AMAZINGLY COMFORTABLE!!!
To start off with, I am not a high heel kinda girl. I'm barely a low heel kinda girl, so I was skeptical as to the comfort and support spoken of in other reviews. These shoes are wonderful. I'm not a dancer, but I've been cast in a community theater production as a Hot Box Girl and needed something with a heel to learn choreography in. I never once worried about the heel breaking on me or my arches hurting. These are easily as comfortable as my favorite sneakers. I'm thinking about buying them in another color. I did follow others' advice and ordered wider than my normal size, so go big or go home!

Orthotic Friendly/removable footbed -
What a great find Tic Tac Toe shoes are. For those of us who NEED to wear orthodics, here is a reasonably priced shoe selection with some style that is, in fact, orthotic friendly. Additionally, they come in a D width. After purchase simply remove the standard lining, which is only slightly glued in place, insert your own orthodics and you are good to go. Consider a wider width if the toe bed is too tight on the width you normally wear.

Great shoes -
We wear this type shoe when singing in Sweet Adelines, Int. I also used to wear them square dancing. They are so very comfortable! And I love to have no shipping charge.

Finally, a narrow tap shoe!
I have had trouble for 15 years finding narrow width tap shoes for my girls. These fit the bill/(foot)! We've never had one that also had the padded insole.
This is a great value!

These are perfect -
After trying on a series of dressy shoes, I finally decided to try these. They are perfect. Going on previous reviews, I ordered an 11 instead of 10-1/2, and am completely happy. The heel is exactly the right height (I am tall), they are flattering to the leg, they are comfortable, and I see no problem with wearing them in everyday life, not just on the stage. I wish Capezio would make these in about a dozen more colors--and that other manufacturers would take some hints from Capezio on how to make a really comfortable and pretty shoe.

Great For a Wedding!
My daughter searched and searched for some white wedding shoes she could dance in! We finally thought to look for actual dance shoes and these are available in white! They are perfect and in a good range of sizes and she loves them!!! They ought to show them in the wedding area as well!

I tried on a similar shoe at a local dance shoe store, but needed a larger size which the store did not have. I saw these on line and want to say that shoes are of a good quality and the price is much more reasonable than my local store. I ordered 1/2 size up and if you expect to wear anything thicker than nylon hose then maybe you should consider ordering a full size up. I need to return mind only because I thought they were the regular dance shoes, but they're the ones you add your own heels and taps.

Really disappointed. The shoes were very comfortable but felt about a half to full size smaller than marked. On the black pair, the right shoe was perfect but the left was short even though they were both marked 10W. Now, the larger sizes are not available. Had to wait over a week to get them too! :(

This is a good shoe. It is almost impossible to find taupe shoes now; they are very flattering. The toe box is roomy and 1 1/2 inch heel is perfect for walking. I don't use them for dancing; they are the only pretty shoes I could find to wear with a dress. One thing is that I wish Capezio made them in real leather in this color. They do make black, but don't get me started about black!!

I have an older pair of these and the new model is shorter and narrower. A plus is that it is more stable. I'm using it for harp playing, not dancing.

These shoes are just right for work and fairly comfortable. They do run a bit small, so I ordered a half size larger like the other reviewers advised. They are a nice, neutral color, so they go well with lots of colors.

A very comfortable shoe when you get the correct size. Believe the reviews that say this shoe runs about a half size small; I ordered my "real" size - 6 1/2W - and had to return it for a 7W, which fit fine.

Price is right!
I'm using these shoes for beginning Ballroom Dancing and they're just fine. I didn't want to spend too much & feel this is a good value compared to the prices of other dance shoes.
I like more cushion inside so I inserted a foot pad. The shoe runs small & I had to exchange the size. But Zappos took care of it 1-2-3!! I even have my son using Zappos.com!!

A great shoe for the money!
This is a very stylish and incredibly comfortable shoe! It's not leather so it isn't quite the fashion statement leather would make BUT for the price it is fabulous. The sizes do run very small; I got 1 1/2 size larger than normal and it fits perfectly.

Dancing Shoes -
I bought the shoes wide but the toe part is tight. I have to stretch them out a little more. I went a 1/2 size up but they were too big. I am pleased with the shoes.

Good, basic character shoe -
I put "felt true to size" below, but it felt maybe a quarter size smaller than marked. I think going a half step up would have been too big. I ended up slathering the upper with mineral oil and then stuffing it with tissue paper to stretch just a little more for comfort. It helped a bit, although I think a leather upper would have stretched more. On the whole, though, the shoe is light, a nice, manageable heel for dancing, and mostly broken in.

Tap Danced for 15 years -
I've tap danced for 15 years and we have had excellent luck with this shoe. I'm surprised at people saying they've had to buy larger, I've always purchased my size. I find that they stretch comfortably even if they're man made and have had bunions all my life and never had a problem with the fit of this shoe or the comfort.

Capezio's Jr. Footlight Sizes-
I've had to return my original size 8 Capezio shoe and re-order a 1/2 size larger and added wide width. It is still a little small with barely any room from toe to tip of shoe. The comfort is great... feels like you're walking on a cloud and my feet do not get tired dancing, only at the end of an hour my toes seems to hit the tip and it's uncomfortable... just didn't want to exchange the shoe 2 times for a larger one.

Dance practice -
While this shoe would be great onstage or off, I prefer it as a practice shoe. I normally buy this shoe (in leather), but since over the years I've bought several pairs, it has become quite an expense. I turned to this shoe because it was a little bit easier on the wallet, and surprisingly, pretty worth it. Even though I do miss a good full leather upper, for day to day practice, this shoe does it for me. I ordered a half size larger than I normally would in a wide width, (but I really should've ordered a whole size larger...again, this isn't a leather shoe and it won't really stretch over time...)and it fits pretty well. I have yet to take these shoes for a test run on the dance floor, but I'm sure they'll be a pleasure to dance in....at least for the next year or so before I buy a new pair!
Oh, my only complaint with the Capezio line is the stupid elastic thing that holds the buckle onto the side of the shoe. While it does provide that extra give you need once in a while, it does weaken over time- thereby losing its elasticity. I guess it’s just a pet peeve of mine...anyway, overall great shoe-- so far it's been worth my pennies.

Buy a full size larger than your normal size! Other than that, this is a great shoe.

Order a size bigger!
Nice shoe -- this synthetic version looks more elegant than the leather one. However, it's at least a full size too small. I normally take an 8, ordered an 8.5, and I'm passing them on to a friend, who usually takes a 7.5 but found them a perfect fit. Meanwhile, I've ordered a 9.

This model has a harder, stiffer leather and runs narrow. If you have a WW width, like me, you will be pleased with the Capezio Jr. Footlight "Suede". It has a softer leather and is more true to "wide".

This shoe runs small as others have said. I take anywhere from a 9, 9.5 to a 10 wide. In this shoe, I ordered a 10.5 wide, that fits comfortably. It is meant for dance, though I intend to wear them under an evening gown at my son's wedding. I rarely wear heels as I have bunions and must have wide, comfortable shoes so as to not make them hurt and get worse. These are one of only two pairs of heels that I own.
