Wow- I wasn't expecting to love these sandals so much! First of all, I thought there would be sizing issues due to the recommendation to consider downsizing. I decided to order my usual Naot/Mephisto/Birkenstock size (39) and they fit perfectly! There is so little extra room that if I had downsized to a 38, my heels would have been hanging over the back of the sandal. Secondly, these have the replaceable footbed/insole. Zappos- please get these in stock!! They are the Naot "Campus" insole/footbed. The Scandinavian footbed is too small. Having a replacement footbed is a game changer for me, since these sandals otherwise look like they'll last forever!

Wow, this was a loser for me. I love Naot sandals but this was a failure. I think this foot bed is not for me. Just flat and large. Didn't even want to try a smaller one. No arch support. I love Naot but not this one. I think there should be a notice when there's a different kind of foot bed. This one should be marked no support. Love the funky style. But not for me.

I have many foot problems including - hard to size & old overuse injuries from running. I have been wearing these shoes everyday since 2008! I really would appreciate some variety of style & color but can't give up the comfort. Other Naots run too narrow for me.

I have a lot of foot problems and these shoes feel good and give me the needed support.

Best Ever! These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn! I even like the way they look kinda rugged for a women's shoe, but I like it - - A LOT!

Great fit! The Mikaela sandals are the best ones I have ever purchased! I have a wide foot and was able to wear these without a break in time. Very comfortable for all day wear. Will purchase in another color at later time. More comfortable than my Birkenstocks (never thought I would say that)!

I measure a 6wide and all Naot shoes in size 37 i have tried on run too narrow including this one, although it is supposed to be a wide fitting shoe. I personally did not have to go down one size as Zappos and other reviewers recommended. The side of my foot hangs off the side of the footbed not allowing for toe splay. Compared to Birks Arizona these are not as wide as their “regular” fit but definitely way more comfortable. I actually prefer these. Also they aren’t as clunky as they look in the photo. May try to go up one size for a better fit. I love reviews, hopefully this helps someone else.

These definitely run wide and slightly long. I sized down one and the size is good. The straps are very stiff so take some breaking in. Wear them with socks around the house for a while to break them in. They take the Campus footbed replacement, which Zappos doesn’t sell… ????? (if you search for campus naot, this is the only item you’ll find. Zappos why not more Campuses?). I love the wide width, the sturdiness and adjustability of the straps, and as always, the cork and suede footbed, that does not have the big toe divider like the famous other double-strap sandals. They are pretty clunky looking, but these are my house shoes so I don’t care. Photos comparing the Scandinavian foot bed to the Campus. These have been one of the best purchases that I have made and I have made quite a few! These are sturdy, cute (not feminine but still cute), super well made, supportive and just all around great sandals. Theye are double stitched and have great soles which will no doubt outlive me and I plan on a few more decades! I am a daily distance walker and although the instep on my right foot was a little sore after the first time I wore them, I did not get a blister. I also walked 3 miles. The instep is higher than I am used to so it you have flat feet, these might be a problem. My feet are not flat but I do not have high arches and so I think that is what caused the slight rubbing. I normally wear a size 9.4 but knowing Naots, I order a 40 and they fit like a glove. Again, these are superbly well made and are very, very comfortable.

Great, comfortable shoes. Have been wearing them everyday since they arrived. There is no break-in period. I followed the manufacturer's suggestion of going one size smaller in this style, 37, instead of my usual 38. Naot's are the best.

Love these shoes - When I found these shoes online, the description said to order one size smaller than usual. I thought about it for awhile then decided to go with what Zappos was telling me and I ordered a 5 instead of a 6. Perfect fit...I will definitely buy more Naot shoes through Zappos.com. I wore these shoes on a trip that I had to take for work and didn't even know I had them on my feet. I love Naot shoes.

These sandals were “keepers” right out of the box!! I have several foot issues including wide feet and plantar fasciitis and these were so comfortable with no break-in time. A bit pricey, yes, but at my age comfort is worth a lot!

These shoes are beautifully constructed shoes and look like they'll last for a very long time. My foot is wide with a high arch, and I've been dealing with plantar fasciitis and a fractured heel for quite a while. While these are still new, I feel like the pain has diminished somewhat and my tooties look cute and stylish. These are definitely keepers!

Yes, these shoes are somewhat klunky, but I like the look and suspect they'll last forever. I love Naot's and am so grateful to Zappos for their patience and kind policies that greatly help a hard-to-fit country dweller. When I first ordered these shoes, I had to get a half-size smaller than I needed, but previous reviews said they ran a tad long. Once I tried them on, however, I was concerned the top seam around the shoe's outer edges would rub my already achy toes, so I sent them back! Tried several other options from Zappos but just couldn't get these out of my mind, so I ordered them again and now wear them year-round, with or without socks, with denim skirts or jeans, and with thanksgiving for long-wearing shoes from Israel! P.S. My long toes are doing fine.

These are wonderful! Every time I wear these, I honestly will think...wow, these are sooo comfortable! The footbed is supportive but so soft and the top keeps your foot securely in place. If I hadn't just replaced the footbed in my Finn Comfort sandals, I would be getting another pair in a different color. Naots are usually a little narrow for me but these are a bit wider and just perfect.

I just received these shoes today. They are so comfortable and run true to size. Naot sometimes runs narrow but not these. I am very happy with these sandals!

Classic sandal - A well made sandal, accommodates my orthotics. Their own footbed would give more stability to the shoe, given the molded form that they use on their shoes, but that said, these work for me and the leather is high quality. The rich brown is better appreciated in real-time.

I was looking to replace my favorite "around the house" shoes and finally found these! They are comfortable, easy to slip on and give my feet plenty of support.

The shoe fit well and was very comfortable but too casual for my current needs. I am returning it and have selected another Naot style. Naot shoes are my favorites.

From the other reviews, I was hesitant to order my normal size but I did and it fits great. They are comfortable and feel true to size. The straps are adjustable if needed. I'm glad I purchased them.

Great shoes. My previous pair lasted for many years, and I feel lucky to still be able to get another pair. Tried them on when they arrived and never took them off until I went to bed. Very comfortable. Keep making them.
