Good shoes - Pretty tight at first, but fit nicely after a few days.

Comfort - These shoes last about a year and need repair on the walking surface. In all I like the Florsheim style. Wish my size could be found in local stores.

Too Big - It's mis-sized by probably a full size, but I wore it outside before I realized how big the shoe is. I bought the 11.5 D Lancaster at the same time and it fits perfect. Can I still return the Victor for a correctly sized 11.5D or smaller size?

First time order from Zappos.com - I was quite satisfied and impressed with Zappos service. I was referred to the site to look at the "user friendly" method to view different angles and positions of the product(as a marketing approach...). After I went on the site to see the view options offered, I did some shopping. Since I wear 13EEE shoes, it is a little difficult to find selection, comfort and value. There were many choices. After reading about different shoes I noticed that the Floorsheim Victor is leather lined for comfort. The price seemed quite fair so I ordered a pair. The shoes arrived in two days as promised. They look great and are more comfortable than the same type shoe if unlined. I will be ordering another pair in a different color. Thanks for the good experience.

Excellent choice - An outstanding loafer. For the narrow foot (mine) this is an excellent fit. Initially a bit stiff, but breaks in quickly. Nice look and fits the bill for both casual and dress. After two weeks of wear, feels great.

Florsheim Victor - I'm not a "penny" fan, but wanted a classic loafer I could wear with a jacket or levis, without all the tassels and kilties, and this shoe fit the bill. I like the look, and the fit is terrific. They were a bit stiff at first, but broke in nicely after 2-3 days at the office. It is the first loafer I can wear that doesn't have an elastic instep. The interior of the shoe is very plush and comfortable. I bought a burgundy pair about 6 months ago, and just purchased a black pair. The quality and fit of both pair were identical. Also, as an unsolicited note - I shop a lot online and have purchased many pairs of shoes from this site, and Zappos' service surpasses everyone hands down! Their returns policy is as good as it gets. I highly recommend these shoes and Zappos.

Nice shoe for the $$$- These shoes were comfortable from the moment I put them on. I need wide so the 3E was perfect. They look good and are a good value for the $$$. I would purchase these again.

Fair Value for Money - These shoes are a fair value. They conformed to my feet, but that left the uppers "a little lumpy," detracting from the shoes' traditional styling. My Rockports did better for about the same price.

Almost a Weejun - I bought these to replace my current pair of Bass Weejuns, a shoe style I have been wearing for a long, long time. These shoes have essentially the same look, but do not quite fit the same. It may be that they simply are not broken in yet, but they seem a bit stiff at the heel and do not flex as much as I would prefer. A nice shoe overall that hopefully will become more comfortable with wear.

Very comfortable shoe, leather soles! Size EEE is always appreciated.

Victor Review - Zappos service/delivery was fine. Shoes look good, but were clearly narrower than expected for the specified size, and had to be returned.

Great look, some discomfort - The shoe looks great, but it is a little tight for an extended width shoe. May be a little larger than expected as well.

Victor Penny Loafer by Glorsheim - These shoes are exactly what I was looking for. There are so few shoes with leather soles. This is the first time I have bought shoes that a size 10D hasn't fit me perfectly. To my surprise I had to go down to a sixe 9D, which fit perfectly. Very please with the shoes and you quick service to the the proper size.

A step up from Weejun - I have historically kept two pairs of Weejuns in my closet for everyday wear as well as occasinal use in more formal outings. I decided to try a bit of a style upgrade and am glad I did. The look has just enough extra detail that I feel much more comfortable at a nice restaurant with the Florsheims while maintaining the laid back feel I want for work. So far the comfort level is on par with what I typically experience with properly sized new shoes. They feel "OK" but that should improveas the leather molds itself to my specific foot characteristics. I will likely buy another pair in the relatively near future.

Florsheim still #1 - This is my 5th pair from Zappos! Amazing service. With my 3EEE shoe size it`s always a choir to find a good pair of shoes. Zappos allows me to find a pair of shoes in a matter of minutes. The "Victor" is an all time classic, fits well looks great. Enjoy!

Good all around shoe - The Florsheim Victor is a nice everyday shoe. Fits well and looks good with just about anything.

Nice looking quality shoe. Too bad Bostonian quit making Penny Loafers. This shoe needs broken in; blisters in the first hour of wearing it. Should be fine after break-in.

Florsheim is dependable - Overall a good basic quality shoe for the money.

Troublesome fit - I ordered the EEE width which fit the front of my foot very well, but they made the back too wide so my heel keeps slipping out. I installed those pads along the back of the shoe and now the fit is a little better, but the shoes "eat" up my socks! Overall, a nice looking shoe but a troublesome fit for me.

The shoes were a second choice because the Bass shoes I wanted were not in stock in my size. So I decided to try the Florsheim. It is not as well made. I had the shoes less than two weeks and part of the heel started coming off. I used super glue to fix it.

Sizes don't work - The size 9D is definitely the tightest size 9 I have ever purchased. Unlike the Chester, which was tight to start with but loosened up with wear to become acceptable the Victor remains stiff and very inflexible. At this point I have decided they are not worth the trouble. The leather is just not subtle at all. I won't consider Florsheim again.

Inaccurate sizing - Because I wear 9 1/2B which are hard to find, I buy from Zappo's. Past shoes have been fine, but this time the only choice in the style wanted was Florsheim Victor. These turned out to be at least 1/2 size too small. I'm now having them stretched in the hope I will be able to wear them.
