Took a few wearings around the house to loosen the toe divider. Now that that's done they are really comfortable. I'm not a metallic kind of person, but this has just enough shine to give it some glitz, but not overly done.

I wish I had found these a long time ago! They feel like they were custom made for my feet. They hug the foot - you don't "walk out of them" like other flip-flops. The arch support is amazing and they run true to size in both length and width. I am now on the hunt for Mephisto sneakers. As always - Zappos cannot be beat for service and quality!

Love this Mephisto. I wear a size 7 1/2 M width and the 38 fit perfect. I think all Mephisto's are slightly more narrow than other brands, however they stretch out. I'm not sure how it happens, it just happens! You just have to try them on. Word to the wise not all styles of Mephistos fit the same. This color gray is slightly metallic, goes with everything.

I loved these sandals! In the beginning they were rubbing against the top of my feet. I had to wear them for a couple of days to stretch them out but it's because I have an extra high arch and they were a little tight at first. But they are too cute to let them go. They are made of leather and I knew they will stretch. Now, I love them. I kept them because they look very fashionable for a comfortable sandals and they have great arch support. You can wear them with shorts or skirts. You can dress them up or down. I am very happy with them. My other favorites are Helens but these look little cuter than Helens with skirts especially.

I have plantar problems with my feet and I love these sandals. I am on my forth pair and will cry if they stop making them.

I absolutely love these sandals! This is my first pair of Mephisto's - tried on at a shoe store for fit and ordered through Zappos for price (great savings!). I have all kinds of foot problems and these have to be the most comfortable and supportive shoes ever. They fit great, feel great and offer great support. And I think they're really cute! I never want to take them off, so I'm now looking for my next pair of Mephisto's. Love Zappos, too!

First off I do not have an easy foot to fit. I am a 10 1/2 wide. Therefore, the Euopean sizing of 42 often works. These were a bit snug at first but with each wearing are a bit easier to wear for extended times. I feel I have so much more support with these versus a leather flip flop style. A far superior walking shoe that is better for my feet. They are also cute I really like them in black so the footbed is darker and they go with everything. I would order these again in a heartbeat.

Great looking. Love the footbed. It fits like a glove with great arch support. Runs very narrow, so that my little toes almost were off, and I do not have a wide foot at all. Tried a size up and the footbed fit much better, but the straps were way too big and made them clunky and floppy. So I will either keep the ones that are too narrow and a just a little short or have to send both back. Too bad, too. They are really comfortable and really cute. Not too often can you find a very feminine sturdy shoe.

Violette - The Violette's are very cute. I have worn Mephisto brand for several years now and have never been disappointed in the fit or comfort. The complaint I have with the Violette is that under the strap, where the flower was stapled there is a clump of glue that makes the top of my feet very sore. The workmanship on that section of the shoe is not what you would expect for shoes that costs as much as these. I have kept the shoes and rubbed the glue off as much as possible. I hope they stop making my feet sore or I will have to quit wearing them.

Love those orange sandals - Love the sandals…The look is so "feminine and fun". They are pricey and I wonder if they are really worth the price, although they are quite comfortable. I ordered them in my regular size 8, but they seem a bit long. I would try a half size down.

Mephisto Violette in Black - This Mephisto offers excellent arch support and is a great shoe for traveling. They can be worn with jeans, skirts, dresses, etc. so this sandal will eliminate the need to travel with multiple shoes. The one complaint that I have is the black bands left on my feet each time I wear them. I don't know if the other colors have this same porblem. I am hoping this will go away with time.

I ordered these and had to return them. While the cushion felt like I was walking on a cloud and the arch support was amazing, the strap cut into the top of my foot. I tried the next size up and they were too big. Very sad as I've heard all good things about Mephisto. Maybe it's just this style?

The flower is really not my style, but I ordered anyway because I love the comfort of the Mephisto footbed. The footbed was comfortable, but the flower was scratchy rubbed a lot, so I am returning the shoes.

I bought these sandals because I have terrible feet and a recent spine injury. So, I need a good, supportive shoe. It's so hard to find a stylish, support shoe. I was excited about these and put them on as soon as they arrived. I want to love this shoe, but I can't. They have given me the worst blisters I've ever had! I keep trying to break them in, but they just don't seem to get better. The footbed is amazing though. So, I'm sad that the rest is so uncomfortable! I have tried leather softener, stretching with my hands, wearing socks and I tried to put moleskin on them for extra padding. Nothing has helped so far. I have been trying to break them in for weeks now.

Leather between the to is twisted an not comfortable. Not even going to attempt to break them in.

Not good! First I love them, after one hour it starts hurting my foot and soon I was unable to walk in them. It left marks on my feet and it hurt so much.

I have 2 pair of Mephistos and like the support. This shoe has a suede leather foot liner and after a couple of weeks wear my foot began sliding and calluses developed. I am totally sold on Zappos. It is the only shoe store I use anymore. I use Zappos for my grands as well. They can get on line pick the shoes they want and "Walla" they usually arrive the next day. What a great way to gift.

Great-looking but uncomfortable - I got these sandals for a Hawaii trip, they have a great "aloha" look. The footbeds are very comfortable, however, being made of cork, they are rather inflexible. The leather on the uppers is very stiff and cut into my feet. I wore them once on my trip and wore band-aids on my feet for the next week.

This shoe runs extremely small and narrow. Very disappointed. I wear a 10M so will try the 11 before I give up. I gave the shoe an overall 2 stars due to the sizing.

Beautiful but very uncomfortable - I thought I would try this shoe because Mephisto has flattened the space between the foot bed and upper on the Helen's so much I can not even get my foot into the shoe. These were very pretty but very uncomfortable under the part where the thong met your foot.

I had heard wonderful things about Mephisto. I thought I was making a great investment in a pair of comfortable sandals I would own for a long, long time, but when I tried these on, they are so painful and so uncomfortable!! I was so shocked! Perhaps this style is simply not right for me. The straps are so tight and stiff, I felt they were going to cut into my toes and in between my toes if I were to walk in them. Unfortunately these are going back.

I can only walk in Mephistos, but not this pair. I wore this shoe for one day and had cuts all over the top of my feet and in between the toes. The foot bed is great, but even band aids can't cure these feet. It feels like staples are cutting the skin on the top of my feet.
