Purchased these as a gift for my father, but they ended up being too small. I ordered the 9-10, and he's a 10, his heel hung out over the back edge. Definitely warm and cozy, but just seems to run small. They look like they would last a long time, and could definitely be worn outside with the rugged sole.

I purchased a second pair for my husband. The first pair lasted a year. Generally I buy Uggs, but he likes the fit (true to size), warmth, flexibility and comfort (not a thick sole), and sheepskin, although it mats down, it remains soft without clumping. There is some arch support but not significant enough to mention. The suede upper is of good quality and easy to clean. I put them in the washer and dryer on occasion and have had no problems with construction or fit. They are well made and a manly color.

When I first put these on, I was a little disappointed. They seemed kind of tight, and they kept pulling my socks off. But, knowing that they are leather, I gave them a little time to stretch slightly. I've had them for about a month, and now they have become extremely comfortable. I guess that took about a week of wearing them in the evenings after coming home from work and most of the day on weekends, so if you are going to invest the $, invest the time, and these will become excellent slippers. I marked them down one star on comfort for that initial period, which seemed prolonged, but that seems kind of harsh. Maybe just a quarter star downgrade. They are very warm and comfy now. I am looking forward to a long cold winter with warm feet!

This is my third pair of Old Friend slippers from Zappos. I have other slippers but I won't wear them because my Old Friend slippers are so comfortable. I wear them until there is nothing left then get another pair. Great fit and very very comfortable slipper.

I have diabetes and my feet swell and ache all the time. These slippers are so comfy and warm! They have been wonderful on my poor old feet feet, and I would recommend them to anyone.

My fiance loves these and loves me for getting them for him. The fur lining forms to your feet. They are sturdy too, so there will be no holes in the soles. The box says you can remove the fur and hand wash them, but not on this pair. It's attached. No biggie.

The Best Slipper! This is a wonderful slipper! In the last two years I have purchased this style for five different men. They all love them! At a few family functions I have over heard them say "I can't wait to get home to my Old Friends." I have the female version and I love the cozy warm feeling. This brand of slipper has a timeless look, are very comfortable and worth every penny...

So there is no back and as they say 'a roomy toe'. So what keeps these on your feet? The answer is nothing...unless you curl up your toes. Do not buy!

Got these for my 81 year young uncle who is having problems with swelling feet & unable to bend to put shoes on due to hip replacement. These accommodated the changing edema & have sturdy soles for daily use. He is very pleased with them.

My husband loves them. This is the first pair of "scuffs" I've gotten him and wasn't sure how he would like them. He loves that he can just slip them on and take the dogs out. Very comfy!

After months of watching my husband buy slippers from every "big box" store around and having them fall apart right away, I finally bought these for him. He loves them! I purchased these for my son-in-law and he just loves them. He said they are warm, soft and easy to slip off and on.

These slippers are, to quote the recipient (my 20 year old son): Awesome! He has worn them nearly continually since receiving them a day before Christmas. I had never heard of them but for the price and quality they seem great. We'll see if they hold up compared to similar ones from another favorite of ours, LL Bean.

I find that the Old Friend Scuffs are as good as the prior brand that I have been using. Service was great on shipping.

This is the second pair of slippers I've purchased for my partner and he loves them. They are very cushioned but also breathable so no foot odor. Would definitely buy again.

My husband wears a 9.5 EE shoe. I ordered him the large, because I wasn't sure the medium would fit. His heel sits 1/2 inch in from the back edge of the scuff and they are roomy in the EE width so he wears socks with them. He says they are really comfortable. We'll see how they hold up. I bought a pair of boiled wool scuffs by a well-known company and his big toe worked its way through those in a year. Oh, and I love ordering from Zappos, because if what I order doesn't fit, it ships back for free and the shipping is lightning-fast!

These slippers are much better than Uggs! The sheep skin feels like better quality than Uggs too. I would definitely buy these again and they are true to fit to your size.

This is my 3rd. pair and I wear them until they can't be worn anymore. I love these slippers and will buy more in the future.
