So glad the Ibiza is back! I bought my first pair of Ibizas in 1998. When I needed new Birks years later the Ibizas were not being made anymore... so I filled in the gap with a pair of Arizonas. I love the Ibiza! It's a much nicer look and goes well with skirts, etc. It is HARD to break in... Much harder than any of my previous Birks for some reason. Not sure why? It does fit according to size if you know what your normal size is on the European size chart.

Darcy - I have about 17 pair of Birkenstocks and they are my favorite brand for comfort. I don't think I've ever worn a Birkenstock that didn't feel good. I bought the Ibiza about two years ago in black, and I have to say, these are one of my favorite styles, because they are a bit more feminine. I wear them to work a lot, with skirts and pants. I wear them to church, work, just everywhere. They seem to look good with anything I wear. They were a bit uncomfortable in the beginning because the strap rubbed and made my foot sore. I wore them with socks around the house for a few days, and now they are the very MOST comfortable little feminine sandal. I plan to buy this style in the brown, and any other color that they make. I'm hoping I can find it in yellow in my size. I highly recommend this sandal. They are very stylish and cute. When I read reviews saying this is not a comfortable sandal, my answer is: they need a break in period, but well worth it. Love em!!

Cute, but uncomfortable - I love Birkenstocks and wear them almost everyday. I have never been unhappy with a pair, until I bought my pair of Ibizas last summer. I have tried to wear them a number of times but the lower strap cuts my foot. I have tried to wear them in for the past year and I still can't wear them without cutting my feet. It is very unfortunate, I wish I could return them, but I tossed the receipt and box after I got them in the mail. My advice, don't buy unless you have tough feet.

Marked WAY smaller than true size - I love these shoes, but they are marked by Zappos WAY off. I need a 37, which Zappos marks as a 6-6.5, but I wear an 8 regularly. I got these shoes on vacation, and was unable to return the 38s that I thought I would need, and they have actually worked out quite well. Though, if I did buy another pair (if they ever come out with better colors :) I would get the 37. Beware of mismarked shoes!

What a relief! Because of back & neck problems, I must wear shoes that have my toes and heel on the same level, which are difficult to find. These Birkies do that without giving the clunky look of the Arizona or others styles. The leather is a bit stiff at first, but not enough to blister. My posture feels better and my feet feel like they are being massaged. I am ordering them in the cocoa, too. Zappos is definitely the only shoe store I use.

Classic Birkenstock comfort with a more feminine look - I've worn many different styles of Birkenstocks over the years. The brand cannot be beat for comfort. This style is no different although like all Birkenstocks, there is a break in period for the shoes to adjust to your specific foot. After that it's all good. The Ibiza is great in that it has the classic Birkenstock comfort with a more feminine look. Less "crunchy granola" looking if you know what I mean. You won't be disappointed.

Huge fit! Please beware when ordering these adorable shoes. They are 1 full size to 2 full sizes larger than normal. I wear a 7.5 to 8 normally, but in these I have a 37, equal (supposedly) to a 6-6.5! Also they are very hard to break in, but very nice and so cute!

Same great Birkenstock support but more stylish than the standard look…

New Ibiza sandals - I love my new sandals. I need a pair of black nice looking sandals and Birkenstocks are by far the most comfortable sandals I have ever worn. These are perfect. I have had lots of compliments. I was impressed at how fast I got them too. I placed the order and the sandals arrived soon after.

The best Birkenstock ever made! I bought my first pair of this style back in 1985 and I still have and wear them (I did have them re-soled though). I've bought several other styles of Birkenstocks since, but have never had any as comfortable as this style and definitely none as cute as this style (I've had several people comment that they like them because they do not look quite so 'granola'). I finally found this style again last year, so I bought another pair - still love them and will buy this one until they don't make it any more! My only two wishes are (1) that they would also make this style with the more cushiony foot bed that Birkenstock now has available and (2) that they will always offer it in black as well as offer it in other colors like red and navy! Including black, navy, and red!

Love Them! Birks are the greatest, and the Ibiza is very comfortable, although it took a few days to soften up the straps. The Ibiza is pretty enough to wear for dress casual. As always with Birks, I ordered the shoe in narrow even though I have a medium width foot. I wear a 7 1/2 and got a 38 N. The fit is perfect! I have plantar fasciitis and neuropathy. I won't wear anything but Birkenstock's.

My Favorite Birkenstock Style - I was thrilled to find these here; they're hard to find. I had a pair for years that I loved that were eaten by a new puppy, and I thought I'd never be able to replace them. I really like this style because it's less clunky-looking than most Birkenstocks. Had a little problem with sizing -- the conversion chart was wrong and they were way too big -- but the return/reorder was SO easy and now they're perfect. These sandals do take a while to break in, but I know once they are, they'll be my favorites once again.

Most comfortable sandals I've bought - I usually wear a size 8.5 but I got these in a size 9 and they fit perfectly. Also, these run a little narrow (I have wide feet) but so far it hasn't been a problem. The sandals had a foamy upper that I wasn't really expecting but once you break them in they are oh so comfortable! The suede footbed feels so soft that you could just walk on them for hours. I use them to walk around the university all day. Bottom line- I love these sandals for their great style, color (cocoa nubuck) and comfort.

Love these shoes!! Super cute! This was my first pair of Birkis. The feel of the shoe is a little hard to get used to because of the sole, but I wore them for a couple of hours the first two days to "break them in" and they are pretty comfortable now. Zappos is unbeatable!!! I have ordered many pairs of shoes from them. I ordered these shoes on Sunday night, they were on my doorstep on Tuesday. Thank you Zappos!!!

I've been wearing Birkenstocks for years, mostly the Arizona style. The Ibizia's took a couple of days getting used to, due to where the straps are, but they are fine now. I stand up most of the day at work, so Birks are excellent to wear at work, as well as everywhere else!

I like this sandal! I have another pair of Ibiza's, so I knew the new ones would be ok, and I was not disappointed. The Ibiza is less clunky looking than most Birkenstock's and fits my foot very well. The best part is the comfort, they are the best. Thanks

Great Shoes!! I am extremely satisfied with these shoes. My first birkenstock. It took a few days to break them in. I usually wear size 8 in an enclosed shoe and size 7 1/2 in an open toe shoe. I ordered a size 38 and they fit great. Also, received the shoes in 2 days which was GREAT!

comfort - You have taken this sandal off the market and I am very disappointed as this is the most comfortable sandal I have ever worn. It is very cool to wear in hot weather. I am very sad about Birkenstock discontinuing this style.

darker brown - I love the style and comfort of the shoe. The only little problem I had was that the color is a much darker brown that it looks in the picture! But they are still great!!

Birkie Returnee - I had a Birkie many years ago, and wore it until it just about fell apart. I really like the Ibiza design and decided to finally buy another Birkie after all these years. The only problem I have is that with a shallow instep, it takes a while for me to break in a Birkie until they're really comfortable.

hese are great shoes, the cocoa color is nice and they are very comfortable. I like the thinner straps, they are more feminine than the "Arizona" style. Great everyday sandals!

Birks rarely fail me... I love this sandal. The leather does take a few wearings to feel less "stiff", but after that it is just great. The fit is comfy and the look is much nicer than the Arizona. Great for those really hot days or just lounging around the house.

So glad they are back! I used to wear this style all the time, then I couldn't find them anywhere, I had every color pink purple red black tan navy and brown! I think they are more feminine, they just look more girlie! I only wish I could get the pretty colors again. I dont really like the white soles they tend to get dirty too easy.

Nice Birkenstock - It has taken a while to break in these shoes because the top buckle hits my arch a little high, but they are a nice addition to my Birkenstock collection.

Pure comfort, look no further - This is my 4th pair of Birkenstocks this summer. I have rediscovered them after not wearing them for about 20 years. They are comfy, supportive, and the styling has come a long way. These sandals are cut lower on the foot, but they stay on beautifully well. I bought them in white, and intend to buy them in another color. Since the buckles adjust, as they get wider they are easy to adjust. I highly recommend them, especially if you have a narrower foot. Just a hint-if you have a medium to narrow foot, buy your regular size in a narrow. All the =Birkie brands tend to run wide. If you've never shopped Zappos.com before, you're in for a treat. The service, selection, and speed of receiving your order is second to none. I'm a die-hard fan!
