My husband has been wearing these shoes for years and loves them. We ordered him 2 pairs a while back and one pair was true to size but the other identical shoe was too small. He has a wide foot and wides have always fit so we thought it was just a fluke and sent the smaller shoe back. This time we ordered his size in wide and extra wide to try both. Both pair of shoes were too small, he could not get them on. Don't know what has changed but his feet haven't, everything else he buys is the same size. Back they had to go again. He is going to try going up 1/2 size so we will keep our fingers crossed because he absolutely loves this shoe.

I returned these. I bought them to replace Rockport ProWalkers which were too hard in the sole. These weren't any better. Too bad Rockport changed their design and lost the comfort!

Men's size 8, width XW (4E) - narrower by about 1/4" from prior purchases of same model/size/width. Country of manufacture is different: was Vietnam, now India.

Bought the "white" shoes which are not white but grayish. Very disappointed.

Fit was great, but after minimal wear, the upper is separating from the sole.

I purchased sport white. When I opened the box, the color is nothing like the website. It is NOT white; it is gray. Attached is a photo of the shoe next to a sheet of paper.

There haven't been many shoes where even before it's all the way on you're thinking "man this is awful." How these are walking shoes I don't know, they are profoundly uncomfortable. No cushion, odd lumps in the insoles that don't seem to relate to foot anatomy, and a stiffness that seems like it would never get more flexible. I can't recall the last pair of shoes I dislike as much as these. Sending them back first thing tomorrow.

Bought these shoes on 3/24/19 and today , after wearing them for the first time, the sole started separating from the rest of the shoe on its side. Very poor quality.

I have had these shoes for 7 months now, and I only wore it very very occasionally, that is because it is definitely the worst pair of shoes I have ever had!! The part surrounding the back of the ankle is so hard and stiff, I have to wear very thick socks to avoid getting blisters!

Made in a different country than previous years. Quality of material is cheaper. Not as comfortable. Bottoms are this inferior rubber that squeeks with every step!!

I have ordered the Rockport World Tour Classic in brown several times, in the exact same size, color, and width, and on this last round, it was clearly NOT the same Rockport quality. The shade of brown was darker, it was narrower, and simply of cheaper and poorer quality. Returning this, not bothering with an exchange. My husband found a pair of Sketchers in a similar style at Famous Footwear, and they were way better. Not going back to Rockport for this shoe ever.
I'd also recommend:

I have been buying a specific model Rockport for years and have been very pleased with them. However, it appears Rockport stopped making them so I bought these, which are very similar in style. Although I had to change the size I expected them to be as good. They were not. Once I actually left the house and walked in them, not on a carpet but on a sidewalk, it was evident there was no arch support and there was barely any padding at the heel. Within 20 minutes, with minimal walking, my knees and lower back were hurting. Fortunately, Zappos was good enough to take them back.

I have been buying these for the last 15 plus years. Great shoe, however the last 3 years the shoes have been a problem. Not assembled with the same quality. Had to return many. Had to go to a different shoe. Very disappointed. I use to recommend them all the time.

I have purchased many 12.5 shoes in the past. Now, not a choice. I have wasted money on 12 and 13 and had to give them away. 12.5. That's what we wear. Bring back 12.5.

I owned an earlier pair and looked forward to continuing to use this style shoe but the quality I saw in my earlier pair was missing with the pair I received. I returned them.

I am a long time wearer of this shoe, it's been around the world a few times, long plane rides, rushing through airports, train stations, to meetings, all handled with comfort and ease. I recently wore out my third pair, ordered online. Left shoe was made in Vietnam, looked and felt like I expected. Right shoe came from India, different fit, shoe-tongue label was stuck on, not sewn and already falling off, stitching and embossing all were off. The sole felt stiff and unforgiving. I exchanged the pair because they didn't really match. The next pair, both made in India and, sadly, poorly so. I won't buy any further world tours. Too bad. It was a great product in its prime.

Seen smaller size in store, read reviews, been waiting for my size to show up on website, then ordered proper size. After unpackaging, the shoe box itself looked pretty beat up, the shoes fit well, but appeared to be seconds. The tongue was mis-aligned and shifted to one side creating an opening down other. There was also other mis-aligned stitching and glue spots on the shoes. I was very disappointed with the order. I have had other Rockport shoes in the past with great success, I would look forward to get a properly made pair eventually, for the style, width and hopefully the traditional Rockport quality

I can't believe how cheap the uppers on these shoes are. I have worn this same shoe for 20 years, but they have taken the quality out.

Purchased these shoes twice...both times there was a problem with the shoe. I have had this shoe style for years with no problems but unfortunately there isn'ta store local that carries them, so I had to purchase on line. The last two pair that were purchased had a terrible fit and had to be returned. Be sure to try on for a good fit.

It has been quite a few years since my first purchase. The current product is more like rubber than leather. I realize that sources for the material are probably different now, but I need the feel and comfort of leather. Age 72 is probably a factor, ML
