This is my pair number 7 of Naot Eiger over last 15-17 years. It is incredibly comfortable design of shoes. In initial shipment of pair number 7 right foot felt too tight. I got overnight replacement pair from Zappos. Thanks Zappos! This a great company to buy from.

Unbelievable bought a pair in 1999 and basically wore them all the time through med school and residency and them worked they finally failed the bottoms cracked. One of the best fitting and wearing shoes I have ever owned, I still have them and I am going to see if I can get them fixed they lasted 12 years!

3rd pair I've bought and always a winner. Only difference is now I've learned to buy them through the wonderful Zappos so life is just that much better!

These shoes are incredibly comfortable. Could use a little more arch in the insoles. I dock one star for the price.

Liked the style, easy slip on, suede lined cork insole, and assume good sole that grips on any surfaces. I have many Naot sandals sized 46. Problem with non-sandals I noticed I had to size up but often end up too big for me. That’s the gripe, no 46 and half. For this model (plus Director and Business) in 46, my large and middle toes touching front shoe leather cover repeatedly when test wearing them indoors.

I have to agree with another reviewer, that although it is still a quality shoe with a great insole, something has changed in their sizing. I have had this shoe before, and this one is way smaller. I even sent back a pair and reordered the same size thinking it had to be an error, but no, its just a half or full size small. I'd try again, but they don't come in half sizes, and they are out of a single size larger. Zappos service is always great though, and I always recommend them.

Good looking shoe, but MUCH tighter fit than a previous pair of Naots that I loved so well. Felt like a full size smaller. Had to return them.

Weird fit. I've never had a shoe where one size was a good half size smaller if not a whole size smaller. The right foot was perfect. The left was almost impossible to put on. I've never had this problem before.

I really wanted these to work out, but they were not comfortable. Size 11 was too small. Size 12 was too big. I did not care for the cork insole. It's light, but it's also stiff. I guess it would break in over time, but it gives a bad first impression. As far as style, these look like clogs. Very chunky sole and big profile. If you like clogs, you'll like these. If you don't, keep shopping. Finally, these are very dark brown (as pictured). They are almost black, and likely read as black in low light. That's what I was looking for, but be aware the brown is very dark.

I ordered size 44 and got size 43. I live in Canada and had to order to deliver in US and then reship and pay duty. They may work out size wise but disappointed in the small slip.

First and foremost Zappos customer service rocks. I own and have owned several Naot Shoes and always wear size 41 and all fit like a glove. This shoe was a "41" but my toe hit up front and was very uncomfortable. I put the shoe side by side with my other 41s and are definitely about 1 cm shorter than my Jaspers. Arch support is also not as good as the Jasper, but is good arch support nonetheless. Ordered size 42 and hoping for best. I want to give these a go, the build seems better than the Jasper, which suffer from the sole cracking along the seam up front.

Was super happy with this shoe for six months, after that I was disappointed and shocked that the sole wore out. With only moderate wear the ball of the sole wore through, so there was a hole. The sole was very comfortable while it lasted, but was made of such soft, spongy rubber material it wore out too fast.

These were way too big and the toe looked like clogs. So I returned them

this is my first naot Eiger but have two other pairs that looks better than this pair( they are over four years old and look newer than this pair) Cheaper leather is being used rather than raise their price. Mine have split across the top color on the toes have faded out to look different color.

These shoes were listed as 14, when actually they are 47s, which translates to at 13 and a half. Too bad.

Low quality materials for such an expensive shoe. Very disappointed

What happened to the quality of Naot shoes?! These were maybe 70% lighter than my previous pairs (similar styles) and much flimsier. At nearly $200 per pair, very disappointing.
