An excellent looking shoe with good padding inside, however the shoe was much bigger than my current size 9 1/2 shoe and slipped on my heel.

The first time I wore these shoes, I thought they were great. Within a month, I started liking them less and less. The leather never really softened. The arch support is non-existent, and I have very high arches, so this was a problem. I didn't return them because I thought the leather would soften and I'd already worn them out for a few months. They do look great with jeans as well as dress pants.

I was really looking forward to wearing these shoes. I put them on and they fir just fine. I wore them to work, office setting, dry environment. I went outside to collect the mail and walked on some wet grass. The next day I noticed that the burgundy finish was flaking off. At first glance I thought the shoe polish exposed to the moisture of the grass had made it cloudy, but on closer inspection, I see that it is all flaking off leaving a dull finish. It is as if the finish had just been sprayed on and the untreated or off colored leather was the only thing showing. I am returning the pair and hoping that the replacement ones won't suffer the same fate. I am hoping it is only a manufacturing hiccup and not something more nefarious. I will wear the new pair and give another review when I get them.

Bought two pair - one had to be returned after the first wearing due to product defect. Finish was flaking off shoe

Sizing is the problem. I have worn a size 11 from every brand over the past 30 years - I just checked my closet and found size 11s from Zamberlaan, Cole Haan, Rockport, Timberland, Allen Edmonds, and Sperry. But, the 2 pair pof Nunn Bush shoes I bought are just too big. The shoes seem well made and nice, but my feet swim in them and I'm constantly reaching down to pull up my socks. They really do seem like good shoes, but I wasted about $100.

Upper is leather but is only glued to synthetic sole. Shoes have approximately 3 months use, although more than 2 years old. The upper is coming unglued from sole at ball of foot, in some places as much as 1/4 inch.

The shoes are cheap for a reason. Soles always wear out quickly and are not durable. This is the 4th or 5th paid of shoe I have bought from Nunn Bush and always have the same problem. Keep thinking they will get better and I am always wrong!

Nunnbush has always been a great shoe, however, this Lincoln penny loafer was narrow and the leather was so hard that it provided no comfort.

They are not durable. Not even a month and the rubber lace already coming off. I am a chauffeur and love comfy shoes like this but this pair is falling apart. Both shoes.

Waste of money. I purchased the Lincoln Moc Toe Penny Loafer in 8/5/2021 and was completely satisfied. It was comfortable out of the box. This recent purchase was not the same. Uncomfortable and unwearable. Unfortunately, I wore it for a day and couldn't return it.

So disappointed as I have worn Nunn Bush for years, ordered two pairs, both look like plastic. Sole showing wear after only one week!

This may be a good shoe for some - but this is a stock photo and the color is not burgundy that is why they went back - so if you like these in brown you will be happy - I was not - false advertising to me

I think this is the fifth pair of this kind of shoe I have purchased. The shoe is very comfortable, has a classic look and is reasonably priced. Risty

I am disappointed with the quality control of your product. The initial pair of shoes I received was in terrible shape. They were actually pealing. I did not receive a direct response when I left a voice mail message at your service center. After sending pictures attached to an email I did receive a response and things were handled efficiently. I received my new shoes yesterday and they are the quality I would expect from Nunn Bush. I was also disappointed that I had to pay $10.00 in postage to return the defective shoes. I haven't heard back regarding any reimbursement although I provided a copy of the paid postage receipt. Please have someone respond. I have purchased a number of shoes from Nunn Bush and have always been very satisfied. This is the first time I've had any trouble.

Bought these for my husband for Christmas and they fit well--my husband has wide feet. They looked good out of the box. My husband tried them on and wore them with a suit to church. The VERY first time he wore them in church and knelt down for prayer, it did something weird to one of the shoes... the outer layer of leather or gloss started lifting and peeling from the shoe. These were sold as leather but what TERRIBLE quality. After one wear to church on a sunny day (no puddles or rain), the shoe looks super old and poor quality. Very ugly now. It's not like he went to run marathons... it was CHURCH. Embarrassing to him to have to wear them for the rest of the time at church and also for me having gifted my husband the cheaply made shoes. One star is too much.

Interesting that I've been asked to complete this survey, like Nunn Bush really cares. I emailed their customer support team over three weeks ago and never heard back. Had to order three separate pairs and shoes, the Lincoln, and each time, within 24 hours, maybe 8 hours of office time, the shoes cracked and pealed...each time. I've been wearing Nunn Bush for many, many years. Something, however, is happening at the factory level and they don't last...NOT EVEN A DAY. Over the course of three weeks, I ordered three pairs, and they all peeled and cracked within the first day.
