The Naot Karenna is extraordinarily supportive in spite of being just a sandal. Unlike other high-end (expensive and comfortable) shoes, it does not throw my knees forward or back, but instead lets me stand and walk in a perfectly aligned way. It's wonderful for my bad knees. The straps have hook and loop material and are adjustable but not ideal as with most such fastenings. Naot is no exception. The straps are either too long or too short and there is either too much hook and loop material or not enough, depending on your foot and ankle. In my case, for this shoe, ideally the toe strap needs to be shorter and have less hook and loop material, and the ankle strap longer with more. But I can make them work, even with a light sock, so the shoe is a keeper. The color is an unusual greyish bronze that goes with anything and so I am also very happy with the appearance overall.

This is the year I discovered Naot shoes and I now have over 10 pairs! I have worked out what size to get in most styles and I find that this brand shoe is the only brand I can wear all day. Now about these sandals: I have 3 pairs of the Karenna. They are without a doubt the most comfortable shoe I've ever had on my feet. Also, they keep my heels, knees and back from hurting. I wear them all the time in the summer and I find myself wearing them with socks around the house in the winter! I'm not saying that looks good but my feet sure feel good. I have them in black, the pewter color and this brown lizard. The pewter color is pretty and goes with everything. The brown lizard is not my favorite color but it will go with a lot. I wear the Karenna in a 39 and I wear the styles without the removable foot bed in a 40. You cannot go wrong with these shoes or with Zappos!

These are very comfortable and seem well-made. I ordered the 36, which seem a little long in the front; but that's OK. I like the fact that the sandal is adjustable in two places.

I wear a size 7--this sandal was huge on me. Also, I thought this was a caramel leather sandal, but leather has a shine (glitzy) to it.

These sandals are great for those that wear custom orthotics like I do. The insoles come out, the opening is nice and deep and you slide your own orthotics right in! This shoe also has sides, so if your orthotics are built up, the sides do a good job of hiding them. They\'re not what you\'d call a pretty sandal, but they\'re somewhat attractive, and they sure fit the bill for me. I highly recommend them. Oh, and by the way, if you don\'t wear orthotics, the insole that comes in the shoe is very comfortable and substantial with good support.

Owned 4 pairs of these in different colors for 5 years. I wear them everyday; just replace the insoles as needed. Very durable. The most comfortable sandal ever. Even wore a brand new pair at Disneyworld for a week. Walked all day and I was the only 1 in our party without blisters and sore feet.

Wow! I now have shoes. The Karenna by Naot is the first shoe, other than a tennis shoe and my orthotic boot, that I have been able to wear in over a year, due to major foot surgery. My doctor approves and even recommended the Naot collection of shoes, most notable was the Karenna. For me the Karenna is a fashionable and comfortable shoe while providing the support for my semi-hidden orthotic with the removable footbed. I have shoes - sandals at that! Great sandal. Bought to be able to walk in, but still look okay for trips to Europe. Wanted black also, but the fit was not the same. That was disappointing. Feels very supportive, but not too heavy.

I have a wide foot and narrow heel. I also need to use custom insoles and lift inside my shoes. I tried at least ten pair of sandals before I found these. They are comfortable and cute, good for walking, and wear well.

I love these sandals! This is my second pair in five years! They are comfort perfect from the very first time I put them on, and they don't wear out! I have difficulty finding shoes that don't hurt my feet and these are wonderful! We just returned from the Black Hills, SD and I wore them for hiking and walking everywhere. No problem!

These shoes feel marvelous! I walked around the house in them for about three hours the day they arrived and was concerned that the soles weren\'t flexible enough. But the next day I wore them outside for a couple of hours of uninterrupted walking, and my feet felt great for the whole rest of the day. Love these sandals! Another color next year.

Zappos & Naot-perfect match - I love this shoe. I have two other colors in this style and love them. Naots are the only shoe I can wear due to a Morton's Neuroma. Have worn Naots for years and so glad to find them on Zappos as they are not easy to find in just any shoe department. Of course, Zappos great quick delivery and super customer service are a plus. Great sandal! I ordered these shoes on Tuesday and they arrived on Wed.! Talk about immediate gratification. The sandals are immediately comfortable - there's been no rubbing or chafing and I have worn them all day, their first day. That they are adjustable makes them perfect. Their style is basic and not particularly flashy or stylish. They are a simple, classic, and extremely comfortable shoe. They will be great to travel in as I will wear them with shorts and skirts. Doing business with Zappos is a delight for this gal who loves her shoes and is good to her feet.

Ahh! At last. I have just received my Karenas and put them on. They are instantly comfortable. I have found what I have been looking for: comfortable sandals. The simple, almost elegant design is icing on the cake. In the past week, I have thrown away $40 ordering and sending back ill-fitting sandals from other internet shoe companies. Simple but stylish quality sandal - Noat shoes definitely run larger than marked. 9.999999% of the time I'm a size 5.5 but I opted for the Noat size 35 rather than the Noat size 36 and I glad I did. Great basic, well made, sandal.

Naot Karena - This is my second pair of these sandals because I liked the look and the comfort of the first pair The velcro is wide and holds my foot securely, including my heel. If you are active and like to move fast, this is the sandal for you.

Naot Karena - This is an excellent sandal; however, I am still considering it because of my thin (and narrow) foot. The footbed is perfect. But I am going to take the shoe to a good shoe repair shop and ask if he can shorten the straps. The ankle one is so long, the Velcro barely hooks. The toe strap is very long too, though I could make it work. If I had a fatter foot, I would keep this for sure. As is, I have to check to see about the change in straps before I can wear this. Naot Karina sandal - This is my second pair. Oh so comfortable and good arch support in a sandal. Because I bought my first pair in a retail store I knew my right size. I wear a 7 1/2M shoe in US sizing. The chart says a 37 equals the US size 6. If this was a closed toe shoe I would need a larger size, but in the sandal the 37 is a good fit. My big toe comes just to the edge of the footbed. I love the suede footbed. My old ones were smooth leather. I love these shoes.

I am very impressed - I ordered these shoes on line and was so delighted with the speed at which I received my shoes. I was so excited to find all the shoes I could order through Zappos. I love Saucony shoes and cannot find much of a variety in stores. I've always liked red and decided to be bold and get some red shoes this time. I love them.

Karena - I love Naot shoes. This Karena is one of my favorite of all. I, too have many problem with my feet and Naot always seems to fit my need. I just got back from a trip to Colorda and the only shoes I took were two pair of Naot for a week of seeing and walking the country side. They never let me down. Please keep making these wonderful shoes and I will keep coming back to purchase more.

Carol- I just love this brand. I had a foot operation on my one foot and could not fit into any of my own shoes and then I found these. They are perfect because of the velcro. You can adjust the front part of the shoe, so as my foot got better I could make them smaller. I work in retail and the first time wearing them I had no problems. Bought another pair in black. Can't wait to see the fall styles.
