I was a little undecided about the boots at first, but decided to keep them and now that I have worn them, I really do like them. I chose this style for two reasons: first, they seem (and others have commented) more substantial and durable than the classics, plus they have more support in the sole. Secondly, the only color I really like is chestnut (chocolate seems too dark, sand seems too light), and my daughter has the classics in chestnut, so I did not want the exact same boot as her. I do not really like the looks of Ugg boots in any style, but I have the Dakota moccasin, and wear them everywhere, even to work on casual Fridays, so I wanted to get the boots for the colder winter weather. I am short, so I do not like to wear boots with jeans tucked in because that just makes my legs look even shorter, but I really do not like the way this boot looks with jeans out, they look kind of like Roper work boots! But fashion-sense aside, they are extremely comfortable and warm, and I think that with leggings and a sweater-dress or a denim or flannel shirt-dress, they will look really cute. I wear a 6 to 6½, and I got the 6, which fit perfectly. I also have a very high instep and often have trouble with pull-on style boots, but these go on and off quite nicely, with very little coaxing. As always, Zappos exceeds expectations for prompt delivery and service.

Warning: This product is not what is used to be. I have worn UGGS for several years. My last pair wore like iron, they were wonderful. I recently purchased the same boot and the material came apart at the seam within 60 days. Zappos has been wonderful to deal with and offers great customer service. The bottom line is that the quality that used to be UGGS Australia is no longer. Their products are mass produced in China and the poor quality shows. It's a shame, but, in my opinion, they are not what they used to be and certainly not worth the money.

UGG's Ultimates are the best sole I have felt in an UGG! They give you comfort, arch support and grip in case of slippery surfaces.

I wear these boots all year. I am currently wearing them with thick wool socks and they are the best. In warmer times of the year I wear them without socks and they are perfect. I would have to say that they are the best boots for comfort I have ever owned.

The boots are very comfortable and seem to be warm. After wearing them for a month or so, the fleece on the insole has started to disappear! Luckily I ordered a spare pair of insoles. I do not want to order a new pair every month so I hope the original insoles were just lemons and the spares will last a long time.

So comfortable; only boot ever to keep my feet warm in snowy, wet, nasty winter weather. I could have walked the dog for hours in comfort. These are so comfortable and supportive that I didn't even notice if it had an arch support or not. Note that these Uggs are made to be used in wet weather. Some others are not. Loved the stability of the sturdy, deeply ridged outer sole.

I love these UGG boots. They are so stylish and comfortable. I didn't realize before reading about them on the enclosed slip that you wear them barefoot which feels heavenly. So glad I ordered them. Quick service from Zappos, as always.

I purchased these boots about 3 years ago and they still look brand new and have kept their shape. I order a 6 and they are absolutely true to size. I've worn them in the snow, during warm days and have had no difficulty adjusting to the temperature. I take these boots with me everywhere, even on vacation. I love the sole on these as they make it easy to walk for hours and I feel safe treading on a side of mountain (not hiking, just viewing) or just lounging at home. They keep my feet warm in the winter and cool in the summer. I roll them down for a new look. I have the black and love the idea they are so easy to keep clean. I have a wide calf, and still no problems putting them on! Very please with these boots and I intend on getting them in another color.

I bought them to wear as slippers so my ankles would stay warm with my long flannel nightgown. Great, and I can run to mailbox or if the house is cold in the morning, I am not. I never knew warm feet/ankles would keep the rest of me so comfortable. I also wear for short trips out but I need more support. These seem more durable than the regular UGGs that look like this. I should have them for a very long time. I also have a moccasin pair that I wear as is easier to put on in the middle of night to go to bathroom. These are for TV watching.

Love my Ultimates! I've owned a lot of UGGs (my winter staple) but these are by far my favorite! I can walk around in these all day and my feet stay comfy and warm. The arch support is perfect, great traction on the sole. My shoe size is normally a 9, as with most UGGs, but I ordered an 8, which fit perfect. Highly recommend.

I love my Uggs, and live in them when winter comes. However, they don't make the best commuting shoes, given the lack of arch support (that's the trade-off for shoes that are as comfy as slippers). But now that I have the Ugg Ultimate, I can have my slippers and commute in them, too! The black is a rich color and the sole definitely offers more support than the classic style without sacrificing the comfort. So glad I ordered these!

I wore these all winter...love them! They are not as bedroom slipper looking as the regular Uggs. I usually wear a standard 7 m but with Uggs I have ordered a size smaller because they stretch so much. This worked for me. They have better arch support and don't feel as floppy as the regular Uggs. They are easier to walk in than the regular ones.

This is the best boot ever! Ten stars for comfort and warmth! If you want the boot to stay nice looking longer (they are suede), I'd recommend getting the UGG Sheepskin Care Kit.

I love these boots! They are so comfortable. Unlike the Ugg classic boots, you will need to order your correct size as these boots do not run big. The ultimate short goes well with dress up, or dress down. My favorite!

I wear a size 11 and was concerned at how large Ugg boots make your foot look. I tried the Bailey Button and the Roslyn styles which were too unstructured. The Ultimate Short has more form, and a better sole for wearing out in any type of weather. It is really comfortable, especially without socks! They also look great rolled down.

I love these boots! I wear an 8.5 shoe size but always need a boot to be a 9 as I like to wear thick socks in the Chicago winters. Also I have flat feet so no arch support is always better for me, though this may not be true for all. The soles of these boots have been great in the snow, slush, and ice so far, providing good traction but still lightweight. I did treat my boots with UGG spray to repel water and that has worked nicely also.

I bought a pair of Uggs four years ago and I thought that pair was more comfortable and felt softer on the outside. This pair is definitely warm and the perfect height for shorter people (5'2" and under).

I am disappointed! I have the Ultras in black but the chocolate was out of stock so I thought I would try the Ultimates. The sides on the left boot were so stiff it felt like a piece of wood was inside. Support was good. So basically these are more comfortable than the classics and less comfortable than the Ultras.

Amazing! These boots are so comfortable and durable! I hate it when I see "slouchy" Uggs, but these will never turn into a slouchy mess. The rubber sole on these Uggs is perfect and offers much more comfort and traction than the "classic" Ugg. Seriously...why are the soles of the regular Uggs so terrible? The shearling in my ultimates has also kept very nicely. These are so comfortable that I just wear them around the house. I never sprayed them though, and I wish I had because after about three months of wearing them, the chocolate brown has faded a little bit. Nothing to really complain about though. Honestly...I would never go back to a classic Ugg again. Not until they change the cheap gross soles. The ultimate is definitely upper class compared to the other Uggs. I wouldn't hesitate...buy these! I bought my regular size 8 and they fit perfectly. I can take a 7.5 sometimes too, so I thought about ordering down to the 7, but boy am I glad I ordered my regular size! I'd say mine are pretty broken in by now, and they're still just as comfortable. You really shouldn't be disappointed in these. I bought my 9 year old daughter the triple bailey....and that was the biggest mistake ever! They looked like crap after a few months, and the shearling literally came out in clumps! I should have bought these instead.

I love these boots I purchased them 2 years ago and wore them out so I just ordered a new pair. They are comfortable and keep my feet very warm in the coldest winter.

I love my Ugg boots. I have a black pair just like this one and they are so comfortable.

I have wanted to buy these boots for about 3 years and I must say it they are a dream; they keep me warm and look nice for every occasion: jeans, a night out, and even for work. I am a standard 7 and they are a little bit big but the 6’s are too small.

I love these boots! I bought the cheaper version of Uggs with the thin sole last year and they were very slippery. The thick sole on these are great; I would pay more for this style for sure. They were at my door the next day after ordering. Gotta love Zappos!

Better than the classic style. These are more streamlined with the same amount of warmth. I live in Minnesota and I wouldn't brave a winter without them. I wear a 7 1/2 but I always order a size 7 in Uggs.
