These boots are really kick ass and I would have given them a 5 if they had some cool spikes on them.

I'd buy it if .... If it was a steel toed 9733Z twin zippered one. Too bad DM doesn't make either the 9733Z plain toe anymore or this one with the twin zips. I could then use these on the job and get in and out of them quickly.

Surprisingly disappointing - I loved the photos of this boot on Zappos, but when they came in the mail, the sole was chunkier than it appeared in the pictures, and the fit was much wider, too. The leather was so hard that it squeaked like crazy as I took my first steps in them (a problem which could surely be fixed with a week or two of wearing-in). Anyway, I'm a woman who likes a good clunky boot, but these were simply too bulky to work with my knee-length skirts. I returned them.

Red Docs - Classic Doc Martin style in a BEAUTIFUL COLOR. RED adds a great twist to these hard working boots. Comfort and color... Thanks!

Style that is in for teenagers that are part of the punk group - The boots I ordered were for my grandchild and she thinks the boots are the coolest and she wears them everyday to school and probably sleeps in them too. To me they look like work boots and I have recommended my husband to look at the Zappos boots because he works with his horses everyday and needs good working boots with steel toes.

Great shoes! Bought these boots to wear to a circuit party! Danced in them for about 8 hours straight and they did great!! They were very comfortable! I did get a blister on the back of my foot but I think it is because I hadn't broken them in yet before I went dancing!

I'm still breaking them in but they look really nice and the break in is not to bad, they are very comfortable and at the end of the day my feet feel great

Cool Red Boots - The leather for this boot is very stiff. You have to pad your heels until it softens. Other than that, I have only rave reviews for it

Great Service - I'm extremely happy with zappos' service. When wearing these for the frist time, though, think thick socks and take it easy. I got blisters on the backs of my ankles, and unfortunately, they are a little too big.

Wonderful Boots - These boots are my first pair of Docs, and they certainly won't be my last. The break-in period was actually relatively short and painless for me, and they are an absolute dream now. I do have a little concern about the sole wearing out quickly, but I doubt that will be a problem. Beauty and comfort; who could ask for more? Awesome shoes!

The first pair I recieved had something wrong with the insole. I returned them to zappos with no problem and got a new pair within the week. After an initial break in period I can say that they are the most comfortable shoes I have

Doc Martens 1940 Series - I bought these boots for my fiance as a Christmas gift. He had a pair before, and he really liked them. He says they are the only boots worth wearing.

Great pair of boots - Of course at first you'll have some minor discomfort breaking them in, but after about two weeks, your good to go. And they feel great. Haven't wore Doc's in about 5 years and it's good to be back in them.

For a while I've been searching for a good boot that was without a zipper (zippers break so easily) and that would stand the rigors of traveling. I've found it in the 14 eyelet Dr.Marten's boot. I've been traveling the US by foot (and now boot!) for about 3 months now and without a day of pain! The price might not be too punk, but the way they hold up is!

Great Boot - It's a great work boot. A little hard to stand in until I put some inserts in it, but otherwise a great boot.

Just what the "Dr." ordered! Dr. Martens were originally designed as orthopedic shoes by their eponymous creator--- and after getting my Docs, I believe it! I purchased these shoes after foot surgery and have been more than grateful--- they not only protected my foot while it was healing (let's hear it for steel toes) but gave much-needed support to my lower legs and ankles. They were a little stiff at first, but I found that applying some of Doc Marten's Wonder Shoe Balsam (also available on this site) and leaving them alone for a few days improved this greatly.

Great delivery time - Got the shoes during the holidays in 1 1/2 days.

Customer service response - I bought the shoes for my son for Christmas. The appearance was what he was expecting as well as the type of shoe and the color. As with any shoes he needs to break them in but he is very happy with his new Dr. Martens. I was very pleased in the efficient way that we received the product. For my granddaughter - I am so pleased with these boots because they pleased my granddaughter, by being the perfect fit.

Hot! These boots are hot. I've gotten compliment after compliment on them, and I never get tired of hearing them. They're extremely comfortable (I've worn them for over two days straight), and I should mention that they only take a few weeks to break in. Doc Marten Sizes come a half size larger than marked, so if you wear a 9 1/2 (like me) buy a nine, and not a ten.

Got Docs? This isn't the first pair of Dr. Martens I've had. After 5 years I had to replace them. I still can't find a steel toe boot more comfortable than these.

Cool - I love the boots, still having to break them in. They are just like my old pair my brother's puppy teethed on.

These boots are great, they arrived at my house in 2 days, and I'm very happy with them.

The best boots on Earth! These boots are the best I have ever owned. Granted they took a little time to break in with a little saddle soap; they were perfect in a week. I wear them everyday to school and I can never take them off.
