Great shoe! I had to replace my previous pair and these are just as comfortable. Thank goodness the "classic" is still available! Great for walking and trail running. Took a couple days to break in. Glad I found this shoe again - my old pair was so worn out.

These are supportive, yet flexible enough for off-road running. Classy enough to wear with jeans too. Bought them to replace NB 781s. They don't breathe as well as some of the lighter mesh-type shoes, but that didn't bother me on the (summer) run. Size is similar to other NB shoes. Good quality, looks like I'll wear out the treads before the tops.

Great Shoes! I have wide feet and these are great! I also liked that the insoles are removable, so I was able to put my SuperFeet insoles underneath the regular insoles for maximum comfort! Two days after buying them, I did a 12.5 mile walk with no discomfort! I'm glad Zappos carries this style of New Balances, I've looked everywhere! I also loved the free overnight shipping :)

New Balance Always a Great Choice - New Balance makes excellent sneakers ... good quality ... always true to size ... no 'breaking in' necessary ... and, as always, the Zappos order and delivery is great!

Stay with a great classic - The New Balance w801 is a very comfortable and durable shoe. This is my second pair. I had the first pair for a while. So when I wore those out I had to get another pair. Why not continue with the best. And when these wear out I plan to get another pair. They look great, feel great and get the job done.

Thanks goodness it's back - This was my favorite sneaker ever when NB first released it. Unfortunately, they discontinued it. Now it's back, and it is the most comfortable shoe ever. Great for off trail running/walking, wide toe box. I think I may have to buy a back-up pair, in case they are, gasp!, discontinued once again.

Fantastic shoe - I have the narrowest feet on the planet...thanks to Zappos I can always find shoes, these are great, I wear either 8.5 or 9 AA depends on the shoe; the 8.5 worked fine.

My favorite sneakers - I purchased these sneakers in a size 10 about eight yrs ago and after wearing them to death, I needed to replace them. I tried various styles and companies and could not find a suitable pair of sneakers I liked as much as these. So I was thrilled to find that New Balance still makes them. However, I must admit that the size 10 (my real size) was too tight and a size 10.5 would be perfect, but either they don't make them in that size or I simply couldn't find them anywhere. Out of desperation I ordered them in an 11. They are a tad bit too big, but I'm getting accustomed to them and still love them… but would love them even more in a 10.5.

I love this shoe - I had these shoes 5 years ago, and I wore them ALL the time. When they were dead, I looked for them everywhere and swore I would buy them if I ever found them again, at any price. I'm so glad they're back! They are great for working out, running, every day use, trail running/walking... They are very comfortable and long-lasting. I ordered a size up, and that was plenty roomy. Great shoes.

Like walking on air! Love this shoe! I have a narrow foot, and usually wear a 7. I looked in some old New Balance shoes that I just HAD to replace, and was surprised that they were a 7.5. So I ordered that size in a N and they are soooooo comfortable.

Happy with these... This is my third pair of New Balance trail running shoes. I normally wear a 9.5 AA, wanted more toe room so got 11 AA because 10.5 AA wasn't in stock. The reviews said they run small, and 10.5 AA would have been fine, but at least now there's no chance of pinched toes. These are cushiony, comfortable from the start, lighter weight than the waterproof styles, and an added bonus is that there isn't any leather in them. Zappos is the best company that I've ever dealt with (fast credits, exchanges, shipping, and personable, effective employees) and delivered these within a few days.

So glad it's back! I used to wear these all the time. Then they disappeared. . . I have arthritis in both knees and these are the most comfortable shoes I own! (I wear them when I have to go to a big-box, concrete-floored store). This is my third pair of NBs, and it won't be the last.

These walkers rock! The wide toe box makes for a wonderful fit for those with "fat" feet. I'll be walking in the Avon Breast Cancer Walk & feel confident that I won't get any blisters!

I used to have these shoes in high school and they are still the most comfortable running shoes in the world.

Wonderful Walkers! The first time I put on these shoes I knew that I would wear them every day. They are so comfortable and I love having the wide-width for my toes. I bought them for a trip to southern France where we will be walking up and down hills. I love them!

Best everyday athletic shoes - Now, I don't run in this particular pair of New Balance tennis shoes (I like the 700 line for that -- 705s to be specific), but I do love these shoes for everyday casual wear. They are superbly comfortable and look great. This is probably my 8th pair, as I've been wearing them for about 8 years now. Note: I wear a 10.5 in these, even though I typically wear a 9.5 or 10. I can also wear the men's 8 of this shoe, which I do if I can't find my size in the women's.

Great shoes - I buy my sneakers online so I can find a better selection of leather-free sneakers. I liked the look of these sneakers even more when I saw them in person out of the box. They are very comfortable. Good purchase.

Great shoes - I had an old pair of 801's that I pretty much wore out. I was sad to see them go, but this newer model totally lived up to the old. They fit great, they are comfortable right out of the box, and the pink accent adds some color without being obnoxious.

Order 1\2 size larger than normal - I had to order half size up. I got the slip on and closed shoe in the same size, but the slip on was true to size and the closed shoe was smaller. They are very comfortable.

Great! Speedy delivery, great shoes! I love the 800 series...I had the 801's in HS but they were stolen from my gym locker. True to size, unfortunately my one foot is 1/2 size smaller than the other...but they are great shoes.

NB W801 - New Balance consistently makes great running shoes. The only reason I gave it 4 stars for comfort instead of 5 is that is lacks the arch support that I need.

Most comfortable New Balance I've had! I wanted to replace an old pair of NB 801's but could not find them in any store in my city. I found them on Zappos and got them in 2 days. I wear my new pair for work where I stand up all day and I wear my old pair for golf! Perfect!
