The finish peeled off the shoe after wearing it three times. Cheap materials and everything is glued together. The soles fell off after seven wearings. Avoid this product.

Glued - not sewn - These are not made well: the sole is glued on. I had mine repaired twice and the glue does not keep sole from seperating from the shoe. Very frustrating.

I'm a military officer and was looking for a daily wear shoe that was more comfortable than those in the uniform shop. Although these have a little more stitching than you could wear for inspection they otherwise look perfect. I've had them for a month and they are the most comfortabel shoes I have worn for work. I walk a lot and the padding is great. They hold their shine really well. The sides of the soles get a bit scuffed but no worse than the uniform shop shoes. Great shoe for the price. I ordered them on Saturday and they were on my doorstep on Monday!

Surprisingly comfortable, competitively priced office shoe. This shoe isn't exactly styling, but it's comfortable and it's cheap. If you need a new shoe for the office, it'll work. I recommend going a half size down, I wear a 10 1/2 and had to return for a 10.

The shoes were perfect and fit comfortably. I had a hard time finding wide width shoes and was so happy to find them here. I received the shoes very fast in a sturdy box! Very happy with this purchase. Have purchased shoes before and will do so again and again! Thank you!

Wasn't expecting much from what seems to be a loss leader for Zappos. (Deer Stags? Bizarre name.) Two weeks in, I'm impressed. Absolutely worth the purchase and a great deal. We'll see in eight or nine months how it goes. That's about how long the Rockport Margin lasted at twice the cost.

Decent shoe for the price. I have worn them about a dozen times and have had no issues with comfort or wear. I usually wear a wide and that is what I ordered initially. When they arrived, I found them to be very wide and returned them for a regular or M size. Much better fit. Great customer service on the return. Very happy with the purchase overall.

These are great shoes. The leather is substantial but soft with a nice finish. The soles are thick enough to keep the feet warm in the winter, but lightweight. Very comfortable right out of the box. I am very happy with this purchase.

These are very comfortable shoes. They are not exactly the style I like best but these have become my every day working shoes. I average 10 to 20 miles a day on concrete and my feet feel good at the end of the day. I will definitely get this style again.

These are comfortable. I wear them for dressing up and for work as an airline pilot. They are airport friendly.

These shoes are awesome from the very first wear! They are very light and comfortable. My son also has to wear orthotics and these fit no problem. They are so good for the price.

I purchased a pair of Dockers that were comfortable enough, however they had aa annoying squeak in the heel. I called Zappos customer service department and they replaced them with the Deer Stags. These shoes are not only more comfortable but do not squeak. Outstanding customer service.

I really like these shoes. I just bought my third or fourth pair of the same model. They are lightweight and comfortable.

I suffer from joint pain and I find the Deer Stag quite comfortable, wearing dress shoes is painful but with these shoes I was able to wear them for a longer period of time.

They appear to be OK, but the tops rub a bit on my ankle bone. As they are getting broken in more, they seem to be more comfortable

Very Comfortable Dress Shoe - This shoe is the most comfortable dress shoe I've yet to try on. Fits very well and has good support. My only complaint is that the toe box is not stiff enough.

Deer Stag first timer - The shoe is slightly larger in fit to size. Practically no brake in required. The sock support works well on cement floors. I do retail sales in a lumber yard with all concrete floors. The shoes are a plus in every respect. Only down side is that they are not totally water proof. Application of 1 coat of water proof in the area between sole and upper did the trick.

Sole marks up floors? A very comfortable shoe. My only complaint is that mine keep marking up my hardwood floors. It's as if I've reverted to wearing 1970's basketball sneakers - the house if full of dark grey rubber marks. They clean up easily, but my wife is annoyed :-)

Slight Reservation - This is my first experience with ordering shoes online. I like the way Zappos has done their site, especially showing the shoe from several angles. Yet, the experience can only be two dimensional -- you can't try it on in cyberspace. So, that being said, the shoes came quickly and I have no complaint. But they are a bit stiff. I think that after breaking them in they will be fine. And there is one annoying feature, due to the construction, they make a strange noise after every fifth step or so. It sounds like a dull pop -- can't explain it. But they do look good.

Would rate a 5 but - They are nice shoes fit good. The only thing is that the cut seems a bit high in the ankle and the heel. I am sure it is because I am used to tennis shoes. They are true to size and width. I am sure someone used to regular shoes would probably not notice the rubbing in these areas. I am use to more padding there. All in all a fine shoe. I am diabetic and have real sensitive legs, ankles.

Comfort Zone - The shoes are so comfortable...almost like wearing your comfy slippers all day long...My feet are in that total "comfort" zone...and if feet could smile...mine are just grinnin' away....Best thing I have even done for them...buying Deer Stags...an extra PLUS was the cost. Incredable value....

A really Great Shoe - Working inside an airport, it is important to have non-steel shanks and whole lot of comfort. This shoe delivers in both those departments. The only downside is that the shoelaces won't stay tied because they are slick which causes my foot to slip occassionaly.

Good Shoe - I just got them a few weeks ago and they feel great. I don't know about the length of time they will last, but time will tell.

Best comfortable dress shoes I've found - I love the shoes comfort and as long as you put a real good black polish on them that is buffed to a shine, they look like regular hardsoled dress shoes. This is the 3rd pair I've worn out and continue to buy them as I've none better. I had an ankle injury that won't let me wear hardsoled shoes, these are comfortable and look great.
