Nice boot, lacks support - I really love the look of this boot, but I'm an over-pronator so they were pretty uncomfortable. A nice pair of Dr Scholl’s arch supports have solved that problem.

Almost perfect - I had ordered a brown boot, careful not to get the banana color. But I guess what I got is brown over banana? It's not quite what I expected, but I like it well enough not to return them. I also ordered a size 7 but received a 7.5. It worked fine.

Love my Frye boots but... These boots were made for someone who has slender calves, not that I have abnormally sized calves, but these were a little tight. I spent a few days stretching them out before I could wear them. Also, they did pinch my toes for quite a while. On the other hand they are really good looking shoes and they go with everything!

Campus Banana - I love these boots. I've had them for years and they are comfortable and stylish. I tend to wear mine with jeans (both under and over). However, the sizing can be tricky. I went with my true size because when I sized down my toes were squished. But with my true size, the heel is sort of loose. I generally just wear these boots with thicker socks and they are okay. My heel still slides a little but I find that better than having squished toes.
I'd also recommend:
Steve Madden, Faryl Robin, C Label, and French Sole

Ive been wanting to get the pink 14L campus boots. Will they be back in stock soon? Also, will the quality be what I have had with my American made harness boots 15R?

I have owned different pairs of Campus 14L for the past 15 yrs or so. I keep buying the same boot in different colors. This time I was lucky and got my hands on the silver ones and love them. Ive received several compliments. In my case they do require some wear before they mold to my feet but once that happens they are my go to shoe for everything. I hope the pink come back.

I own couples Frye boots and 1 campus 14l size 8. am happy with my boots. I tried calling customer service couple times but no answer. I needed to find out when the campus 14 L PINK is going to be available but its looks like Frye company doesnt want to do business. I hope the boots are made in the USA based in couple review the pink campus 14L is not a good quality. Hoping is the company tries to make new ones, should be 100% quality and made USA not in Mexico. I hope you hired experienced people handling the craftsmanship of the next pink campus 14L and the others.

So frustrating! First pair ordered for my daughter in regular size 8 - too tight, and no pull loops stitched on inside. Paid the return shipping and just received replacement size 8. 5. These DO have pull loops, but my feet are absolutely swimming in them. (She and I wear the same size. ) Am I going to be out another $20 in return shipping just to take my chances with a third pair??

These boots are beautifully made and very comfortable the first time I wore them. The leather is really amazing.

These have been on my most wanted list for years & finally took the plunge. Initially ordered my usual 7. 5 size but they were fairly loose. True leather boots will stretch & they would have been too sloppy when walking. I do have a wide foot, sweet bunion on one, and they were loose. reordered the 7 and they are a smidge tight but know they will stretch. I have average to bigger ish muscular calves, any bigger and the boot would be tight & may not work with skinny jeans. Quality is good to great. . . not quite as good as the older version a friend of mine has but a well-made boot. Super thrilled I have them & definitely recommend

Received my first pair of Frye boots for my 50th Birthday and ready to rock these for 50 more years However, the left boot at the top stitching has almost a plastic substance in the stitching sticking out on the top inner boot that was so uncomfortable and made a scratch mark on my leg. I have tried to call Frye Customer Service for a few days and can not get through, also sent 2 emails. For this high cost investment, I expect this stitching to not hurt. I dont want to have to wear knee high socks every time. Hoping this can be fixed! I have my eyes on the Harness 12 for Mothers Day as I am hoping to be obsessed with Frye! Please help as I dont want to doctor up these $$$ boots on my own.

Own several pairs of Frye campus boots and unfortunately they dont seem as good of quality. Purchased the pink ones and returned them because the leather was too thin and seemed as if it was peeling. Exchanged for the banana ones and the leather again seems too thin and not as good quality. The inside of the boots dont carry the Frye logo any longer and states these boots arent made in the US something Frye prides theirselves on. Pretty bummed to be honest. My older Frye boots the older they get the better the leather but with these new ones I dont know if they will even last.

Man O Man I REALLY hope Frye is listening to their customers, their loyal customers . all of their customers as these reviews get worse and worse about the new Campus boot being of less quality. Dont mess with a good thing! Dont fix something if its not broken- hope they get the message!!! I have several pairs of campus boots and bought the new pink color and they are no where near as nice of quality as my boots of last yr & others that I have purchased. The pink leather was thin and had a crinkle like plastic feel as well as the look to them, no pull straps inside, stitching was different as well. Hope youre taking note of the horrible reviews. There are ppl out here that dont mind paying $600 for boots but they have to be worth it for ppl to keep coming back. Take notes Frye!

I had to order a half size smaller because I dont have wide calves and it buckled on my calf but the half size smaller solved that problem and fits great. I would have liked to to be a bit more snug and tapered but it actually is great and looks good

Back in the 70s I had a pair of Frye boots and they were perfect in every way I think I bought them at LLBean. After reading these few reviews, I have decided not to purchase a pair.

I love the Campus 14L, especially in the banana color. I splurged on a pair a few years ago and got them in my usual size 8. After wearing them for a year or so, I surrendered to the fact they were just too big. I went back and read reviews that reported they run big and to order a half to a whole size smaller than your usual size. Ive regretted selling the size 8s and finally bought another pair. I ordered half a size smaller this time, but am now aware the boots arent made in the same factory anymore. The 7 1/2 is a snug-to-perfect fit, but definitely not the oversized fit of the boots I bought before. So, buy your regular size now. They are still beautiful, comfortable and unique.

I was let down when I opened the box, poor quality upper shaft on boot, very thin, no straps to help with pulling on, I did not get the product I was expecting, and no way to return on website so, needing help getting that done. A total let down for the amt of money I spent. I can get the same product made in USA with boot straps at Dillards.
