were going strong still, but through all the rough terrain I lost some of the rhinestones and I'd actually worn through the surface of the shoe under my foot. I wear these every single day in my home too. Best shoes I've ever had, bar none!

I purchased these to replace a similar style I had (Naot) which 'died' after some years. LOVE these - very comfortable and a much better supporting footbed.

I am on my feet all day on hard stone floors. I need comfort and style, this was the perfect option for summer. No break in time, comfort style and compliments, worth the money.

Absolutely love these shoes! I bought a pair in silver and in gold in 2008 and wear either nearly everyday since in Tennessee sandal weather. So happy they started making this style again. Usually wear 9 and a half, but these need to be size 10.

These are the best sandals -- I have them in several colors. The ability to adjust the straps over the toes & instep make them a great sandal for all foot types. They also look very feminine with their rhinestone buckles.

I am on my third pair of these adorable sandals in about six years, and always keep an extra new pair in reserve because they are my go-to sandals for summer wear. They are undoubtedly the most comfortable sandals that I have ever owned, including during the period when I was being treat for a neuroma and these were the only shoes I could wear without pain. They fit my wide feet well, and the decorative straps can be adjusted for a perfect fit. I get compliments on them almost every time I wear them, since the sparkly rhinestone buckles add an unexpected dressiness to an otherwise flat and somewhat orthopedic -looking sandal. I normally wear a shoe size 5 to 5½, and the 35 Sydel fits me like a glove. These are well worth the rather high cost!

Love this shoe! I was recently diagnosed with Plantar Fasciitis and this shoe is really comfortable and stylish. I love Zappos.

I have had 4 pairs of these. I wear them all year round. I've hiked in them. When I put on other shoes, I soon kick them off and go back to my Sydels. They feel like part of my foot. The perfect shoe. And they are beautiful too! Classic. Timeless.

I was looking for a comfortable sandal with arch support to wear with dresses and skirts (shorts are easier to match). I tried quite a few sandals: Naot (not dressy enough or too much heel), Orthaheel (too wide, too much arch support or not leather). I ended up keeping these simply because they are flats (no heel), the lining is soft, they have arch support and they are dressy enough. At first the leather was stiff--I almost returned them. But after wearing them the first time for about an hour, it softened up and it is not an issue anymore. Both straps are adjustable, which is good because I have a narrow foot.

I just bought these last week and love, love, love them! They allow me to walk in style in a sandal again!!! I have had plantar fasciitis for the last two to three years in my right heel and I have had no pain since I started wearing these shoes this week! Thank you Mephisto!!! I used to wear the slide wedge version many years ago and loved those.

Just a little glitzy! I enjoy wearing these sandals because they can be casual or dressy. They have wonderfully delicate rhinestone buckles. They have the comfortable Mephisto's fit that makes it easy to wear these sandals all day everyday if I wanted. I can easily recommend these delightful shoes to all.

Is it sick to love a shoe? I LOVE THIS SHOE! There, I said it. Seriously, best feeling shoes I've worn in my entire life. And they are cute too! I own this shoe in 3 colors...black, red, silver. I get TONS of compliments whenever I wear them. I wish Mephisto made other non-sandal shoes using this same exact last. If they did, I'd buy even more of their shoes!

At last... After searching, ordering, trying a multitude of comfortable walking shoes with no success, I tried Zappos and found this pair of Mephisto. At last a wonderful walking shoe that actually fits! The shoes are medium but the adjustable straps fit my narrow foot. It was comfortable the moment I slipped it on and for 12 days in Italy... day and night. The perfect shoe!

Love This Shoe - I bought this shoe in black three years ago, and b/c that pair is looking a bit scruffy after three summers of hard wear; I bought another black and a white pair this spring. It's super comfortable, and I receive lots of compliments on it. A woman stopped me in a restaurant the other day to ask where I had bought them.

Stylish & Fun - Great fit, even for person w/ small toes (they go to the end). Like the fact that both straps are adjustable.

Fun and Elegant Sandal - I felt very frivolous when I placed the order for these pricey sandals in GOLD! The joy I feel when I wear them erases any guilt! They are very comfortable, and the gold sandals go with almost anything for our casual seaside lifestyle. They spice up jeans, accent white, and add sophistication to black. They are great with short dresses as well as crops. I'm in my mid sixties with problem feet, and these fun shoes make me feel young again. I ordered them when the shipping time was expected to be several days. An e-mail notified me I had a special shipping rate, and they were on my doorstep the day after ordering. I have these shoes in 2 colors and I am very happy with them. Everyone compliments them on me. I have very bad feet and these look nice and are comfortable to walk in. I would recommend them to everyone.

So cute and comfortable - This is my second pair of Sydels - one in black patent, now one in silver. I wear a 9.5-10 shoe, the 40 fits perfectly in this style. Very nice with summer skirts and shorts. Very good support for all day wear.

Elegant and comfortable! This is my second pair of Mephisto shoes. I have high arches and these shoes provide very good support. The Sydel is a shoe that can be as dressy or as casual as you make it. The leather is a bit stiff at first, so my feet were sore the first 2 times I wore them, but now they are like putting on slippers. I love them. I bought them in the spice pearl patent which is a beautiful, shiny taupe. The color is better than pictured. As soon as I save some more money I'll buy the silver.

Gorgeous! I had to have these shoes! They are gorgeous. True the straps are stiff at first, but I wore them with socks a few days around the house and now they are conformed to my feet and comfortable. Zappos sent them quicker than I could have driven and shopped at a brick and mortar store.

MY FAVORITE SHOE This shoe was introduced to me three years ago. I added different colors each year. I have the shoes in black, white, red, beige, and I just added pink, silver and gold this year. I have problem feet and this has been a wonderful discovery. I highly recommend this shoe for those people like me that cannot deal with anything between my toes. I am glad that I found a shoe that is just as cute as all those with straps between the toes. Thanks!

Great shoes!!! These are great Mephisto sandals... actually replacing the pair I bought last summer and wore so much that I have decided to "retire" them... often receive compliments as they are kinda cute as well as comfortable... like the color!

What a wonderful, comfortable, cute show! I was introduced to this shoe three years ago when I walked into our local Birkenstock store and saw this shoe in "black" and "white". I had to have both. Since then I discovered Zappos.com and really got in trouble. I ordered my favorite color "red"...the "beige" and last week "pink". I told a friend who is working with me this week from Seal Beach, CA about it when she saw that I was wearing my "black" ones. She immediately ordered a pair and I wore my "red" pair in today and she almost had a fit. The "red" is not offered right now...nor the "green" that I also want. I want the "silver" and "gold" also, but have to try to behave. I may order another pair this year, but am waiting to see if you offer the "green" again. I have crazy feet and hate it so much when winter arrives and I have to put my cute shoes away. I cannot tolerate anything between my toes and all the cutsie shoes have the thing you have to have between your toes. I was delighted to fine this shoe. I now have five pair.
