I bought these to replace an original pair purchased10 years ago when keen first came out. I am disappointed in that there is less archsupport, less width in toe box, smaller all over than the original ones. Had to return them.

Miss my old Keens. Been wearing Newport size 8 for years. Based on reviews ordered 8.5 and 9. Had to return both. Too snug and felt more lightweight and less stable and durable than my old Keens. Maybe just the difference between the Newport and the Newport H2. As always Zappos customer service rocks!

Hard to get on as the "slip" onto the foot and there are no straps to make access easier. This is the only thing I dislike about this shoe. Once on, it's heaven, but getting it on is a drag...literally!

The Clearwater CNX works better for my foot, because it is a little less bulky and wide. My normal 8 worked fine in both cases, but I prefer the lighter CNX so will stick with that when I get my next color choice. :)

Shoe was tight around the ball of the foot. Tight around the toe area. Difficult to get foot in, once on it felt too short and smaller than other Keen shoes.

I have been searching for a walking sandal that were supportive for high arches, and after a friend raved to me about how comfortable and supportive her Keen sandals were, I decided to try them. I called Keen and asked them about their sandals as to support. The representative did tell me that Keens are not designed to control pronation or be extra supportive for arches, but she recommended the Newport H2 as the most supportive. So, I decided to try it; but no joy. The sandal felt both too large and too wide. And, almost no arch support. Definitely not designed for high arches. I have had to return them.

I really want a pair of sneaker sandals for days where I spend hours on my feet; however, I have not been able to find a pair that is comfortable for the long haul. I felt like these would have provided all day comfort and support, but they were just too hot. I have a weird thing that I cannot stand my feet to be at all sweaty, so I spend a lot of time in wicking socks or open sandals. I can't (won't) wear socks with these shoes and there just isn't enough ventilation to go barefoot.

I ordered up half size per recommendations but my usual size would have been fine to wear without socks or orthotics. Unfortunately, since these have zero arch support, I did need orthotics and mine don't work with this shoe. Not as ugly as I'd expected but very clunky. I'd have worn for hiking/outdoors only. If you care about looks, Anhu Tilden is much more streamlined.

Had had 4 different Keen sandals and each had a very different footbed. Only the Newport H2 had the most comfortable bed and decent arch. The footbeds look very similar but the Venice was very hard/uncomfortable. The other issue, with all pairs, is that the heel wears very quickly and faster than other parts of the sole. For the price, I'd really like to see Keen modify the heel so it doesn't wear down to the sublayer.

Clown feet - I loved the idea of this shoe...water, terrain, etc. But when I put them on, I felt like I had clown shoes on. The protective toe is a great idea, but it makes the front of the shoe much wider than the other parts, esp if you have narrow feet like I do. I guess I'll look for another style or brand.

Something has changed in the way Keen has made their shoes. The sizes are running much smaller and the arch support has moved closer to the ball of the foot so it is awkwardly in the wrong place. I even tried going up a size to correct the placement and it just didn't work. Still in same spot. So disappointed as I have had a pair of these for years now and the last two I have purchased have been this way. This used to be my favorite shoe and I recommended to everyone.

The fit was not at all like previous Keen shoes I had purchased, which fit me well and were very comfortable. These were miserable - seemed to pull my foot to toe in -NOT what I was looking for at all. What a huge disappointment. Don't know whether to try Keens again or not.

This has been my go-to sandal for years, comfy for my wide feet. Though I ordered the same size I always do, this was much too narrow for my feet.

While the shoes were a little narrow, was confident that had a kept them they would have eventually stretched. The problem was at the ankle. The shoe was choking my ankle.

I have worn this shoe - the KEEN Newport H2 - for as long as they've made them. This is not the same shoe...felt cheap and stiff. Made me sad to see the quality change. They are my go-to sandal for summer.

right toe box is narrow - these do not fit quite like another pair of the same model recently purchased. The difference may fall within tolerance, but it is not wearable for me.

The strap around the ankle was too tight and can't be adjusted. Within the first step I could tell it would form a blister if I walked more than half a mile in the shoes.

Too small, foot bed changed, so arch support differs from previous pairs of keen sandals

Have worn Keen Venice sandals for years. No longer available, so went with the similarly styled Newport, in the same size I've worn in my previous 8 pairs of Keen. Very tight across the top of foot, and not wide enough. My foot feels squished in this sandal. (I don't have a particularly wide foot, but I always liked the extra room in the toe box of Keen shoes--not these though!) They'll be going back.

I have had these shoes in the past and they were much nicer. The material feels cheaper, the size seems smaller, and they were not comfortable. I am returning them.

To me, this sandal runs small. I wear an 8.5 in most shoes. In some brands and styles, I wear an 8. In sandals, I usually wear an 8. I have low density feet which means that many shoes are loose on my feet and I need laces to ensure a snug fit. I have a pair of size 8.5 Keen Newport sandals from many years ago and they fit well. This new pair feels like the toe box is smaller and I can feel my big toe hitting the upper part of the shoe at all times. These also feel tight on every part of my foot to the point where I could not wear them on a recent trip due to my feet being swollen from all the travel and hot temperatures. I ordered a size 9 to see how those felt. The jump from a women’s 8.5 to a 9 results in the shoe itself being a lot bigger. Sasquatch kind of big. There is no way I would wear the size 9 with shorts. I don’t wear a 9 in any shoe and I certainly wouldn’t with this sandal.

I have owned a dozen pairs of Keens and am a loyal customer. However, the last 2 pairs of sandals I bought (Rose and Newport H2) have been so tight over the arch of my foot that I am not able to get my foot in, even with a struggle. I need sport sandals and will have to try another brand. PLEASE Keen go back to more accessible entry into the sandals

Not for people with high arches. Too tight on top of foot. Thought they would be more adjustable.
