I ordered a 10.5 wide in this shoe. What a joke. It's as if Capezio stamped a W onto a regular shoe. The one bright side is Zappos easy and free returns!

The strap did not have enough notch holes. Even if you tightened it to make more, then the strap was too long.

Runs much wider than Capezio Jr. Footlights. (Capezio Jr. Footlights medium width is generally the equivalent of a narrow in anything else.) Ran wider than even other brands in this case - as generally with anything with a strap I can get away with a medium (because my toes are wider than my heels and often cannot take a narrow), but I'd have had to have an extra hole a full inch further in on the strap made if I was going to keep this on my foot, plus the toe area was so big I could have stuck my fingers on top of my toes and stuck them between my toes and the top of the shoe. Just wanted to warn anyone who assumed that all Capezio character shoes run the same - apparently they don't - not at all. Would be a great shoe for anyone who likes Capezios but has problems with Capezio's normally running so narrow.

NOT a wide width - There is no way this is a true wide width shoe. It is no wider than any regular width you'd buy off the rack.

When I ordered these Character shoes, I was in need to get them quickly and wasn't sure how it would fit. I ordered a half size larger than what my daughter usually wears. About 10 minutes later I decided to also order that size in a wide. So I called to add to my previous order. After being told that I needed to place a new order, I explained that I chose next day shipping and decided that I'd just pay for the shipping. I was told that I could be made a VIP and I could have free next day shipping. This type of customer service is very rare these days. They made it so easy and inexpensive for me to get what I needed when I needed. The shoes were perfect. Thanks Zappos! Now I shop here first.

I bought these for my new dance class. They are slick on wood floor but I love them! I am especially impressed with the fit as I have wide feet!

Well, the 4th time is finally the charm. These must run small as I started with a 5.5 Wide (I'm really a 5 at the most). Nope, 6 too small too. So I ordered a 7 to try since 6.5 was out. Gratefully the 6.5 came in and was shipped to me. Perfect fit! Thank you Zappos for allowing me to try on 4 pair of shoes to finally find the best fit. You guys are awesome!!!

These beauties are comfortable. If you’re buying wide width make sure you down a size. I’m usually a 5 but they were a bit big & the 4.5 wide fit perfect. If you’re looking for heels to wear all day these are amazing!

Based on reviews, ordered my size and wide, but was a full size too small. Great looking shoe.

Some reviews warned size being smaller, so I ordered both size 7 and 8 (I am size 7); however, size 7 fits me perfectly. Wearing the shoes to my first swing dance lesson tonight!

Is it possible to fall in love with a pair of shoes? Then Cupid's arrow has just pierced my heart. I had a pair of these in the 1980s and wore them until they fell apart. They went with everything- from slacks to evening dresses. I wear a size 10 usually but after reading the reviews, ordered a 10.5 (wise decision) and wide width. Absolutely perfect. I feel like a Rockette wearing these. Pricey? yes, but if they last for years, then they are worth every penny. Good job, Zappos!

On the advice of many many reviewers, I sized up on this shoe, only to find myself swimming in too-large shoes. Normal size would have been fine, I suspect, was totally led astray by other customers this time. Thank goodness for the Zappos return policy!

These shoes are not comfortable.

Very comfortable to dance the tango. I usually wear a 6 or 6.5 and I needed the 6.5. I ordered the wide.

Great Standard Character shoe. Capezio is a great brand for theatrical use.

I bought these shoes to go dancing in and they were perfect. While not the most stylish shoe, they are cute enough, especially in the dark club. The heel was just the right height for a comfortable night on my feet. I would buy them again.

I bought 1/2 size larger than usual as recommended and I'm glad I did. The shoes fit well. I particularly like that the ankle strap is long because sometimes they are too short for me due to my high instep. Sturdy shoes, I think they will last well.

Lovely shoes. I ordered wide in a 10 (I wear between a 9-10 1/2 depending on what style it is)and it was great, but I did have to put a couple of extra holes in the strap for ankle support. Love these shoes!

I enjoy swing dancing in Tennies. I needed dressier dance shoes for a few Gatsby & Art Deco events. I love the vintage style of these shoes and leather bottoms that allow me to easily swivel when dancing. They are stable and comfortable for heels even after a long night of dancing. I dropped a sub-rating because there were not enough buckle holes on the straps that were a few inches too long. I had to get a rush job at a local shoe repair shop. Also, there was no need to order a size up, so I reordered in my usual size 6W (wide due to mild bunions).

I am using these for office wear Very comfortable and sturdy. Since I'm standing a lot I did add an insert... with the wide width it has plenty of room. Only disappointed they don't have more wide shoes. Returned the smaller size and credit appeared quickly!

Zappos had exactly what I wanted, and the shoes fit perfectly. Most important was the wonderful service I received. Shoes arrived the very next day and no shipping charges! That was wonderful for me, the consumer.

I work retail and I am on a tile floor for 8 hours a day. These shoes are great! I had to take them to a cobbler to get rubber soles put on but once the soles are on they feel great after hours of wear.

I am quite pleased with this character shoe. It is very comfortable, even for me who has flat feet and bunions and isn't real comfortable wearing heels while moving around on stage. The only negative is that the strap is almost too thin and doesn't have enough holes punched in it for my thinner ankles. I would order this shoe again if I need another color!
