First pair of Birkenstocks! I LOVE THIS SANDAL! This is my first pair of Birkenstocks and at first, they felt a little strange. In fact, I wore them on an all-day shopping trip the day after I received them, and by the end of the day I could really feel the support through my legs. I've owned many, many shoes; nothing is made like Birkentsocks. I wear these sandals NON-STOP! A word of caution: I've never worn narrow shoes in my life; however, I had to have narrow in these particular sandals. I had the privilege of trying these on before I ordered them, and the regular width looked ridiculous.

Another great Birkenstock - This birkenstock is great. You can wear it for dress or casual. It feels great from the moment you put it on.

Great little shoe - For those who love their Birkenstocks, but want a lighter prettier shoe for summer dresses, this is great. All the same support from the sole that you need but with an upper that is barely there.

Pretty Birkenstocks! I love my Tabora Birkenstocks. They're really comfortable, and they look cuter than my usual favorite style, the Arizona. I wish Birkenstock would make this in many different colors--or at least black!

Tabora - Great sandal--this one is my favorite. I love all my birkenstocks, but this is my absolute favorite. The fit is great and most of all, they don't give me blisters. I've had trouble in the past with my sandals giving me blisters, but none of my birks have given me any. I bought the navy (blue is my favorite color) and I wear them almost every day. These shoes just get better with time. The more I wear them, the better they feel (don't get me wrong, they felt great out of the box) I wore these shoes all day at six flags and never had sore feet or blisters. I think that speaks for itself. Great shoe!!!

LOVE THE SANDALS!!! These are just really great sandals!! They look great, feel great and are holding up very well!! These are my summer work shoes and I really put them through a lot! If there is such a thing as a "sexy" Birkenstock sandal, this is it!! Great style, great comfort at a great price!!! Love Zappos.com!!!!

Fabulous Sandal - I was looking for a new sandal to take on my vacation. I love my other berkenstocks, and so does my Great Dane. I have a couple of pairs to send back to have the soles replaced. I usually do not like sandals that go between your toes. However, this is the first sandle of this type that didn't cause a blister or make my foot hurt. I will probably buy another pair soon.

Not bad for a Birkenstock - This is my first pair of Birkenstocks. I had to have a cork-bottom shoe because of an annoying case of plantar fasciitis. A little wider than I'm used to, but I can walk all day in these, and my heel does not hurt. They have a better look than most other Birkenstock shoes.

Great shoe. I saw this online and looked past it because it didn't look too attractive. However, I saw it in the store and it sure looked cute in person! I bought it and wear them in the summer. They are cute and very comfortable. I love Birkenstocks.

Comfortable and pretty - I have many pairs of Birks, but they were all pretty heavy looking. I needed a cute pair of sandals for summer and thought that I'd try the Tabora. It's comfortable and feminine. I love it!

Birk Sandals are the Best! Great sandals. So comfortable you don't have to break them in. Nice casual style with the excellent Birkenstock quality.

I own two pair of this style and four other styles of sandals, all by Birkenstock. I had seen podiatrists and worn retail inserts and custom inserts, but none brought complete relief for my poor feet. Plagued by plantar fascitis, I went to bed at night with painful feet and work with pain. Stretches and ice and painkillers and inserts over several years did not do what Birks did in a matter of weeks. I wear them 7 days a week! They aren't fancy, but as a schoolteacher on my feet all day I have to say they are a lifesaver.

What a great sandal! This is without a doubt the most comfortable Birkenstock I have ever owned! I was having problems with the arch of my foot and last summer I started wearing the Tabora. Not only did I receive compliments on the look of the sandal but my arch felt 100% better. I liked them so much that I've already purchased another pair for the coming summer.

I love them, they are so comfortable. No blisters! I love wearing sandals that don't give me blisters.

These are the cutest! I love sandals with a toe thong, and these are just wonderful! They have the traditional Birk comfort immediately out of the box; just wonderful!

Stylish and chic but falls short... Usually, I give Birkenstocks 5 out of 5 rating. But with this sandal, yes its comfortable, but the quality of the leather is really painful in the toe-loop and the ankle strap featured on this sandal.

Cool Style & Color - Because of the purple color, I don't wear it as frequently as other styles so it will take a little longer to break it, but it soooo stylish.

Nice looking and comfortable - This shoe is very nice...however, I did get a blister from the buckle strap on one foot. But I must admit that I have a tendon problem across the top of my foot and it swells. The strap kept rubbing across that part of my foot. I'm going to loosen the strap and see if I can correct the problem. I believe that the straps have to be broken in as they are not buttery soft and are rather stiff. I had no problem on the other foot.

Birkenstock used to use high quality leather on all their products, but not anymore. It is a thin piece of leather over a felt. After one summer of heavy use the leather has curled off of the felt on all edges. It's a shame because I love how comfy Birks are and these look nice.

BIRKENSTOCK FIRST PAIR - I Had to return the sandals because they feel wider than they should be compared to a pair already purchased in red in a store. Even upon replacing this pair with another, the fit was too wide. Sorry, cannot recommend these sandals to anyone with small or narrow feet.

Where's the comfort???? These shoes feel uncomfortable; like walking on concreate. Unsure how long will it take to break in to the point of the comfort factor. At this point, I dread wearing them. However, the style of the shoe is ok.

xenapt - This shoe is a great casual look with wonderful style

This was my first time ordering a Birkenstock shoe. I had heard only positive experiences from people who wore them, so was looking forward to getting Papillio Tabora sandals. I do have a wide width foot (7W), but not exceedingly so, and somewhat flat feet. I read many of the reviews, and read how people with whom I identified wore these sandals "right out of the box." I got them, expected to experience what I'd read about...that people were able to go on walking excursions with no break-in period etc. I put the sandals on and could not have experienced more discomfort. I felt like I was walking on hard bumpy pieces of wood. No matter where I adjusted my foot in the along the footbed, it was very uncomfortable. I am glad that I can return them without having to pay for shipping with Zappos, but I am so disappointed this did not work out, because they look cute for my purposes. Perhaps I don't have enough experience with Birkenstocks? Still, I could barely walk 15 steps; and I tried on a few occasions, much less allow for "break-in" period. I'll give 2 stars because the bed surface is non-irritating, but otherwise I cannot imagine what all the rave is about. I feel left out, and let down. Oh well. Thank you for easy return policy. I'll continue to shop with Zappos.

Love this shoe, but then I have quite a few pair of the Tabora. I needed a new pair of neutral colored ones as the taupe pair I bought years ago are done. I didn't necessarily like the "texture" that is embossed on the leather but once wearing them they are so neutral you really can't notice; they blend in with the skin tone really well. The fit is comfortable from the very initial try and everyone should own a pair or two, etc.

I'm a girlie girl who loves Birkenstocks and unfortunately it's almost impossible to find a girlie Birkenstock style. Then I found Papillio. I love that they combine the comfort and support of Birkenstocks with fun patterns and colors.
