Thank you for my desert boots! Brings back memories wearing them as a youngster. This could possibly make me a repeat customer! Thanks Zappos and Clarks Original Desert Boot! Very comfortable and true to size 6.5 M (US). They never had arch support (they are moccasins with a crepe sole) so they are completely to specs and just like I have had in the past!!!

Seriously awesome shoes. I got the Oakwood suede and the colours are true to what you see online and just look awesome! I'm wearing mine with a pair of blush pink cords and they match perfectly. The crepe sole is also really awesome for walking. The shoe is just really comfortable! And they arrive two days after I ordered. :)

Fit was fairly true to size (8-1/2) but gives some wiggle room for slightly thicker socks but I can wear with tights. Zappos is amazing as I ordered several colors and sizes. I will say that Clarks quality control is not 100% and I returned a couple that had minor flaws. I can't wait to see if Zappos gets more options in the future. These are going to be my favorite shoes.

I have had these boots for about eight months now. I love them. They are so ridiculously comfortable. They look great too. I think they are looking better and better with a bit of age and distress. I am 25 and I like the connection I have with previous generations by wearing these boots. I could not decide between 9½ or 10. I finally chose 10 as that is my normal size and I am glad that I did. They conformed to my feet and fit great. You will not find a more comfortable pair of boots. They go great with a variety of clothing too. They are a good buy.

These are awesome! True to size, too! They're a little tight at first, but stretched to fit my foot after the first day! These are my feel good shoes for sure! Really cute with jeans.

My desert boots (in oakwood suede) look great with jeans and skirts and were comfortable enough to wear all day long from day one although they are shaping to fit my foot now that I've been wearing them a month or two. I love them, and they make a nice style statement. I am so tired of the running shoe look, and my desert boots are just as comfortable for walking. Love them!

I adore my desert boots! They are comfortable, warm and stylish with all of my jeans, slacks and even leggings. I now consider them my go-to shoe.

This bootie is very comfortable on my wide feet. The sole is quite cushy and comfortable for walking around all day. I prefer walking my dogs in these instead of bulky heavy athletic shoes. The leather is very supple and soft. My puppy got hold of one and spent a few unsupervised hours chewing on one, but lo and behold! No rips or tears! It still looks perfect (although a little damp). I'm still searching for the shoelace.

I've never had a pair of Desert Boots, but I've seen them in a lot of women's catalogs lately. My boyfriend got a pair of Clarks Desert Boots last year and I was considering buying a pair of men's boots for myself. When I found out they came in women's sizes I bought them immediately. They are made of super supple suede, and the heel is unbelievably soft. I hardly make a noise when walking across my hardwood floors. Only complaint is that they are a little narrow in the toe box, but I'm hoping they'll stretch out. I'm usually a 7.5, sometimes an 8. I ordered 7.5 and the length is just fine.

I am so extremely happy that now Clarks makes really great colors for woman's desert boots! I always envy my boyfriend who buys new desert boots every year. Now I can do the same. Clarks boots have timeless style. And we are their timeless fans.

Great boot! These boots are a classic in an interesting, rich color. They are super comfortable and true to size. You may need an arch support insert because they are rather flat. Great Zappos service and price!

This is a great shoe for when you need a cool, relaxed look. I get a ton of compliments on them (especially from men) and the quality is excellent. So far I've been wearing them with jeans and pants because the top of the shoe hits me at a point above my ankle where it starts to rub a bit, so I need to wear longer socks. I'm thinking that after they relax a bit that I'll be able to wear them with some dresses in the late summer and fall. Overall, a really great buy and a classic shoe.

I bought these as a stylish alternative to sneakers for my trip to Paris. I tried them on at a Clarks store (along with Wallabees, which were too loose around the ankle and seemed easy for me to roll my ankle). I am a pretty true 8, and I felt these were true to size. I also have quite narrow feet, so they fit me just fine, but if you have more "normal" width feet, these might take some stretching if you get the leather. I wore them around for about a week to break in, and the leather is definitely stiff, so you might get a little bruising around the back of your leg. After about a week, I bought the superfeet insole to give more arch support, and the extra support has made a huge difference. However, if you have "thicker" feet, it'll be harder for you to put in an insole because the shoe does not provide much height once your foot is inside the shoe. Again, because my feet are skinny, this might be harder for someone who has thicker feet. Overall, I like wearing them with jeans, and they look cool, but you need to purchase with eyes open and be ready to include an insert if arch support is important to you.

Overall, I really love these boots. The color is great - image is just a little dark, though. I really like the lightly tanned suede, though I've been told they likely won't last as long as leather (which is expected with suede), and they've definitely started looking worn in quickly, though in a nice way. I will probably order a leather pair next time, but that's more of a personal style choice. The narrow part of my ankle is low, so if I wear ankle boots and other shoes with a high "rise," they tend to make me look like I have cankles. This is definitely best with pants, but still looks okay if they're cuffed just above the boot. I personally wouldn't wear them with shorts. Great for lounging around and light walking days - the kind when you could be on your feet all day, but aren't putting stress on your joints (downtown shopping, bbq's, etc). Very comfortable for those things. After breaking them in, it's the next best thing to being barefoot. However, I walk dogs and have gotten stuck wearing them a few times, and after 5 hours straight of pounding pavement, I was left very sore. Best with socks but you can definitely go without, if that's your thing. I'm typically a 6.5 and usually need shoes with a slightly wider toe box. I tried on a size 7 in a store, which felt a full size too big (though very comfortable), and I understand that Clarks usually run large, so going off these assumptions, I ordered a 6. The 6 fit fine in length, but when I order another pair (and I think I will) I would either get a 6.5 or I would order in a larger width. If your feet are normal width, you'll probably be fine, but maybe order a half-size down.

I wanted a comfortable yet stylish suede boot for fall. This is a stylish desert boot and a trusted brand from Clarks. I got it in Oakwood suede. I wish the laces were a bit longer but not much complaint. Good fit, rustic look, and love the color. I wish there was more padding for the sole as it seems a bit flat. True to size.

There seems to be a lot of room in the heel which makes them feel even less snug on the foot. Conversely, I think the toe box area, the front 40% of the shoe, is a little snug. Maybe it's my feet and not the shoe? Overall, I'm happy with these. Clark's Desert Boot - The Clark's Desert Boot is a basically comfortable and attractive boot. The boot did prove to be a bit narrow in the toe area for a medium width shoe, and there doesn't seem to be much if any arch support. All around, though, the boot is very comfortable, and I am pleased and happy with my purchase. Thanks to Zappos for such good service especially for their excellent return policy which is why I will continue to shop at Zappos.

The Classic Desert Boot is back- For YEARS I've been waiting for the woman's desert boot to return. And it finally did! This shoe has the same fit and look as the ones I wore when I was 17. The low heel and simple design appeal to me and it fits like a glove. Order one size bigger than your normal shoe though!

The shoe's support is poor. I'm on my feet all day and there is no way I can wear these without my back hurting. They look good but they have to be comfortable too.

SO Tight! I love the look of these boots, and I'm sure they'd be comfortable, as all Clarks Originals are, if I could have gotten my foot into it. I normally wear a 7.5-8 and have a relatively narrow foot...these were so tight! Like I said, I couldn't even get my foot inside the boot! Order Up!!!
