They were small enough to make me wonder whether there was some problem in manufacturing. Other brands that I've purchased online and in the same size and fit just fine.

I've been wearing Rockports for the past 10 years or so. But this shoe is not at the level I have come to expect from the brand. I purchased two pairs of Rockports with this order. One was exceptional! So I know Rockport is still capable of producing high quality shoes. But the Rockport World Tour Classic Walking Shoe was awful. The worst part about the shoe is that the sizing is just not even close to correct. The shoe is tight in all of the wrong places. The shoe laces are also ridiculously short, making tying them a challenge. If you're a fan of Rockport, this shoe is definitely not what you are going to expect. I would avoid at all costs.

I've worn Rockports satisfactorily for years, but unfortunately, these shoes feel more like the box they came in. Hard, no cushion and uncomfortable.

This is not a walker, the soles too thin. You'll set yourself up for a good case of planter fachitis which takes weeks to heal.

Just too tight. I’ve been wearing rockport walkers for 15 years and these are terrible. I wish I would have sent them back immediately but I hoped they would soften up but they didn’t. Terrible shoes don’t buy them.

I have been wearing and enjoying these shoes for over 10 or more so years. since we discovered your online, we have used you if we could not find here or in close towns. The last 2 pair have been awful. I ordered 2 last time because I knew they were fine but one was bad and the other was so so. I have only wore them a couple times the shoe strings are too short will not tie very narrow would not stretch. cannot wear with any comfort.

The shoes are smaller and narrower than my old pair, despite being the same size (on the tag). I exchanged them for a pair one size larger & the widest width available. They still didn't feel comfortable. The material seems to have declined in quality compared to my old pairs.

I purchased these shoes because I always wear this shoe, I have two other older ones that are showing wear and I wanted a new pair for traveling, however, this new purchase was very disappointing and I had to return it. My earlier shoes are all marked "Made in China" and they were excellent in both width and comfort, this new pair is marked "Made in India" and it is just not the same. It is not as wide as the earlier ones and it does not "feel" the same. I am very disappointed that I had to return them. I intend to write to Rockport and let them know that this shoe sizing has changed. However, Zappo's was wonderful to deal with ..... as always the best.

I had high expectations that, based on the mountain of good reviews, these Rockports would be a great walking shoe for an upcoming trip. Wrong. I'm suspecting the shoe has changed since all those great reviews were written. Both of the upper corners of the tongue dug into my lower ankle even if the shoes were loosely laced. If I tightened the laces the tonge doug in quite painfully. Under the unimpressive insole, the bottom of the shoe looks like hard cardboard. REALLY hard cardboard. Even with my Superfeet in this shoe it felt like a very hard sole, even trying them out around the house on carpet and wood floors. Overall, I'm kinda disappointed with the "Review" process if so many customers like shoes that are this stiff and hard soled.

I keep a pair of brown and black World Tour Classic shoes in my closet. Over the years, I have had numerous pairs of these shoes. However, this will be my last pair. When I opened the box, there was a smell, like a skunk in the box. Today, almost 4 months later, the smell is just as bad. When I open my closet door, the odor hits me in the face. I brought this problem to Rockport's attention, and I received a form letter response. I am going to discard them and order something else.

Normally I love Rockports. These shoes were unfortunately one of the most uncomfortable I have worn. Nothing like the other ones I have owned.

Ugly in real life and feel like a solid piece of unmovable plastic. I returned them, very disappointing for this price.

I've been a fan of Rockport shoes for many years. But as with many things, Rockport's quality has taken a dive. The wonderful World Tour Classics, once made in Vietnam and comfortable as a dream on my feet, are now made in India. Materials used in India are more rigid, still and a long way from being called comfortable. I've found numerous defects in the India-made shoes, such as stitching and eyelets. Unfortunately, I have needed to return several pairs.

I would like to agree with the overwhelming multitude of people who love this shoe, but sadly, I cannot. I find this shoe to be very uncomfortable, from the outer/inner sole that provide no support, to the very cramped toe box. Definitely not worth $100. These essentially brand new shoes will be going into my next Goodwill donation.

I have been wearing this model shoe for over 30 years. Having flat feet, I valued the support it provided, better than any other shoe I have tried. I recently ordered a pair from Zappos, my first. It wasn't the same shoe at all. It was tight on my foot. It was very stiff. The sewing on the tongue left a ridge that irritated my foot. I returned them and purchased a pair locally and they were my same comfortable shoes I expected. Honestly, it made me wonder if Rockport made a cheaper version of the model for Zappos to sell. I have purchased other things from Zappos and have found them pleasant to do business with. But, now they have lost my trust. Very disappointing.

I have purchased two pairs of this shoe previously in a 15 wide and they fit perfectly. However the 15w pair I just received is much narrower than the 15 wides used to be. To the piint where they do not come close to fitting. They are now made in India instead of Vietnam like the old ones. Very dissapointing.

Oh my lord these were so much uglier in person. I got the black ones thinking they'd be innocuous and comfy, and instead they looked like something a night shift nurse might wear with her teddy-bear patterned scrubs. And SO wide. Oh man, I could not return these fast enough. Don't buy if you're a young male who is even slightly concerned about the appearance of your footwear.

Extremely comfortable walking shoes. I have narrow feet and the narrow width is excellent. These are great shoes!

Fit good . Didn't like thick ties.

Comfort is excellent. For me I had to order one size larger than my normal shoes and this size fir well.

very comfortable, no heel and flat - ish reminds me of leather bottom shoes, feel good..

fit was good, needs breaking in. will be super comfortable.
