Sizing is WILDLY out of whack! I wear size 10 in every shoe except Vionix sandals (9.5 in them), but even a size 11.5 in Bloch was painfully small in these shoes! ?. I had to buy a size 12,5 to achieve a comfortable fit! ?. I held them up to my old pair (size 11 from 8 years ago) and they are virtually the same length! Where is the quality control on this formerly fine old German brand? Beyond disappointed!

Order 1 1/2 sizes bigger than normal. I wear a 7 in tennis shoes...you need an 8 1/2. However, sending them back as they are very wide. Not really happy with the style but are very light on your feet.

Cute shoe. I'm sure it would have been perfect for Zumba, if it had fit. Be warned, buy a full size up if you plan to wear socks inside the shoe. I bought and returned these for that reason.

Not enough ankle support for high impact Zumba moves! I was hoping to use these shoes for Zumba. Although rather clunky-looking, they were light and had plenty of mesh for breath-ability. The turning point in the ball of the sole was well placed, and the soles had about the right amount of traction to allow pivoting without slipping. However, these shoes were not well cushioned in the insole/midsole (feet started to lose feeling after a few minutes of moves), and did not have enough ankle support. I fell and almost sprained my ankle trying a typical high impact Zumba move (eg. pony from side to side). I returned them and went with a pair of Nike's that lace up higher on the ankle.

Shoe looks great and feels great in terms of flexibility and movement, but it was too narrow for my normal size of 6W. I followed the manufacturer's recommendation and ordered it one size up to accommodate a wife foot, but that did not work. It just felt like a longer, narrow shoe. Zappos service was great. Easy ordering, and shoes arrived in 2 days.

This shoe definitely needs to be ordered one full size larger. I was wanting it for Zumba, and it was bulky around ankle.

My street shoe size is 6.5. I ordered a pair of size 7's. Right shoe was okay. Left shoe was way too small. Even on the right shoe, that fits okay, I felt the shoe doesn't provide enough ankle support. Fortunately, with Zappos's return policy, it was no trouble to return the shoes at all. I bought a different pair, Capezio Rockit Dancesneaker (also from Zappos), and it was cheaper, had more ankle support, and same arch support, I love it. Dance sneaker is a must for line dancing and zumba dancing.

I bought these for Zumba class and wore them once before I tore my knee. These shoes are very narrow and, as others have noted, offer little arch support. But they are not supposed to as they are a split sole shoe. I think they will take some getting used to but I definitely felt lighter on my feet and could pivot more easily than in regular fitness sneakers. I did have to return these to get a larger size as they run short too. Go up a full size to 1.5 sizes to make them work.

I love the color! I desperately wanted to be able to use this shoe for Zumba, but it was not deep enough (from top to bottom) in the arch for my high arches. This made the tongue unstable, and I could feel parts of the shoe digging into the top of my foot. Also, could feel the bottom part of the heel sole digging into the soft part of my heel. Beware, the heel sole has two V looking parts. The one on the inner side of the heel can compress a nerve and cause damage if you are not careful! I liked the Bloch Evolution much better - the heel sole does not have those two V areas, and it is just an overall much more relaxing shoe. I wear a size 10 street shoe, ordered an 11 in this and it fit fine.

I have really bad flat feet, so I found that my shins became very irritated from dancing in these. Maybe I just have to add a support insert.

I read the reviews, so I ordered up a half size - it wasn't enough. I have a wide foot and these seem to be quite narrow. I'm disappointed, because I really like the style and mesh. I was going to wear them to Zumba. Bloch - please offer wide shoes!

I ordered these in my regular size first and they were way too small. I ordered them in the next size up and I kept them but they just fit. Good for Zumba.

Wide feet - beware! I read the reviews, ordered up in size, ordered 4 different dance fitness shoes from Zappos, and kept this one. I usually wear a 7.5 wide. I ordered the 8.5 based on reviews. It felt fine. Highly cushioned. When I walked around on our carpet, it felt like it could handle my wide foot. Wore it to Salsa Funk yesterday. Noticed some numbness that I tried to ignore. It became very uncomfortable and I had to quit the class 20 minutes in because my feet were burning, numb, hurting like crazy. I couldn't concentrate on the dance cues because my feet were screaming at me. I've just wasted quite a bit of money and not happy! There are no dance fitness shoes out there for those of us with wide feet. Why not? There are a lot of us. At age 54, I can not exercise in pain. Get a clue, shoe manufacturers. But for you girls - beware! This shoe will feel good out of the box. But the test is actually zumba-ing in it. It does swivel nicely on the hardwood floors, better than regular fitness shoes.

I've been doing Zumba for 2 months now. These shoes are okay. The first time I wore them, they hurt like heck. Second time was better, but they are not as comfortable as I was expecting based on other reviews. I ordered one size up and they fit good. I probably won't buy these a second time. I'm not sure I like the split sole.

I ordered a full size up and the fit was right, but the toe box was a bit too narrow and pointed, and there were some strange lumps & bumps in the right heel. I'm keeping the Nike Musique IVs and returning the Blochs. Thank you, Zappos!

They shoes run very small. I wear a 7, ordered a 7.5 and still too small. I like everything else about the shoes, just hurt my toes. Thought they might fit better after wearing, but not yet.

I bought these because they were recommended as a dance sneaker for folks with wide feet who were starting Zumba classes. On the plus side, they are a very comfortable fit. On the negative side, I would prefer a more conventional style that did not have a high heel and high arch. Hopefully I will locate a wide-size style soon that has more resemblance to an ordinary aerobics shoe. My Zumba class jumps around a lot, and I do not get a good feeling of support and balance from this style. These shoes might be better for a person with a more dance-y background. Also note that you must order these a full size larger than your other athletic shoes.

I purchased these to replace an older Bloch dance sneaker, "Salsation", that I found very comfortable and perfect for dance classes and Zumba, but is no longer available. As with the Salsation, I bought it 1.5 sizes above my street shoe size and it fit well. My only complaint which is a bit irritating, is that it seems the ridge across front sole near the arch is deeper cut and wider in this pair, and if the floor is ever so uneven (as wood floors sometimes are), I find the sole catching and slowing me a bit. It is also not as smooth across the floor in general. I kept them, but I would not purchase them again or recommend them.

Zumba shoe!
Hi, got these for Zumba. I wear a 9-9.5 and I bought the 11. I have a high arch and plantar fac. so I need to put an extra insole in, as there is no arch support. My arches are tired at the end of class. But this shoe helps me do the moves in class now because the sole doesn't stick to the floor like my cross trainers. I might try a shoe without a split sole next time.

Disappointed in the shoes -
I unfortunately do not have a glowing review for this shoe. I was very excited to receive them and they did arrive very quickly. (Like the other reviewers, I decided to err on the side of caution and ordered a size 8, even though I normally wear a 6.5. With a thicker sock they were still quite snug, and I probably should have ordered another half-size up.) However, I wore them to my Zumba dance class for the very first time today, and looked down at the right shoe at the end of class only to find that the stitching was coming apart right where the suede part is stitched to the mesh part (on the top, just at the very base of the big toe). I must also note that I have a flat foot and there is essentially no arch support in these shoes. Perhaps I just got a defective pair. In any case, they will be going back today. I am definitely disappointed, because I did like the look of the shoe.

Mesh Sneaker -
I had read that the shoe ran small so I ordered a full size larger. It fits but is very snug. I'd order a size & half larger next time. It also does slide very easily on the gym floors so I tend to be very careful when doing step aerobics. I wish it had more traction. It is a nice looking shoe otherwise and comfortable if it wasn't so tight.

Cute, however, runs very small -
Bought these to workout in... wow are they small. I would say 1 to 1 1/2 sizes larger depending on the leg work you are going to be doing.

Shoe girl -
These run really small and narrow and I didn't think they were all that great looking...still searching for a comfortable exercise shoe.

Couldn’t get over the feel -
Let me first say that I'm not a dancer and I bought these sneakers because they were unique. The quality is good in the shoe, but I just couldn't get over there being no sole in the middle section (i.e. the arch). It just felt weird having a shoe be that flexible, which, I know, is the point when you're dancing, but not in just regular everyday shoes. So I'm sending them back.
