Love 'em! Like all Clark's, comfy right out of the box. Bought these because I knew I'd be doing a ton of walking, potentially in the rain, in Paris, and they didn't let me down. Roomy enough for thick, warm socks. Couldn't be happier.

I finally found the perfect boot for NYC's winter weather. They are also very comfortable for walking long distances on the hard sidewalk. OK, so one of them squeaks a bit, but who can hear that in the noise of this city? They look great too, and the design and workmanship is excellent. Thanks to Clarks, and thanks to Zappos for putting up with my many returns!

I bought these boots as a gift for my daughter, and she loves them. She is a salesrep and is in and out of the car, and client's stores all day long. She likes the sure grip treads to nogatiate snowy parking lots and slippery wet floors. The style passes well enough to fit iin with business slacks, etc.

Not only are these shoes great for the rain, but for snow shoeing too! The size I ordered was a little big, but fine with that extra pair of socks for the snow.

I wanted a pair of waterproof shoes that looked nice and were ankle height. I love zip up shoes so I was thrilled when I found these. They were comfortable from day one and since I work with horses all day I wear them at least 10 hours a day with a lot of walking. At the end of the day, my feet don't hurt and they look nice enough to wear out to the store or even the restaurant. My feet stay warm too! Summer hasn't come yet so I'll see if my feet stay cool in the heat. I'll definitely buy another pair when these wear out.

Best Christmas Present I Recieved - I love these boots!! Comfortable and they keep my feet warm. Use them around the farm, they are great. Getting a pair for my mom now!

I usually wear a 7.5 in dress shoes, with thin socks or less, 8.5, in tennis shoes because I like them a bit loose, and 8 in most other shoes. I have these in an 8. I am able to wear thick wool socks with them and get a snug fit. As far as width, I have a narrower foot but don't feel that my foot is swimming around in the shoe. My mother, who I bought this pair for as a Christmas present this year, has a lot of issues with shoes. She needs them to be comfy and very flexible, she has been looking a pair since I bought mine years ago because she enjoyed wearing them occasionally when she would visit. This is a great work boot, if you're going to be wearing it out in the weather or around the yard you'll be pleased. If you're looking for something trendy and fashionable this probably isn't the boot for you.

Great boot for our Nebraska winters when I walk dogs. Very cushy on the inside and very easy to get on/off. Excellent purchase! Fast service from Zappos as always.

I bought these to travel to Oregon, based on their water repellent status. I haven't gotten to test that quality yet, being I live in the desert of New Mexico. They are however, warm and that will be good for the cold and wet environment. Also it is important to note that your heel may slip some because they seem to run a little large. I am just wearing thicker socks with them for this reason. I also like that they do not make my size 10 feet look huge, as most of the other waterproof shoes I had tried out did.

These were just what I needed for a trip to Norway and Germany in November. Visiting farms, cities, and hiking in the snow. I stayed warm and dry and the look fit in above the Arctic Circle and Berlin.

This is the perfect boot for a Minnesotan, or anyone else who deals with a long, cold, snowy winter. It is easy to get off and on, generous in the toe so you can add wool socks and waterproof. I love mine and I am so happy that I found them.

I wore these boots for the first time today. It was raining and our weather turned cold. This is the first time my feet have not gotten cold. They are warm and so comfortable. I wore them most of the day and my feet never felt tired. Very good support. Love Clarks shoes and boots, also love the service from Zappos.

I love these boots! I bought the brown ones last year and liked them so much that I decided I needed the black as well. I work outdoors and in the cold, and often wet weather, they keep my feet toasty warm and dry. They're also easy to clean off when they get muddy. I usually wear a 7 1/2 and the size 7 fits just right. Buy these boots...you're tootsies will thank you!

This company is incredible! I had bought these boots and wanted an additional pair. When I contacted Zappos, they were out of the item but said that they would contact me when they came in. True to their word they did! I was thrilled as I had forgotten all about my request. I got the last pair and they sent them at record speed. I am truly a satisfied customer who will definitely continue shopping at Zappos.com.

Absolutely nothing better on the market! I am a horticulturist. My Clarks Derby boots have been on my feet year-round for 4 solid years, and my feet have been dry, supported and totally comfortable in constant outdoor environment (water, mud, more watering of retail garden center plants daily) where my shoes were wet but my feet always dry! And they don't look like a man's work shoe! I'm scared they've dropped the shoe from the line. I'll buy as many as I can get in size 8(M)!

This is an updated review. I originally bought these boots in Dec. 2008. I still like them and I use them almost daily in the winter to walk the dog. I wanted to make note that the tread on the soles of both boots is completely smooth now. You have to be careful because it doesn't grip as much due to this. I've only had them for one year and I'm disappointed that they didn't last longer. However, I did like them enough that I would buy another pair.

I wore these boots through 5 years of Buffalo, NY winters and those long muddy springs. These are the first boots I've ever put on my feet that kept them WARM through the slush, freezing rain, and snow. I brought them with me when we moved to California and the zipper on one boot finally just "died" and the tread on both soles gone! Sad day. They are the best dog walking boots you'll ever hope to own! Hope I can find another pair in my size soon!!!

These boots are great. They are waterproof, warm, comfortable and look great. They have become the boots I wear every snowy day.

The archetypal dog-walking shoe. I'd been looking for something to replace Clarks Capulin (which they no longer make; dumb move, Clarks!). The Derby has the added benefit of increased ankle support, and the width is just right. I'm a size 8.5, and the 8 fits perfectly, even with wool socks.

They are functional, warm, extremely durable and easy to put on. I own 3 pair and one pair is six years old and still like new!

My name is Michal and I'm an addict. Best shoes I ever had. The coolest look plus they perfectly nurse my aching ankles. I have 2 complaints, though: 1) the squeaking is seriously embarrassing, 2) the recent change of the black shoe: leather from slick smooth to "wrinkled" and hip orange lines to boring grey. Why is that?
