Morton’s Neuroma and "falling" arches and these work! I've been diagnosed with Morton's Neuroma (an inflammatory nerve condition of the forward portion of the foot) surgery is usually recommended and I am trying to avoid surgery, while still working on my feet 8 hours a day. Crazy, I know, but I am in school and must work while I complete my program of study. Oh, yes this is relevant: I am 50 yrs old, post-hysterectomy, and 270 lbs, each of which can contribute to diminished foot resilience and resulting pain while working on one's feet all day/night. These Dansko Professional Clogs seem to be my life line. I had been wearing several pairs of supportive Clarks and Easy Spirit sneakers with the thickest most cushiony socks I could get. Both Clarks and Easy Spirit have been wonderful for me for years. With the development of Neuroma(s) and painful arches, my feet had become so painful that while I "hobbled" through my shifts at work, I was pretty much "laid up" on my days off and could do little around my home in off hours due to the pain. I had occasionally worn my Dansko clogs before, but I wore them this past week and found that the support they give my arches and the rocker action of the sole ease the pressure on the neuroma in each foot since my foot hardly flexes with each step. A little more sole cushioning inside would be nice, but I just wear my thick hiking socks. This week, for the first time in a while, I found that my feet were available for use during my off days! Amazing! I will admit that wearing the clogs took a bit of adjustment. I took three falls (months ago) when I first started occasionally wearing them at work. I now watch much more carefully when I step on uneven flooring as the entire clog goes and takes my foot and leg with it. I am a convert. I am likely to start wearing these clogs at home and work as much as possible. Who knows...maybe my feet will be available again (clogless) for my other love--dancing!

I've had my Danskos for 10 years - And I love them! I wear them many times a week and only now they have fallen apart so I am online ordering a new pair. Best walking and working shoe I have ever owned. I think they look really cool, but I don't suppose I would buy them for looks alone.

Comfy - These shoes are comfy from the very start. I put them on and wore them, not having to break them in. Great arch support and comfort. I work as a hairdresser and on concrete and these have helped my feet, legs and back since I have purchased them. I actually have 2 pair now and intend to by more. If you’re on your feet the "professional" is great. I only wish they came in a wider size, I got a size bigger to compensate for the width.

Dansko - Shoe fits a little tighter than usual and color not quite what I expected. Overall, quality great and wonderful price! Zappos shipped quickly - no notification that shipment in progress, however.

Dansko Professional Clog - A+ This is my first pair of Danskos shoes. I had heard from others how comfortable they were and they were right. I will own more Danskos in the future!!

Very Comfortable - These shoes were a bit tight at first, but not uncomfortably so. Each time I wear them they loosen up and become more and more comfortable. One of my feet is larger and wider than the other and this pair of Dansko’s is not as good a fit on that foot as some others I've had. I still highly recommend them.

Best shoe ever! So comfortable and cute! I recently had foot surgery and could wear these shortly after the cast came off, when my foot was still a little swollen. While it was a little uncomfortable to put the shoe on that foot, within a couple of minutes the shoe seemed to accommodate to the foot making it comfortable to wear. Now that my foot is back to normal size I wear these all day. I find the Latigo brown a very attractive color that seems nearly as versatile as black, at least as far as my wardrobe is concerned.

Dansko's fit - These are my first Dansko shoes. Slightly more snug fit on my left foot when new. Had my shoes for a month now and fitting better and happy with them.

I love Dansko clogs! I recently bought 2 pairs after wearing a couple of pairs out (had them for 10 years)! I found that I had to go up a size from the last pairs that I owned (I think that was when Sanita was making Dansko’s clogs). Anyway, they are still great and still have the same comfort. Highly recommend this shoe!

GREAT SHOES - I have a pair in black, too. Excellent shoe with great arch support.

The best shoes EVER - This is the first pair of Dansko’s I have ever owned, and though they run in an odd size (I need a 10 1/2 but they don't make that size) they are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned, and they look fantastic! THANK YOU!

Excellent Service - I was very happy with the shoe, but mostly I was impressed with the excellent speed at which I received my order just before Christmas. It was the next day, and we live in Minnesota. I don't know how they did it, but WOW, it was amazing.

LOVE THESE SHOES - I have tried so many shoes in the last six weeks and these are one of two pairs that I am keeping. I normally wear an 8.5 or 9.0 but the 10s (40) were perfect. First day - very uncomfortable and oh so heavy (they actually weigh 1 lb each). Tried them for a few hours each day (on carpet) for the rest of the week and decided I would keep them. After about 10 days - aahh wonderful - my feet do not hurt at the end of the day at all. I did stretch these out a little with some shoe stretchers since I have an EE fitting foot and this has helped. Considering they mark these as a Medium width, I would say they really will accommodate up to a wide fitting with ease. Some reviewers have mentioned that they did not like the color but I love the color and so do many of my co-workers who commented "ooh those are so cool, are they Danskos?" At work Danskos and Merrells are the number one favorite shoes and now mine too. Give these a try, persevere if they don't feel fantastic at first and I believe you will love these.

Dansko Professional Latigo - These shoes are just so darn cute! I have feet that pronate and needed a shoe that I could slip on and off easily and yet support my foot for correct alignment. These fit the bill. My feet do move around in them a lot and I don't think I'd recommend them for doing a lot of walking. But as an indoor shoe they are perfect. The bit of height is nice, too.

The most comfortable shoes I own - I was having trouble with foot & leg pain in my work shoes, and had read so much about the Dansko Professional clogs, so I decided to give them a try. I was NOT disappointed. I love these shoes, and they're great looking with jeans. I do have a hard time wearing these to work, but I think I'll pick another color that will go better with my dress pants and give it a try. It's now hard to wear any other shoes. I'd definitely recommend these to anyone wanting comfortable shoes. As per other recommendations, I'd definitely size up. I wear between a 9-10 depending on the shoe, but in these I ordered the 41 and they fit well.

Dansko - Great shoe, great service, nice and speedy!!

All day comfort... I love the Dansko Professional's and the Latigo is great to go with all colors. I wear them primarily for my job (nurse) that allows me to be on my feet 12 hours in pure comfort--no aching back or heels. I notice in hospitals everywhere now, everyone is wearing these---and no wonder, that says it all. The comfort and durability and quality is unsurpassed by Dansko.

Great Shoe - You definitely have to break these shoes in. But when you do they are the best!!!

THE best shoe for winter - I have really bad circulation and I stay cold all year even in our 100 degree summers in the south however, I'm miserable as soon as the weather turns cold. My hands and feet always ache because they stay cold. Even with thick socks my feet are icy. I figured out the secret to warm feet: Danskos. I'm not sure if it's the leather or the structure of the shoe but they allowed great circulation through my feet and my toes were toasty all winter long well, at least in my Danskos. They are great! Super comfy and great for wind, rain, and snow. I love them; there is no other shoe like the Dansko clog.

Highly recommend! I am an OR nurse and I'm on my feet for hours each day. Since I've been wearing these shoes, my feet hurt no more! It took about a week for them to get broken in, and I did get a few blisters. Other than that, I have no problems. I normally wear a size 8 women’s shoe, and I wear a 40 in the Dansko Professional. I recommend anyone to go to a store and try these on before purchasing.

Great shoe, sizing a bit off for me. I recently had foot surgery in June 2007, so I needed to invest in a pair of shoes that had a solid sole. I need this to prevent over flexing my foot right now as it is not ready for that. So I ordered these, along with the Dansko Professionals. I liked the color of these very, very much, but need to return them on account of the sizing. I have always, always, always been a size 7. Always. However, in these shoes the size 37 was too tight, and the 38 was too loose. It appears the way this shoe is cut I am somewhere right in the middle of those two sizes. As I mentioned before, I also ordered the Dansko Professional at the same time. The size 38 fit me perfectly in that style, it seems to be cut a bit snugger than the Latigo. As I have read from other reviews, this seems to be a common thing. So, as long as you're willing to do a little easy exchanging to find the perfect fit, then this is the shoe for you. They are very sturdy, solid, and well made. I cannot wait to get my Professionals broken in as I have read about from other reviewers. I also purchased the Dansko Lolita...those are the most comfortable sandals I have ever owned. Try those as well if you need a sandal. I am a Dansko fan for life now!

Great for work - The Dansko Professional Clog is great for work. I stand on my feet all day, and this shoe gives me lots of support. I would highly recommend this shoe.

Wonderful shoes greatest fit ever - Great fit comfortable to wear the first day at work. I’m on my feet for 12 hours a day and my feet do not hurt at all at the end of the day. Love the color could wear with jeans if I wanted. The shipping was fast got them the next day as promised.

Professional Latigo - Each pair of Dansko’s fits a little differently, as does each leather type. For instance, I found the Latigo and wool felt to fit more snugly than the suede or oiled. You may have to order a couple pairs of the same size in order to get one to fit properly. Luckily the first Latigo I ordered fit perfectly. It does scratch easily but the leather is attractive. Like everyone else who raves about Dansko, I'm on my feet all day and find them to be very comfortable.

Better than expected - After reading many reviews, I hoped this shoe would help relieve the pain I had in my feet, and knees from my long days. I was concerned about the possible bulky look, but ready to deal with it for comfort. As it turned out the comfort and arch support are quite good. The bulky appearance is much less than I feared. I can wear these with casual as well as work clothes, and have even been known to wear them in the house when my feet have been especially painful. The shoes actually seem to relieve the strain on my arches and knees.
