I came on to the Georgia Boot site looking for a new pair of boots. But I thought I would drop a review on my 12 year-old Giant Work Boot. Because in retrospect, they are the best boot I have ever worn. I have done EVERYTHING in them. Camping, hiking, yard work, home remodeling, etc. Rain, sun, snow, it has not mattered. These boots have passed the test. The tread is still in tact, and I don't have one loose stitch. I'm sure they won't work for everyone. They are heavy, rugged, and undoubtedly there are more comfortable boots on the market. But if you want a do everything boot, that feels bulletproof, that you can throw anything at them and they will ask for more, then this is it. For the money, the Georgia Giant Work Boot is amazing. Full stop.

Boots are "ok", a little wide . They would be a lot better if the insoles weren't built in or if the arch was higher

I bought these boots a month ago. And the metal shoelace tabs bend and pinch the shoelaces. I work on my legs and knees crawling though crawl spaces.

The boots are well made, but even with a medium width they are large. I will have to fill the sole to get the boot to fit better.

Not the right boots for my feet. The boots feel a half size larger. The problem was the stitching on the back of the heel. The stitching rubbed causing blisters on my heels. Probably not the best boots for comfort.

Bought this boot in January (2018), great looking boot "but" there was so little room inside the boot in the front part of the boot, from the bottom of my foot, to the top of my foot and side to side (the squeeze was on) . Took me weeks of wear and additional stretching to get this shoe comfortable enough to spend 12 hours a day in them. I am usually a 10.5 medium width, I'm not a big guy, 195 lbs and 6ft tall with mostly thinner feet. Unless you like to deal with pain for a few weeks or the hassle of returning them, I'd take a pass on this shoe. I don't usually buy shoes online and this is the reason. There's something to be said about being able to try a shoe on before you buy.
Hope this helps the next person.

I bought my first pair of GB in this style and used them nearly every day for 2 1/2 years. Best fitting, most comfortable steel toe I had owned. When the boot was worn out I took the label info and ordered a new pair. This pair caused serious heel pain and blistering. Seen this comment elsewhere here that the heel threads can rub the heel. Customer service is great and these are going back. Don't understand how the older pair was not a problem, maybe just variation in fit due to manufacturing tolerances? Still think the Georgia Boots are the best steel toe boots I have used. I would just be of the mindset that if the heel is uncomfortable when you first try them on, don't assume it will get better with wear in.

In less than six months the sole is already falling apart! I bought these from a boot barn recently and have mostly enjoyed them. However, I work outside, and this foamy sole, while very comfortable, is already deteriorating heavily on the one boot. The rest of the boots seem to be holding up as expected. I've had Georgia boots in the past and have always found them to be quite serviceable and was disappointed by this pair's lack of longevity and ruggedness compared to my last couple of pairs.

You may save a few bucks buying these but you will go through the soles 3 times faster.

Fit and finish outside very good. Sized bigger than expected so not that great a fit. Heel area has no lining just the suede side of the outside leather. Seems an odd way to cut corners on quality. Also makes these boots less able to keep back of foot warm in cold and or snowy weather. Would not buy this brand again after this experience.

Love the color and styling but to be honest I have gone back to my old boots for now. I developed a blister on the inside of my right foot because the buckle that holds the laces is irritating my foot inside the boot.

Not sure what happened to comfort and quality but its gone with these . Have worn Georgia for 20 years and never any issue. Now they feel cheap and not that comfortable. Had to add insoles on top of the other ones . The heels are very uncomfortable and the sides are separated already less than a month.

They felt true to size if I wear thin socks, but the rough interior finish would require very thick socks for me to wear them, and then the boots would be too small and tight. Instep area is very low, definitely not made for my high arch -- it was very difficult to get my foot into the boot.

Love the boot. But every time I order I have to cut out the shoe lace piece on the ankle bone area. If not metal inside rubs my ankle bone the whole time.

I'm a Nike size 15 and the size 14 of this boot was still too big. May have just been a sizing problem, but it also wasn't comfortable at all.

I will start by saying I am a fan of Georgia Boot, I've been wearing my Romeo's for every single day and love them. Picked this up because i figured it was nearly the same build. I am a pipefitter by trade and work long days, constantly on my feet. If you take a look at the stitching on this boot you will notice the heel cap doesnt actually cover the heel. It is about half way up mine. This causes irritation and discomfort that was nearly unbearable around my heel and ankle area. I wore them for two days before wearing them on a jobsite to break them in also, so it wasnt that.

First pair lasted a good year with great comfort. The second pair has been very disappointing. The soul of the boot is coming apart at the ball of my foot after only a few of months.
